Chapter 47: Arriving in Nibi City

“If you want to go to Nibi City, just keep going along this path. Unless something else happens, you should arrive by evening.”
After catching the Eevee, Satoshi and Kasumi were ready to continue their journey. Though it took some time, it was thankfully only noon.
The samurai boy accompanied them for a while and pointed out a path. To be honest, even with a map, nothing beats experiencing it firsthand in nature.
He had been in the Viridian Forest for so long that he knew the paths there much better than any map. The route he pointed out was a smaller path, different from the one on the map.
Though slightly more secluded than the standard route on the map, it was still passable. Moreover, it was much shorter than the route Satoshi saw on the map.
“Okay, thank you.” Satoshi also thanked the other party.
“You're welcome. We're all traveling, it's only natural to help each other out.” The samurai boy waved his hand in response.
“Then goodbye.” The two of them waved goodbye to the samurai.
They continued on their way to Nibi City. Watching their departing figures, the samurai boy stood there and sighed…
“Satoshi from Pallet Town, he’s an incredible guy. Maybe he'll become an amazing Trainer in the future.”
Meanwhile, deep within the Viridian Forest…

“Damn little brat, next time I won’t let him off so easily!” The Team Rocket trio, still in the Viridian Forest, were looking a bit battered after their defeat.
“This also proves that that Pikachu is truly worth capturing!” Hearing Musashi’s complaints, Kojiro also clenched his fist and said excitedly.

“My name is Takenori.”
“Takenori? So what’s the problem with challenging the Nibi Gym?” Kasumi could also hear the problem with Takenori’s tone. She was also a little unhappy.
