Chapter 5
No Spoiling

Wang Tie Niu's destination was the Yang Yun Aman hotel in Magic City. The ancient mansion inside the Shanghai Yang Yun Aman hotel was said to be over 400 years old.

The Aman hotel brand is a symbol of luxury and high-end throughout the Asia-Pacific region. There are only four Aman hotels in China, and the Shanghai Yang Yun Aman hotel is the fourth one, designed by the world-renowned designer Kerry Hill. The overall architectural style is characterized by simplicity and lightness.

Wang Tie Niu had little experience staying in high-end hotels, and he simply chose one that looked good online. After all, he was a God of Fortune with a system, so he had plenty of confidence. However, the journey was long, nearly 700 kilometers, and according to the navigation, it would take about 6 and a half hours to reach the destination.

Even with Wang Tie Niu's exceptional physical fitness, the long drive made his head spin. He had a quick lunch at a service area. The eye-catching Chiron inevitably drew crowds wherever he went, be it at gas stations or service areas. Even when he was eating, people kept staring. Wang Tie Niu had grown accustomed to it.

“Finally almost there,” Wang Tie Niu let out a long sigh. He was just three traffic lights away from his destination. Driving for seven hours straight was a huge drain on his mental energy. All he wanted was a hot shower and a good night's sleep.

The green light for straight traffic was on. Wang Tie Niu, parked on the far right lane, slowly accelerated. Suddenly, a red Porsche Mecan in front of him, possibly having missed the right turn, cut across the solid line without signaling, heading straight for the right lane.

Wang Tie Niu instinctively hit the brakes to avoid a collision. In that split second, he changed his mind. He squinted his eyes, gripped the steering wheel tightly, and slammed his foot on the gas pedal without hesitation. With a loud “bang,” the Chiron crashed hard into the rear of the Mecan.

Wang Tie Niu let out a long sigh and slowly released the steering wheel. He put the car in park and turned off the engine. From now on, he wouldn’t tolerate anyone changing lanes over solid lines. He rolled down the window, leaned his arm on the windowsill, and dialed the traffic accident hotline.

Perhaps the collision came too suddenly. Five or six minutes later, a crowd of onlookers had gathered, three layers deep. The Porsche driver slowly opened the door and stormed toward Wang Tie Niu.

“Wow, what a beauty,” Wang Tie Niu couldn’t help but whistle. A pair of white and pink sneakers revealed a pair of slender legs, paired with denim shorts, a tank top, and a sheer blouse that accentuated her tall figure and a pair of headlights. Her long black ponytail reached her waist, and her porcelain-white oval face was slightly flushed. It was unclear whether it was anger or fright, but a few beads of sweat glistened on her high bridge of a nose. Her big watery eyes glared angrily at Wang Tie Niu.

“She must be eighteen or nineteen at most, but her figure is explosive. ‘Host XP recorded, Beauty Module skill unlocked!’” The system’s sudden notification startled Wang Tie Niu and made him retract his audacious gaze.

“I’d give her at least a 93,” Wang Tie Niu licked his lips. “Hey, how do you drive? Don’t you look at the road?” The young beauty asked angrily.

“Call the police, let’s see who’s at fault,” Wang Tie Niu shrugged indifferently.

“Hmph, I’ll call, I just bought this new car less than a year ago, and you smashed it up like this,” The young beauty’s voice was a little agitated. It seemed she loved her Mecan very much.

“Hey, beauty, you’re in big trouble,” a young man’s voice boomed from the crowd. Qin Xian Chen glanced at the source of the voice with disgust, then carefully scrutinized the car that had hit hers.

“It’s handsome, but I don’t recognize the logo. It shouldn’t be too expensive, right?” A little nervous, Qin Xian Chen bit her lower lip, as if she wanted to say something, but in the end, she just “hmph”ed, stomped her foot lightly, and turned to make a phone call back in the car.

The Magic City police were very efficient. In just two or three minutes, a motorcycle with flashing lights slowly pulled over to the side of the road. A young policeman squeezed through the crowd and arrived at the scene of the accident. When he saw the blue-black Chiron, he was taken aback. A few seconds later, he circled the accident scene, noticed the Chiron’s brazen rear license plate, and was stunned again. When he realized that the Chiron’s front license plate was missing, he frowned hard.

