Although he knew that the Forbidden Forest was home to many wild magical creatures, he had never dared to go there.
He wasn't sure if Quirrell would follow him, or suddenly meet him somewhere, and cast a Killing Curse.
Then he would be finished.
But now it was different, with the "See Through Atmosphere" skill, he could see much further, if he saw Quirrell, he could simply avoid him.
He wasn't going to sleep tonight, he was going to level up his skill and try to get into the Forbidden Forest as soon as possible.
Harry activated "See Through Atmosphere."
In an instant, Harry felt a miniature map of Hogwarts appear in his mind.
There were some flashing points in different places.
One place had a large concentration of flashing points.
These flashing points were treasures.
But this was the wizarding world, any magic item counted as a treasure, including the paintings in the hallways.
Harry didn't know which treasures were useful and unowned.
There was no need to look for any so-called treasures.
He kept using "See Through Atmosphere."
Until he fell into a hazy sleep.
He wasn't really sleeping, he was mentally exhausted, he had used up all his magic.
The next day, Harry, who had fallen into a hazy sleep, was still the first to wake up in the dormitory.
He woke up his roommates who were sleeping like little pigs, and they went to the dining hall to eat.
Hermione noticed that the little lions' attitude towards her had changed.
Although it wasn't like they were back to being enthusiastic with her, she could clearly feel the way everyone looked at her.
It was full of complexity, relief, and kindness - although no one spoke to her proactively, there was no longer that damn sense of indifference.
In the Gryffindor common room, Harry, Hermione, and Ron were working on their homework together.
After finishing a paper, Hermione finally couldn't contain her curiosity and asked Harry, "Harry, why has everyone's attitude towards me changed so much? I, I haven't done anything."
Ron's expression was a bit complicated.
Harry stopped writing and looked at her and said, "Simple, because you're not going it alone anymore, you're participating in things that involve the whole group."
"But because of this, Gryffindor was deducted 10 points!" Hermione bit her lip and said.
"Didn't we get 20 points added?" Harry looked at her in confusion.
"That's because of you, if you hadn't saved me, the 10 points wouldn't have been deducted, those 10 points were deducted because of me." Hermione shook her head and said.
"See, that's why you can't fit in, you've excluded yourself from the Gryffindor group." Harry said calmly.
"Gryffindor isn't just about you, or just about me, why do we have to keep track of every point, deducting and adding points, and put it on everyone's head?"
Hermione was silent, Harry had hit a sore spot, and her eyes were tinged with tears again.
"Don't you have something to say to Hermione?" Harry timely shifted the topic, interrupting her brewing emotions, and said to Ron, who was beside him.
Ron stammered, the words he'd thought about all day yesterday, after going through so much and sleeping for a night, were almost forgotten.
He didn't know where to begin.
So he could only say dryly, "I'm sorry, Hermione, yesterday it was me, I was too harsh."
Hermione shook her head and said, "No, you were right."
With tears in her eyes, she said, "It's just that I've always been a little confused, is there anything wrong with following the school rules?"
"Of course there's nothing wrong with that, but sometimes, the rules are rigid, people are flexible, some things, even if they violate the rules, should be done."
"But at Hogwarts, if you break the rules, all you get is a point deduction..."
"Maybe detention too." Ron added.
Harry rolled his eyes and continued, "The school rules are just a constraint on your behavior, when you want to do something out of line, they remind you that it's wrong."
"But, the most important thing between people is their feelings, should you ignore your friends for the sake of the rules, or should you violate the rules for the sake of your friends, you have to figure that out yourself." Harry said gently.
Hermione was a little dazed, for an 11-year-old, especially for Hermione, who grew up in the Muggle world, challenging the rules seemed to be a bit destructive to her life values.
"What do you think, Harry?" Hermione stared intently at Harry's eyes, wanting to get the answer from him.
"Hehehe, haven't I already made my choice?" Harry spread his hands.
"In my opinion, people who don't follow the rules may be useless, but people who don't cherish their friends are not even as good as useless."
Hermione rolled her eyes, making sure he wasn't mocking her, that she wasn't even as good as useless, right?
Ron, on the other hand, was excited, "You're so right, Harry, people who don't follow the rules may be useless, but people who don't cherish their friends are not even as good as useless, it can be considered the motto of Gryffindor."
Hermione's eyes gradually became firm, she looked at Harry and smiled and said, "I understand, thank you, Harry."
Waving his hand, Harry gestured that it was just a small matter.
Three days later, after Harry's persistent efforts, he finally leveled up "See Through Atmosphere" to advanced, he could now see where people were.
After returning from Professor McGonagall, Harry put on his Invisibility Cloak, he was a little excited.
He asked Ron to cover for him, when he heard Harry say he was going to explore the Forbidden Forest, Ron's eyes were gleaming.
He begged Harry to take him with him.
But Harry refused, saying that he wasn't familiar with the environment, and that he was too weak.
But Harry still gave him hope, saying that after he was familiar with the environment of the Forbidden Forest, he might be able to take him for a walk.
Ron said, "You promise?"
Harry nodded, "I promise."
Ron excitedly patted his chest and promised that he would do a good job of covering for him.
Harry slipped out of the dormitory, with "See Through Atmosphere," Filch couldn't touch him.
But his cat, Mrs. Norris, didn't appear in his magic.
After all, it was just a cat, "See Through Atmosphere" couldn't see animals.
But if this Invisibility Cloak could even cover up the smell, then it wouldn't be worth Dumbledore having some hesitation.
Ignoring the little cat that was patrolling.
Harry easily reached the Forbidden Forest and just happened to bump into Hagrid, who was patrolling with a lantern.
As he said, he had to guard against some young witches and wizards sneaking into the Forbidden Forest, or, some magical creatures sneaking out of the Forbidden Forest.
The castle's contract did not include the Forbidden Forest, if young witches and wizards encountered these magical creatures, they would be in danger.
Harry took a deep breath, the smell of rotting leaves, some fresh animal dung, and fresh air mixed together in the Forbidden Forest.
It wasn't very pleasant, but it made Harry excited.
He could finally embark on the path to rapid growth in strength.
