Chapter 15
The Strange Auto-Soldiers

As the youngest child of the Landau family, Ling Ke naturally received the most attention from the family.

Ling Ke was not an unreasonable child.

It was just that she felt this care was a little too heavy...

Perra, standing beside her, couldn't help but smile wryly at Ling Ke.

Perra could understand Ling Ke's thoughts, but compared to understanding, she, a motherless child, was somewhat envious of the family atmosphere Ling Ke enjoyed...

Just as Perra was about to speak, she suddenly felt a wave of violent energy.

Perra turned her head abruptly, then stood up, staring sternly at the monster before her.

Ling Ke also turned around instantly, and when she saw the monster, she couldn't help but be stunned, unconsciously muttering:

"Interdimensional creature?!"

Perra nodded solemnly, then stood directly in front of Ling Ke.

Looking at the huge, crimson monster, radiating heat like molten lava, with deep red claws, Perra's hands trembled uncontrollably.

As an intelligence officer for the Silvermane Iron Guard, Perra naturally couldn't possibly be unfamiliar with this creature...

Outer Cosmos Flame!!

This level of creature was considered quite powerful even among interdimensional creatures...

There were only her and Ling Ke present. Although both were Pathfinders, if they really fought, they might not be able to win...

While thinking, Perra's gaze on the monster also became sharp.

Ling Ke, looking at Perra facing off against the monster, couldn't help but feel a little panicked.

Although Ling Ke had dealt with interdimensional monsters often in the wild, she also clearly knew that neither Perra nor herself was a match for this Outer Cosmos Flame.

Thinking about it, Ling Ke couldn't help but feel a little self-blame.

If she hadn't insisted on inviting Perra out camping, perhaps this wouldn't have happened.

During the standoff, the Outer Cosmos Flame suddenly roared at them.

Then, a huge fireball began to condense above its head.

Perra felt something was wrong, just as she was about to pull Ling Ke aside to dodge.

Another mechanical voice entered their ears.

"Observed target in danger, no time to delay, go, Aksia!"

Accompanied by a mechanical voice, in the next moment.

A beautiful elf, with long ears, standing on all fours, with a blue-purple body, bony back and tail, appeared before them.

Almost instantly, the beautiful elf merely glanced at the Outer Cosmos Flame.

The Outer Cosmos Flame, under the watchful eyes of Ling Ke and Perra, was instantly frozen in mid-air, even the fireball it had just condensed extinguished immediately!

The entire process took less than a second...

Perra and Ling Ke hadn't even reacted, and in their eyes, the powerful Outer Cosmos Flame was already completely frozen in the ice block, falling to the ground...

Perra stared dumbfounded at what was happening, her eyes widened slightly.

As an intelligence officer for the Silvermane Iron Guard, her knowledge of interdimensional creatures was definitely top-notch among Belobog citizens...

Logically, if this god-like quadruped creature had directly killed the Outer Cosmos Flame, Perra wouldn't have been surprised.

But she hadn't expected that an Outer Cosmos Flame, a creature radiating thousands of degrees of heat, could be frozen?!

And it had done so in a flash!

Perra felt like her brain wasn't working properly at this point.

Generally, as an intelligence officer, Perra felt she had read enough books and knew a lot about Belobog's history.

But she had never heard of Belobog having such a god-like creature.

Aksia, after glaring at the Outer Cosmos Flame, turned its gaze towards the two.

Perra immediately stood in front of Ling Ke.

Although she knew she was no match for this strange creature, she couldn't let Ling Ke get hurt.

However, before Perra could say anything, the strange quadruped creature softly chirped.

Perra and Ling Ke were instantly stunned.

Because through the Empathic Beacon, they heard -

"Don't worry, you're safe..."

Ling Ke, shocked, covered her wide-open mouth, countless doubts flashing in her eyes.

"Speaking human language, effortlessly crushing the Outer Cosmos Flame, protecting humans...

Are the mythical stories of Belobog not lies?"

Perra couldn't help but feel confused at this point.

The being before them was like a mythical beast from legends.

Powerful, kind, speaking human language...

This was clearly something only mythical beasts in legends could do.

But how was this possible?

As they were both confused, a robot that looked like an Automaton came running from afar.

"Thank goodness, everyone's fine."

After seeing that both were safe, the Sel's Officer-in-Command breathed a sigh of relief.

Aksia, seeing the approaching Sel's robot, chirped happily and then returned to its elven capsule.

Then, the Sel's Officer-in-Command took out his personal Nonon and sent a message.

Meanwhile, Perra and Ling Ke started to observe this strange-looking robot.

"Looks like an Automaton cobbled together from leftover Old World tech, but this Automaton seems to have its own intelligence..."

Perra observed the robot's actions, muttering to herself in her heart.

"Since it can subdue that beast, maybe it's the one who saved us?"

"But why?"

Perra couldn't help but feel a sense of doubt in her heart.

However, Perra was wise enough not to speak, nor to make any rash moves.

Given its capabilities, if it wanted to harm them, it could have easily done so earlier, there was no need to wait until now...

It's better to wait and see than to make random movements and provoke it.

Perra thought to herself.

Ling Ke, after thinking for a long time, didn't say anything, just kept watching...

Soon, this scene didn't last long.

After just a few minutes, Ling Ke and Perra saw a figure in the distance...

The person was already walking fast, and soon arrived in front of them.

"Commander Luochen!"

The robot that subdued the beast saluted the human man in front of him, solemn and serious.
