Chapter 1
A Ticket to Azkaban

July 26th, 1991.

Surrey, Stans, Thames River, a luxurious villa on the second floor.

Facing the morning sun, Ethan Adrian sat on the edge of the bed, his eyes slightly vacant as he looked at the envelope in his hand.

Just now, Ethan, who had just woken up and hadn't fully recovered, heard a rapid knocking sound from the window.

The knocking sound on the second floor, along with the knocking sound from outside, made Ethan realize something. He quickly got up and opened the window, only to see an owl flapping in, clutching a letter in its talons, the same one Ethan was holding now.

The envelope was clearly written with emerald green ink, bearing the detailed recipient address, as well as "Mr. Ethan Adrian" for the recipient.

The back was sealed with a deep red wax, and a shield-shaped emblem composed of a lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake surrounding the letter "H".

This day had finally come!

As a transmigrator, he had even become a third-generation rich kid. He had plans for the future, playing around in finance, doing some stocks, and starting an impart in his spare time, not knowing how happy he would be.

However, fate was against him, this world was not ordinary.

When he was in the second grade of elementary school, after being reassigned to a new class, a guy named Harry Potter joined the class, with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead. During break time, a fat boy named Dudley would come to pick on him.

From that moment on, Ethan understood what kind of world he had come to: Hermione and His Two Great Sons.

After a simple three-second thought, Ethan thought it was fine not to be able to do magic, after all, magic and Muggles were two different societies, couldn't he just avoid them?

Just don't contact them.

But in the month that followed, Ethan experienced a magical surge, proving that he had the potential to be a wizard.

And with the potential to be a wizard, he had to go to school.

Of course, he could choose other magical schools, like Ilvermorny.

But except for the years when Voldemort resurrected, Muggle wizards had a harder time in other magical schools compared to Hogwarts.

"Sigh!"

Sighing, Ethan opened the envelope in his hand with some distress and took out the parchment inside.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore (President of the International Confederation of Wizards, President of the Wizards' Council, First Class Wizard of the Order of Merlin)

Dear Mr. Adrian: We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry…

At the moment Ethan finished reading the acceptance letter, a golden interface suddenly appeared in front of him.

It felt very peculiar, with something appearing in front of him, but it didn't hinder Ethan's vision, he could see everything around him and this interface at the same time.

The interface was very simple, he could see it all at a glance.

Name: Ethan Adrian

Age: 11

Bloodline: Wizard

Talent: Overload Soul (A heavier soul, bringing higher learning efficiency and spell casting speed.) Strong Physique (Improve physical fitness and magical adaptation through exercise.)

Spells: None

Besides his basic information, there was also a red gift box tied with a ribbon in the bottom right corner.

There was no doubt this was his newbie package.

Although this golden finger looked pretty lame, having one was better than nothing.

In that magical world, where bloodlines were paramount and resources were monopolized, it wouldn't be easy to get along without a golden finger. Now, Ethan's mood was quite good.

It was just that he also had talents, which was unexpected for Ethan.

Overload Soul should be a result of his transmigration, he did have a strong learning ability.

Strong Physique should be his physical talent in this lifetime, Ethan was taller and stronger than his peers, and he had always thought it was the result of his dedicated exercise. After all, how could he start an impart without a healthy and strong physique?

But he didn't expect this talent to extend to magic.

Looking at it this way, it seemed like he could have done well even without a golden finger.

The red ribbon gift box, the newbie package.

When Ethan's mind focused on it, a stream of information flowed into his mind.

Newbie Package: 3 random full-level spells, wishing you a smooth magical journey.

Three full-level spells, this package was quite sincere.

The magic in this world was entirely mind-based, each spell wasn't so simple, even the simplest spell, when mastered, could still have extraordinary power.

For example, the Lumos spell could be played like a flashbang, the Reparo spell, when used well, could become a human bomb spell, the Expelliarmus, could make the teeth pierce the head and neck.

This was just the most basic magic, let alone the more advanced ones.

He was definitely a European in this lifetime, his luck couldn't be worse.

As the ribbon in the shape of a bow slowly untied, three golden lights shot up into the sky.

He hit the jackpot, three golden lights in a row, his mouth was about to split with laughter.

As the golden light dissipated, the Spells section on his panel had something new added. Before Ethan could see it clearly, his mouth, which was already about to split with laughter, froze on the spot.

In Ethan's vision, he was no longer in the room, but in a desolate wilderness, filled with pale-faced people.

They were wailing, struggling, rolling on the ground.

From time to time, green light flashed, making the struggling and wailing crowd fall silently.

Some of the crowd were in a daze, with only their unfocused eyes staring at him.

"Crucio!" (Cruciatus Curse)

"Avada Kedavra!" (Avada Kedavra)

"Imperio!" (Imperius Curse)

With the weight of one spell after another resounding in Ethan's mind, his head felt heavy, his eyes were bloodshot, and his whole body was swaying.

After a few minutes, Ethan, who was lying on the bed, sat up again. These three spells had been completely mastered, without the need for a wand, without the need for incantations, it was like an instinct, he could use them at will.

At this moment, the Spells section had also changed.

Spells: Killing Curse (10), Cruciatus Curse (10), Imperius Curse (10)

These spells are powerful, very powerful, Voldemort's favorites!

But he can't use these three spells!

These are the Unforgivable Curses, if you use them on a person, you will have to go to Azkaban, and it will be for life.

Before Ethan could even have time to sigh, the panel jumped up again.

【Falling Into Darkness】

A soul that has fallen into self-indulgence, it has gone further and further down the road of the Dark Arts.

Achievement Goal: Learn the Unforgivable Curses (3/3)

Achievement Reward: Enhance Dark Magic Talent

【I Am Darkness】

Tread on flesh, play with souls, reap life, fall into darkness? No, I am darkness.

Achievement Goal: Unforgivable Curses Max Level (3/3)

Goal Reward: Talent Dark Heart (Enhances Dark Magic talent, using Dark Magic requires no emotional assistance.)

【Hidden Hand】

Unbelievable! You, who appear harmless on the surface, are actually the one hidden deepest.

Achievement Goal: No one knows that you have mastered the Unforgivable Curses (3/3)

Achievement Reward: Use any magic, as long as it's not seen with your own eyes, it won't be noticed by anyone.

"What the hell are you implying?"

Seeing these achievements, Ethan's face was a little stiff, wasn't this saying that he wasn't a good guy?

"Hoo-hoo-hoo!"

The owl's call interrupted Ethan, who was still going crazy.

This made Ethan remember that he still had to write back, of course, he had to prepare some food for the owl first.
