At Jack’s suggestion, their group left the crowded hotel lobby and found a secluded plaza.

“Tell me, how much did the kidnappers demand for Rona’s release!?”
Looking around to ensure no one was nearby, Jack immediately asked Aaron about Rona’s situation.
Aaron said helplessly, “If it was just money, I wouldn’t have come to you.” As a somewhat famous singer, he wasn’t short of money. The problem was, the kidnappers weren’t demanding money; that was the trouble.
“If money can’t solve it, what good am I? I’m not a cop, I can’t help you catch the kidnappers.”
Jack was speechless, he didn’t know how to handle kidnappers who didn’t want money.
“You can definitely help with this.”
Aaron’s spirits lifted, and he said, “The kidnappers want me to trade the Godly Armaments for Rona. I know you’ve been looking for the Godly Armaments, you should have a way to get them.”

Jack was stunned. Lu Hao spread his hands and said, “Unfortunately, we just sold one of the Godly Armaments, the Holy Spirit Sword.”

“Jack, what are you saying? You don’t care about Rona anymore? You forgot how much you loved her?”
Aaron looked shocked, as if he couldn’t believe that Jack would just stand by. After all, Jack had once loved Rona, and they had pursued her together. Although they failed, Aaron knew Jack’s character and thought he wouldn’t be so heartless.
Lu Hao perked up his ears and listened attentively, nodding approvingly from time to time.
“Don’t use my feelings for Rona against me!”
Seeing Lu Hao like this, Jack’s face turned black. This dark history couldn’t be hidden.
“Then use my feelings for you, that should be acceptable.”
Aaron wasn’t willing to give up and played the emotional card.
