When Harry returned to the Gryffindor common room.
He was greeted by loud cheers. George and Fred used their wands to conjure confetti, which fell on Harry's head.
"The hero who slaughtered the troll is back!" Wood shouted, raising his arm.
"Harry, I think you need this." George handed Harry a cup of butterbeer.
"Good job, Harry." George leaned close to Harry and said, "Ron told us that you single-handedly defeated the troll."
"That's something even a sixth-year student might not be able to do." Fred nodded in agreement.
"It's not our fault." A sixth-year student felt a stab in his heart.
His face flushed red as he argued for himself and his classmates, "It's all because we have a new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor every year, and each professor has different skills."
Harry looked left and right and found that Hermione was not there.
"Where's Hermione?" Harry asked Ron.
"She went back to the dorm." Ron said.
Compared to the senior students who kept praising Harry's bravery.
His classmates were more concerned about his safety.
"Harry, I know you're great, but it was a troll after all, next time don't take risks." Dean Thomas said.
Harry naturally wouldn't say that he went to kill the troll.
"After all, Hermione was there." Harry said.
Dean frowned, "She's not worth..."
"No, she is worth it. She is also a Gryffindor, no matter who it was, I would have gone." Dean stopped talking.
The young lions around them were full of excitement and enthusiasm.
Looking at their expressions, Harry said, "Actually, I was able to kill the troll, and Hermione helped me a lot."
This was not a lie, if he had not gone to find Hermione, he would not know where to find the troll, and he would have been robbed of his kill by the professors.
"She is only an eleven-year-old child, everyone needs to grow up, making mistakes and correcting them is fine, we can't even give her a chance, can we?" Harry continued.
He wasn't ignoring Hermione's isolation, but it wasn't the right time yet. Now, the time was right.
The young lions around him fell silent.
"Ron, did you have something to tell me?" Harry called to Ron and returned to his dormitory.
"Harry, guess what I saw when I went to find the professor?" Ron said excitedly as soon as he came in, without even sitting down.
Looking at him like, hurry up and ask.
Harry asked obediently, "What did you see?"
Ron's expression turned serious, "I saw Professor Snape, he was walking towards the fourth floor, the one Professor Dumbledore mentioned on the first day, that fourth floor corridor!"
Harry pretended to understand, "So you followed Snape all the way, that's why you brought the professor here after I killed the troll?"
Thank you, Ron, really, you helped me a lot.
Ron didn't know what was going on in Harry's mind, he just smiled sheepishly and shrunk his head.
Because he followed Snape, the professor arrived late, luckily Harry was fine, otherwise he wouldn't know how to forgive himself.
But soon, he stretched his head out again.
He spread his arms and said anxiously, "Harry, you saw Professor Snape get hurt just now."
Harry nodded, "Yes, I did, I even healed him, what's wrong?"
"He must have been injured on the fourth floor corridor, there is something protecting something there." Ron said confidently.
"Remember the first time we went to Hagrid's, he said, 'Fortunately, I brought it back from Gringotts to Hogwarts, otherwise Gringotts would have been attacked, and I don't know if it would have been lost.'"
"That thing must be very valuable, maybe it's on the fourth floor corridor, protected by something." Ron's eyes lit up as he spoke, he even felt a slight itch in his brain.
Harry looked at Ron with a slightly shocked expression, scanning him from head to toe.
Ron was a little embarrassed by Harry's look, and he said, "What's wrong, Harry? Did I say something wrong?"
"No, you're right, Ron, I have to admit I was wrong, you do have a brain." Harry apologized sincerely.
Ron frowned, he felt something was wrong with this sentence, it didn't sound like he was complimenting him.
But it didn't matter, he had already fallen into the fun of deduction.
"So, Professor Snape must have wanted to steal the thing inside, and he released the troll, it must have been him, just to cause chaos, so he could steal the treasure on the fourth floor."
"Um?" Harry's face froze.
Since you listened to Hagrid, why did you only listen to half of it? Didn't he say that Snape is trustworthy?
Quirrell is such a big guy, his performance is so clumsy, you completely ignored him, right?
Harry looked at Ron's red hair.
He has some brains, but they are not fully developed yet.
"I just wonder what it is that Professor Snape cares so much about." Ron said.
"It's the Philosopher's Stone." Harry told him the answer.
"Huh?" Ron looked at Harry in shock, why did it feel like this friend knew everything.
"Professor Dumbledore told me, and it wasn't Snape who wanted the Philosopher's Stone, but Quirrell."
"Professor Quirrell?" Ron was stunned, then he chuckled, "Professor Quirrell? With his guts, would he dare to go in? Snape..."
"No, it's Professor Quirrell, his fear is all an act, Professor Dumbledore and I have confirmed it, Professor Snape is indeed trustworthy." Harry interrupted him.
He didn't tell Ron that Quirrell was possessed by Voldemort.
Because there was no need, Ron didn't need to get involved in this matter.
This was his feud with Voldemort.
"Okay." Since Harry said so, Ron believed him, maybe his deduction was wrong.
Then Ron felt that his brain stopped itching.
"By the way, what kind of treasure is the Philosopher's Stone?" Ron said.
"You have to find that out yourself, I really don't know." Harry shook his head, he didn't have time to learn about these things that he couldn't touch for now.
"Hermione might know, you can ask her." After thinking for a while, Harry said.
Hermione was different from him, Hermione read almost every book, her hobby was reading.
Ron looked complicated, he hesitated a little to go to Hermione, even after the troll incident, Ron had put aside his prejudice against Hermione.
Harry took a bath and lay on the bed.
Now he had time to check what new magic his game magic had unlocked after leveling up three times.
He closed his eyes and slowly sensed.
Protective Shield, Stone Skin, Earth Vision, God's Grace, Demonic Exorcism, Water Control, Fire Control, Air Vision all appeared.
In the level 1 magic, Summon Boat, Bloodlust, Curse were missing.
This made Harry very excited, he suddenly had so many new magic, and the most happy thing was that Air Vision finally appeared.
Air Vision at the beginner level can show the location of nearby treasures, at the advanced level it adds the ability to show the location of heroes.
Expert level can even show the location of the castle.
He didn't need to reach expert level, he just needed to reach advanced level.
As long as he could show the name of the heroes, he would be able to sense Quirrell's location, and he would be able to go to the Forbidden Forest safely.
