Chapter 4
Conning the Aliens

“You want half of my blood all at once? I’ll die from that, so I can’t agree to your request.” Du Minjun said with a dark expression.

“This is negotiable; I can take a little less. How about ten thousand milliliters? If I take less, I might get angry, you know.” Yang Yu replied with a smile.

“May I ask you a few questions?” After a moment of silence, Du Minjun spoke.

“Go ahead, I’ll answer three questions. Think carefully before you ask; you only have three.” Yang Yu held up three fingers.

“Alright, the first question: who exactly are you?” Du Minjun asked.

“I’m a citizen of the Celestial Empire, didn’t I already tell you that? You wasted a question; you still have two left.” Yang Yu said.

Du Minjun was very dissatisfied with Yang Yu’s answer, but he felt helpless; after all, he couldn’t defeat the other party.

“The second question: when did you discover me? I rarely use my abilities.”

“We knew the moment you arrived on Earth.”

Yang Yu deliberately used “we” to make Du Minjun misunderstand that there were many people like him.

Sure enough, Du Minjun caught on to Yang Yu’s implication.

“The last question: I haven’t harmed anyone in these four hundred years, nor have I ever left the Pickled Vegetable Nation. Why did you come to me, especially when I’m about to leave? Why have I never encountered someone like you in the past four hundred years?” Du Minjun voiced his confusion.

“That’s not just one question. Fine, I’ll indulge your curiosity.”

“First, whether you harm others has nothing to do with us; as long as you don’t come to our Celestial Empire, we won’t bother with you.”

“Second, if you hadn’t been obediently staying in this tiny place, you probably wouldn’t have made it this far. The world is vast, and there are plenty of people who could kill you.”

“Lastly, you’re about to leave, so I can’t let you live on Earth for so many years without paying rent. It’s only fair; after all, this is also a territory of my Celestial Empire.” Yang Yu said with a grin, trying to deceive the alien.

After saying that, Yang Yu looked at Du Minjun, who was already pale from his persuasion.

“Alright, you’ve asked your questions. Isn’t it time to discuss the rent?” Yang Yu said.

“I agree to your terms, but after I give you my blood, will you leave here and not trouble me again?” Du Minjun could only concede.

“Wrong. You leave here first, and then I’ll give you a day to transfer all your assets to my name. I’ll leave you with three months’ living expenses, and I’ll also protect you for free until you leave Earth. No one will bother you. How does that sound? Quite a deal, right?” Yang Yu said shamelessly.

Dammit, if you don’t leave, how can I change Qian Songyi’s fate?

“Fine, I just want to quietly return to my hometown. I agree to your terms, but can you guarantee that no one like you will come to trouble me again?” Du Minjun said uneasily.

“Don’t worry, I promise I’ll make it happen. I’m a person of my word.” Yang Yu continued to deceive him.

With just one zombie, if I don’t trouble you, who else could possibly defeat you? What a fool. Yang Yu chuckled inwardly.

“I’ll have Lawyer Zhang handle the house and property tomorrow, but how do I give you the blood? Should I just bleed out?” Du Minjun had completely resigned himself.

“I can take the blood myself.”

After saying that, Yang Yu transformed into a zombie, his green eyes and two sharp zombie fangs bared as he bit into Du Minjun’s neck.

(Just sucking blood doesn’t turn someone into a zombie; it depends on whether Yang Yu wants it or not. If he doesn’t want to, the other person won’t become a zombie.)

Yang Yu wouldn’t let this alien become a zombie; he was already powerful enough, and turning him into a zombie would only give him the strength to deal with Yang Yu.

Yang Yu didn’t expect to complete the first task so easily.

This alien was practically a gift.

After sucking enough blood, Yang Yu released Du Minjun, and the first task was completed so simply. As long as Du Minjun knew his place, sparing his life was no big deal; it was already insignificant.

If Du Minjun didn’t know his place and disturbed Yang Yu’s plans to change Qian Songyi’s fate, he could easily eliminate him.

Looking at Du Minjun, who was pale and slumped on the ground, Yang Yu didn’t bother with him anymore.

“Once you’ve rested, you can leave on your own. Find a quiet place to spend these three months, but you’d better not leave the Pickled Vegetable Nation; otherwise, I can’t guarantee your safety.” Yang Yu said casually.

After that, Yang Yu disappeared from the spot. He wandered around and realized he didn’t understand the Pickled Vegetable language at all. Fortunately, he had a photographic memory and found a bookstore to get a few basic textbooks. In just an hour, he learned them.

It seems that this photographic memory is still somewhat useful.

Yang Yu scanned with his mind and found that Du Minjun had already left; as for where he went, Yang Yu didn’t care.
