At the Gryffindor table, Hermione had been looking forward to this moment for a long time.
Seeing Wayne and Cho laughing together, she snorted coldly.
Until Wayne stood up and waved to her, the little witch immediately stood up as well.
The two girls followed behind him, leaving the castle and heading towards the Black Lake.
Wayne first introduced the two to each other.
"This is Hermione Granger, a new Gryffindor student this year. You can also call her Miss Know-It-All."
"This is Cho Chang, a second-year Ravenclaw student. She's the best female seeker in the entire school."
Both girls rolled their eyes.
There was no way anyone would introduce someone like that.
Hermione, in particular, pinched Wayne's arm angrily.
This nickname was given to her by Snape, and Hermione originally hated it. Now, hearing Wayne say it
made her hate it even more.
With a common enemy to despise, Hermione and Cho soon joined forces, and quickly got to know each other.
Wayne then thought for a moment and summoned his Phoenix.
Ever since the Phoenix hatched, there had been an invisible connection between them, allowing them to sense each other, even across great distances.
A burst of flames appeared, and the Phoenix flew out. And that wasn't all, Fawkes, who had been following her since morning, flew out as well.
The two girls' eyes sparkled, and they were already eager to get closer.
While Wayne thought the Phoenix was ordinary, to Cho and Hermione, it was incredibly beautiful.
Especially those beautiful, smooth feathers, emitting a faint glow.
The entire bird seemed to exude a sacred aura.
Fawkes was slightly less impressive. He seemed to be nearing his nie pan, his feathers lacked some of their luster, but he was still full of life.
"Where did you go to play?" Wayne stroked the Phoenix's feathers softly and asked.
The two birds chirped twice.
"Unicorns?" Wayne's eyes lit up.
"How many?"
"Jiu! Jiu!"
"Only three? That's not bad."
Wayne nodded, making up his mind to visit them sometime.
He was also a fan of beautiful things, and unicorns, these pure creatures from various legends, piqued his interest.
Seeing Hermione and Cho still standing there, Wayne waved his hand. "Come here. The Phoenix is easy to get along with, but don't touch her crown."
With his permission, and seeing that the Phoenix didn't object, the two girls moved closer to admire it in detail, even taking out the snacks they had prepared earlier.
Wayne also took out some white fresh leaves and fire snake eggs from his pocket.
"Feed her this. Phoenixes like to eat healing herbs and fire-attributed materials."
These were given to him by Dumbledore earlier, and he just happened to have them on hand for this.
The Phoenix and Fawkes obediently ate, while Cho and Hermione carefully reached out to stroke the Phoenix's feathers.
Their eyes closed in blissful contentment.
Warm and comfortable.
"By the way, Dumbledore has allowed you to live in the Forbidden Forest."
Wayne instructed the Phoenix, "If you want to play, be careful. Remember to heal any injuries you may come across."
What he meant by playing, of course, was leveling up.
The Forbidden Forest also had its own food chain. If the Phoenix was too reckless, it would also disrupt the balance of the forest.
"Jiu! Jiu!"
The Phoenix proudly raised its head, flapping its wings twice, as if to say, "Don't worry, I've got it."
Wayne was speechless.
Hopefully, nothing too chaotic happens.
"Wayne, why does the Phoenix have a crown on its head, but Fawkes doesn't?" Hermione suddenly asked.
"Because my Phoenix is a king, Fawkes is not."
"You're bragging."
"You'll know soon enough."
"........."
The two birds ate and drank to their heart's content, and flew away satisfied. Hermione and Cho also had their fill of the experience.
At this time, Hermione asked, "You said you needed to talk to me in class. Now's the time to say it."
Cho glanced at the two of them, "Then I'll go first."
"No need." Wayne waved his hand, "I'd need your help even if you weren't here today."
Cho became interested, "How can I help you?"
In her eyes, Wayne was incredibly talented, mastering wandless magic, and even bought a Firebolt 2000 in his first year. He wasn't short of money either.
She couldn't imagine what Wayne could need help with.
Wayne took out two thick sheets of parchment from his bag, handing one to Hermione and one to Cho.
"I'm planning to do some small business. Hufflepuff is not a problem, but I need help with other houses."
"What's this?"
The parchment had no content, but the decorative patterns and designs were beautiful.
Hermione's parchment had gold-red edges and two majestic lions drawn on the two corners of the parchment.
While Cho's was light blue with a pattern of soaring eagles instead of lions.
"Touch them with your wands."
The two girls did as he said, and the originally blank parchment suddenly appeared with a ball of ink, which quickly spread and transformed into a map.
"This is a map of Hogwarts Castle?" Hermione exclaimed, looking at him in surprise.
"That's right, but it's more than just a map. As long as you're inside the castle, you can see your own location and the real-time movement of the stairs."
Cho's curiosity was also piqued, "It's that magical?"
Wayne shrugged, "Try it and you'll know."
The three returned to the castle, and sure enough, each of them had a marker on the map.
Wayne was a badger, Hermione was a lion, and Cho was an eagle.
As they moved, the icons also moved.
Reaching the staircase, Hermione checked, and the movement of the stairs matched the map exactly.
Even when they were about to step onto that grumpy staircase, a prompt appeared on the map, reminding them not to run or stomp.
"That's amazing." Cho exclaimed, then looked at Wayne.
"You made this?"
"Of course." Wayne was a little proud, "I spent a whole week researching this."
Cho clapped in agreement, "Wayne, you're amazing. With this map, I'll never be late again."
Hermione fell silent.
She had been studying diligently this time, trying to catch up with Wayne.
But looking at this map, she felt a sense of despair.
How could she possibly catch up with this monster?
