"Not at all." Makino smiled brightly, then turned to Red Rabbit, who had already settled down in the shade to read the newspaper. "Mr. Red Rabbit, see you later!"
Knowing Red Rabbit wouldn't respond, Makino didn't linger and turned to leave.
Xia Yu didn't hesitate. He picked up the fishing rod and began his fishing journey in the world of pirates.

Just as he pulled the rod, it snapped with a sound.
Then, the surface of the sea suddenly rose at an alarming rate.
The next second, a muffled boom echoed, and the towering water, like a tsunami, exploded. A monstrous sea beast with a ferocious face emerged from the surface of the sea, glaring at Red Rabbit and Xia Yu, who were dwarfed like ants by the beast's immense size, with red-glowing eyes.
"Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!!!"
Looking at the huge figure that had burst out of the sea, Xia Yu's eyes widened. Looking at the fishing line caught in the beast's mouth, he exclaimed in disbelief, "This is… the Near Sea King?!"
The one that Red Rabbit had hooked was none other than the small Sea King that appeared in the original story, the one that bit off future Emperor Shanks' arm and swallowed the mountain bandit leader who dared to hit Shanks with a wine bottle.
"Roar!"
