Chapter 7
The Green Centaur Sanctuary

The next day!

The first morning after the apocalypse, the sun still rose from the east.

Warm rays of light fell from the sky, covering the ravaged earth.

At the foot of the Manniu Mountain, Su Ye had also woken up.

But clearly, he hadn't slept well last night.

Territories built in the wild are often subject to sporadic monster attacks.

In just the past five hours, there had been over a dozen waves of attacks.

Although they weren't large in scale, they were annoying nonetheless.

At the same time, this further strengthened Su Ye's resolve to build a wall.

Once he surrounded the territory with a wall and built a few heavy crossbows, those sporadic small monsters wouldn't be much of a threat.

After a quick breakfast, Su Ye prepared to set out.

He didn't know the exact location of the nearby secret realm, he had only heard about it.

Leaving ten Goblins to guard the territory, Su Ye set out with his small force.

Eve led six Elven archers in the rear, occasionally scanning their surroundings with vigilance.

Su Ye rode on Chilie's back.

As the lord, how could he walk, right?

They searched the surrounding area of the territory, but found nothing.

The group returned to their starting point.

"Are you sure there's a secret realm nearby?" Eve asked with a hint of doubt.

Su Ye shrugged, "Definitely."

He patted Chilie's head, "Take me up, we'll search from the sky."

Chilie snorted, his wings flapped, a gust of wind swept by, and he carried Su Ye into the air.

In his previous life, Su Ye had spent countless hours riding on the backs of flying units to command battles. Being suddenly lifted into the air didn't cause him any discomfort like acrophobia.

He widened his eyes, scanning the surrounding mountains.

As they were flying, Chilie suddenly let out a dragon's roar, carrying Su Ye towards a canyon behind Manniu Mountain.

Su Ye looked closely and finally discovered something.

He saw a cave emitting a green glow on the stone wall within the canyon.

Su Ye was all too familiar with that light, it was a secret realm, wasn't it?

"There should be another one, keep looking." Su Ye commanded.

The dragon and its rider flew for a while longer, finally finding another secret realm by the large river on the left side of Manniu Mountain. This one was a higher level, a blue secret realm.

Having confirmed the locations, the dragon and its rider returned to the territory, leading the force directly towards the canyon's secret realm.

There were many monsters scattered throughout the forest along the way, they fought their way through them.

By the time they reached the entrance of the canyon's secret realm, it was an hour later.

Looking at the cave glowing green in front of them, a hint of surprise crossed Eve's eyes.

Green secret realms, even in her own territory, were not that common.

Su Ye had actually found one, which surprised her.

"Let's go in, let's be quick." Su Ye said.

He was about to command the Goblins to enter the secret realm.

Eve stood in the back, her expression conflicted.

"Wait!"

Su Ye stopped and turned to Eve.

She gritted her teeth, glancing at the surroundings, "It's a green secret realm, are you sure we can take it down?"

In the Lord's Era, apart from some special secret realms, ordinary secret realms were divided into six levels, from lowest to highest: White, Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, Red.

The six secret realms each correspond to a fixed level of monsters.

For example, the monsters that spawn in a white secret realm are generally level 1 or level 2 units.

But this green secret realm in front of them spawned level 3 and level 4 units.

Su Ye's force consisted of himself, a human, Goblins, a level 1 unit, and Eve's Elven archers, a level 2 unit.

Although they also had Chilie, a level 10 unit, it was only a single unit.

Could such a force truly take down this green secret realm in front of them?

Eve was skeptical, of course, this was the natural caution of her being the Elven archer squad leader.

Hearing this, Su Ye didn't seem worried at all, he just glanced at Eve calmly, "You underestimate level 10 units too much."

He waved his hand, and the ten Goblins in front of him were the first to pass through the entrance of the secret realm.

Then it was Su Ye and Chilie.

Watching Su Ye disappear into the entrance of the secret realm, Eve gritted her teeth, hesitated for a moment, and chose to follow.

She had been with Su Ye for a while now, and had some understanding of him.

He didn't seem like the kind of person who would be arrogant and reckless.

If he truly didn't have any confidence, he wouldn't have risked coming here, right?

The group felt like they passed through a curtain of water, and when they appeared again, they were already in a strange space.

The arrival of the Lord's Era had digitized the world.

Humanity could not only become players, but also build their own territories and summon units.

And these so-called treasures, secret realms, were actually entrances to different spaces.

To put it simply, they were like dungeons in a game.

Now, Su Ye and his group were stepping into a small, alien space.

They were greeted by a vast expanse of grassland.

Su Ye crouched down, examining the surrounding footprints and the droppings left behind by some monsters, and quickly came to a conclusion.

"It seems like this secret realm is the territory of Centaurs. These guys are fast, they have a strong charge ability, everyone be careful." Su Ye said solemnly.

In his previous life, after becoming a lord, he had had a Centaur unit template.

Those creatures with human upper bodies and horse lower bodies were not weak.

They were incredibly fast when running, wielding spears, and could transform into brave and valiant cavalry.

Eve was surprised by Su Ye's analysis, but before she could speak, Chilie, sensing the movement, flew up.

A dense sound of footsteps came from directly in front of them.
