Chapter 6
The Married Woman with Glasses

Choi Eun Ho took off his casual blazer and draped it over his arm, parting the crowd and stepping into the elevator.

The sound of sirens and news of the prosecutor's arrival had already spread through the floors, drawing a large crowd of office workers to watch.

Upon reaching the ground floor, Choi Eun Ho stopped at the vending machine, bought two bottles of mineral water, and drank one in a single gulp.

To quickly eliminate the effects of this drug, he needed to drink a lot of water to lower his body temperature and flush the drug out of his system.

Why was he so familiar with this?

He’d seen this a lot in his past life!

As soon as he stepped out of the office building, Lee Seon Mi's anxious expression met his eyes. She was still standing beside the car.

“Senior, how did things go?” She asked eagerly.

“I’ve already handed it over to the other prosecutors. You can rest assured, evil will ultimately be brought to justice!” He said resolutely.

These words, uttered from his own mouth, made Choi Eun Ho feel a hint of irony.

However, he thought again, after all, he was carrying out justice, even if the methods were a bit ironic. At least he was better than those who talked about justice but didn't put it into action.

Choi Eun Ho gestured to Lee Seon Mi to get in the car.

It was a black BYD.

“Where’s the address?” He asked.

“9 Shang Hang Street Central Road, Senior. Don’t you know?” Lee Seon Mi looked at him in confusion.

“I was just confirming. I didn't realize it was so close. Maybe I’ll go visit sometime. “ Choi Eun Ho started the car, smiling.

“Where do you live, Senior?” Lee Seon Mi hesitated for a moment, curiously asking.

“Near the National Central Jin Mao Tower, it’s about four or five kilometers from where you live.”

“It’s so close?”

“I work at the Central District Prosecutor's Office, and my wife works at the Central District Court, so we bought a house nearby.” Choi Eun Ho chatted casually while driving, trying to change the subject.

“You live on Shang Hang Street, your family must be quite wealthy.”

“It’s all from my family. My dad is the owner of Shi Yu Law Firm.” Lee Seon Mi said a little embarrassed.

In court, she could face the judge without fear and present the facts, but facing this senior, she felt tongue-tied.

She secretly comforted herself, maybe it was because of what just happened that made her feel guilty.

While Choi Eun Ho caught some information from her words.

Shi Yu Law Firm? Wasn’t that a famous law firm located near the Seoul Central District Court?

He had always thought this pretty and charming junior was just an ordinary person. He never expected she was the jewel of a famous lawyer’s palm, truly carrying on the family business.

Choi Eun Ho’s mind was churning, recalling bit by bit about her.

After sending Lee Seon Mi to her residence, Choi Eun Ho casually promised to visit again, then drove away under her melancholic gaze, heading straight home.

He had to first eliminate Jang Su Xi’s prejudice and suspicion towards him, or directly solve the problem of Jang Su Xi.

The Prosecutor's Office and the Court had given them a half-month honeymoon. Jang Su Xi should be at home now.

Choi Eun Ho drove towards his home along the route he remembered.

It was a detached villa with a courtyard, secretly transferred to him by Jang An Tae, under the guise of a new home for his beloved daughter.

Choi Eun Ho, on the other hand, claimed to the outside world that he had won the lottery, which allowed him to buy this marriage house.

This was all to keep Jang Su Xi from knowing the truth.

He pushed open the courtyard door, entered the door code, but was told it was incorrect.

He entered it again, and the same result.

What was going on?

Had he come to the wrong place?

Or was his memory wrong?

He stubbornly rang the doorbell.

Footsteps came from far to near, finally stopping behind the door.

Choi Eun Ho put his eye close to the peephole, wanting to see what was inside the door, but unexpectedly saw a shrunken eyeball.

The person inside the door seemed to be startled by him, letting out a cry and quickly backing away.

It was confirmed, it was the voice of his wife, Jang Su Xi, from his memory.

As the door opened, a fragrant scent wafted in, and a girl who looked like a college student stepped gracefully into view. She was tall and slender, exuding a hint of mature charm.

Her slightly curled hair was casually draped to one side, and she was wearing a pair of gold-rimmed glasses. Through the refraction of the lenses, her eyes revealed a hint of coldness.

Her lips were delicate, her face was bare of makeup, yet she was still beautiful like a painting.

She was wearing a simple white silk shirt and a pair of tight-fitting jeans. The hem of the shirt was tucked neatly into the waistband of her pants, making her waist look even thinner, like a fruit born on a thin branch.

The tight black jeans fit her body snugly, outlining her attractive curves, making her figure appear even more upright.

Her appearance made Choi Eun Ho’s heart secretly rejoice, a wife wearing glasses, attack speed +50%.

Jang Su Xi looked at him coldly and asked, “Who are you?”

Choi Eun Ho was slightly taken aback, pushed his non-existent glasses. He was nearsighted in his past life, and seeing Jang Su Xi’s glasses, he felt a little itch.

“What are you talking about?” He asked.

Jang Su Xi continued to ask coldly, “Who are you?”

Choi Eun Ho frowned slightly. He had drunk three bottles of water along the way and now desperately needed to relieve himself.

“Stop playing around, I’m your husband. Let me in.” He said impatiently.

Jang Su Xi sneered, her arms folded across her chest, her full breasts becoming more prominent. She pushed her glasses up with one hand, and sneered, “My husband wouldn’t be cheating on me and going to a hotel with another woman on our second day of marriage!”

Choi Eun Ho was taken aback, a hotel? He was completely dumbfounded.
