Chapter 2
The Mission

“Ding!! Congratulations, host, you have drawn the ability of the green-eyed zombie from the 'The Reincarnation' world.”

Although not the most powerful red-eyed one, green-eyed is still good. At least it’s invincible in the 'My Love from the Star' world.

“System, I have 40,000 points left. Show me what’s in the system mall. Is there anything I can buy?” Yang Yu asked.

“Host, you spent 60,000 points for removing the black-eyed and white-eyed options when you drew. You also spent 30,000 points for starting the draw. All hosts only have 10,000 points left,” said the system.

“Why does the rental draw require points? It wasn’t part of the system’s rewards. You didn’t mention that,” Yang Yu said with dissatisfaction.

These were points he had earned with great difficulty. He had to get clarification.

“The first time the host chooses is free. Since you don’t have enough points, the opportunity has been wasted. If the host is not satisfied, the system can take back the rental ability and return the points,” the system stated mercilessly.

Yang Yu thought about it and decided to forget about it. Without the rented ability, he wouldn’t be able to survive. He had to accept it.

“So what can I buy with 10,000 points? Do you have any good suggestions, system brother?” Yang Yu asked.

“Host, you can use the 10,000 points to eliminate the side effects of being a zombie,” the system said.

“So, I can eat whatever I want without having to drink blood?” Yang Yu asked.

“Yes, just 10,000 points. It’s a good deal.”

“Alright, I’ll buy it.”

.........

“Ding!! Now starting to release the mission.”

“Main mission: Collect luck. Kill the alien, reward 100,000 points.”

“Or let the alien voluntarily give the host 10,000 ml of blood, reward 200,000 points and all the alien’s abilities (choose one). Failure will result in death.”

“Main mission 2: Change Cheon Song Yi’s fate. If the heroine chases the host, double the points rewarded.”

“Side mission: Disrupt the original storyline. The more chaotic, the better the completion reward.”

Mission release completed, beginning to travel…

Yang Yu lost consciousness instantly. When he regained consciousness, he found himself in a small, dark place.

“System, where am I? How long until the plot starts? Is there a time limit for this mission?” Yang Yu asked immediately after regaining consciousness.

“Mission time is one year. The plot will start in one day. As a zombie, you are naturally in a coffin.” The system said.

“Remind the host, the rented ability will be taken back by the system once you leave this world.”

“Wish the host a pleasant journey and hope you complete the mission soon. Goodbye.”

The system disappeared again...

Yang Yu exerted a little force and smashed the coffin, sitting up from inside.

He silently felt his own strength, taking two hours to adapt to his zombie power.

He began to look around. It was an ancient tomb. He didn’t know who it belonged to, and he wasn’t interested. It wasn’t like he was in a tomb-robbing world. He took a few glances and grabbed two burial objects, as he would need money later. He couldn’t rely on his abilities to rob, he couldn’t do something so cheesy.

With a casual punch, he smashed the top of the tomb. Yang Yu jumped out immediately.

He tested his telekinesis, finding its limit to be about 500 miles in radius. Beyond that, his head started to hurt. This telekinesis was pretty impressive.

Yang Yu sat down on his butt, his face turning pale from exhaustion.

He started to consider how to complete the mission. With his current strength, killing that alien professor shouldn’t be difficult.

But if he did that, wouldn’t he miss out on the alien’s unique abilities?

He was still envious of the alien’s special abilities.

Since the system had given him two options, he would try the more difficult one first. If it didn’t work, he could kill the alien later.

The plot hadn’t started yet, Cheon Song Yi and the alien didn’t know each other.

As long as he prevented the alien professor from meeting Cheon Song Yi, his second mission shouldn’t be too difficult.

Yang Yu teleported to South Korea. He remembered that the alien professor lived near the SBS television station. He scanned the area with telekinesis and found Do Min Joon’s residence. Cheon Song Yi hadn’t moved in next door yet.

Yang Yu chuckled, thinking of a brilliant idea to tease the alien first.

He arrived at the entrance of Do Min Joon’s house and politely rang the doorbell.

Do Min Joon, the friendless alien, was surprised. He only knew Zhang lawyer. Why was there a stranger at his door?

Though surprised, Do Min Joon didn’t think much of it. He opened the door, his face expressionless.

“Who are you? What do you want?”

“I think you should understand me when I speak Chinese, right? First, let me introduce myself. My name is Yang Yu. I’m from the great nation of China. As for why I’m here, I’m here to collect rent,” Yang Yu said with a smile.

Do Min Joon switched to Chinese and said: “I think you’ve got the wrong person. I bought this house myself. I didn’t rent it.”

He was about to close the door.