However, his years of experience prevented him from questioning anything rashly. He walked aside and used his mobile system to check the brazen license plate. When he received the “insufficient permissions” feedback, he thought for a moment and made a phone call. Upon learning that the other end also reported “insufficient permissions,” he pondered for a moment.

He walked over to the Chiron, saluted, and said, “Comrade, please show me your driver’s license.” “Here you go,” Wang Tie Niu cooperatively handed the policeman his driver’s license and registration. The policeman flipped through them for a while, confirmed that everything was in order, saluted again, and returned the documents to Wang Tie Niu.

The policeman walked over to the driver’s side of the Mecan and gently knocked on the window. He didn’t expect the Mecan’s driver to be such a beautiful young lady. He was stunned for a second before asking her to show her documents. Qin Xian Chen handed them to him. Hesitating for a moment, she quietly asked, “Is he going to pay for my car, or am I going to pay for his?”

Seemingly a little reluctant, the policeman thought for a moment and said, “I hope your car insurance coverage is enough.” He then turned around, walked to the rear of the Mecan, and gestured for both drivers to come over.

“Huh?” Qin Xian Chen was a little dazed. She got out of the car in a daze, finally seeing the full face of the driver of the opposite car. He had an ordinary face, an ordinary height, and although her own figure was very tall, the man seemed to be an inch or two shorter than her. He wore plain white T-shirt and sweatpants, with nameless sports shoes. He looked completely out of place with his stylish sports car.

“The car in front is fully at fault. I’ll write you an accident determination report,” the policeman’s words drew Qin Xian Chen’s attention back.

“Huh? Why am I fully at fault?” Qin Xian Chen looked like an angry little deer, almost jumping up.

“Changing lanes over a solid line, is there any doubt about that?” The policeman frowned.

“Why didn’t he slow down?” “I did slow down, but I couldn’t stop,” Wang Tie Niu shrugged, feigning innocence.

“Alright, it’s your fault. Haven’t you studied traffic laws? How did you get your driver’s license?” The young policeman’s tone became a bit heavier.

“But I… But I’ve been driving like this many times. They always let me. I just get some points deducted and pay a fine,” Qin Xian Chen felt wronged.

The policeman and Wang Tie Niu exchanged glances, shaking their heads. He handed the accident determination report to them. “Move your cars to the side of the road, don’t block the traffic. If you can’t drive, call a tow truck. Ask the insurance company for the tow truck number.” After dropping these words, the young policeman saluted, squeezed through the crowd, got on his motorcycle, and quickly disappeared into the stream of traffic.

“I’ll reverse my car first. If your car can still drive, park it on the side of the road. It’s pretty pointless to be surrounded like a monkey here,” Wang Tie Niu said to the bewildered girl, got into the car, and started the engine.

Thanks to the rear-mounted engine, the car could still drive. After a lot of scraping, it managed to park by the side of the road. Wang Tie Niu got out of the car and saw that she was still squatting near the damaged rear of the Mecan, motionless.

Wang Tie Niu walked over gently. He noticed a mist in her beautiful eyes. Her long eyelashes fluttered slightly, and her tearful appearance was truly pitiful.

Wang Tie Niu sighed, cleared his throat and said, “Cough, park your car on the side of the road and call the insurance company.”

“None of your business!” The girl wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, stood up, glared fiercely at Wang Tie Niu, and got into the car. Her black ponytail whipped up a faint fragrance.

Wang Tie Niu crossed his arms and watched the Mecan slowly start and limp to the side of the road. The onlookers, seeing there was no more drama, dispersed in groups of two or three. Some hurried away while playing with their phones, apparently eager to post it on their WeChat Moments or Weibo.

However, they wouldn’t know that their photos and videos would forever be stuck in an error state. Let’s not talk about that for now. Wang Tie Niu sat on a bench by the roadside and curiously searched for a silly question on a search engine: “Where can I get my Bugatti Chiron repaired?”
