Half an hour later,
Xia Tian returned to the villa with several bags of dog food. He couldn't bring the larger items, like the dog house, so he had the shop deliver them. He also brought back a two-month-old Akita Shiba Inu.
A classic red Shiba, the same breed as the puppy that Xiao Bei Chang Tan encountered later.
The little guy was as fat as a piglet, and a single step could get stuck on his bottom.
Xia Tian opened the gate to the courtyard and saw Xiao Bei Chang Tan sitting on a small stool, intently watching the tricycle in the garage, not blinking.
Hearing the noise, Xiao Bei Chang Tan turned his head abruptly,
and breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Xia Tian.
"Tan Tan, I'm back!" Xia Tian said with a smile.
"Brother, welcome back."
Xiao Bei Chang Tan ran towards Xia Tian on his short legs,
"Slow down, take a look at this."
Seeing the little Shiba Inu Xia Tian was holding, the little guy's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Wow~ so chubby~ a little doggy~"
Xiao Bei Chang Tan reached out his small hand to touch it.
The Shiba Inu, as if knowing this was its future owner, stuck out its tongue and licked Bei Chang Tan's palm.
Xiao Bei Chang Tan was even happier to get a response.
"Tan Tan, do you like this doggy?"
"Like it~ Brother, what's the doggy's name?"
"You can name it, and you'll be in charge of guarding our house!"
"The doggy is chubby, so it'll be called Rice Bowl."
After pondering for a while, Xiao Bei Chang Tan happily blurted out a name, then rubbed the dog's head, quite satisfied.
"Rice Bowl, Rice Bowl, from now on, you're called Rice Bowl."
The dog kept rubbing against Xiao Bei Chang Tan, seeming to like the name too.
Xia Tian watched with a smile as Xiao Bei Chang Tan interacted with the dog in the front yard. The sounds of their laughter added a lot of life to the empty villa.
It was obvious that the little guy truly liked the puppy. He even brought it along when he ate, and used his old wooden bowl as a dog bowl.
"Woof woof woof~"
"Is Rice Bowl hungry?"
"Woof woof woof! Woof woof woof!"
The little dog wagged its tail, seemingly talking to Xiao Bei Chang Tan.
The little guy touched it, then turned to Xia Tian, "Brother~ what does Rice Bowl eat? Should I share my food with it?"
Xia Tian smiled and patted Xiao Bei Chang Tan's head, "If there's leftover food, you can feed it a little, but with our situation, Rice Bowl can only eat dog food."
Seeing the male owner pouring the dog food into the small wooden bowl, the dog finally stopped barking and gently rubbed against Xia Tian's leg.
"Rice Bowl, eat!"
The dog responded with two woofs, then devoured the food in the bowl.
Xiao Bei Chang Tan squatted next to it. Seeing the scattered dog food, he became interested.
It smelled milky and delicious. Rice Bowl was eating so happily that he was getting hungry too.
"Rice Bowl~ your food smells so good, can you give me one?"
The dog, busy eating, was clearly taken aback. He pushed the small wooden bowl towards Bei Chang Tan with his paws, "Woof woof woof!"
He was telling Bei Chang Tan not to be polite.
Not only was he not possessive of his food, he was also afraid that his little master would be hungry.
Xiao Bei Chang Tan showed a big smile. He somehow understood what Rice Bowl meant.
He then reached out his little hand to grab the dog food. Seeing the little guy was about to put it in his mouth, Xia Tian quickly came over.
"Tan Tan, you can't eat this!"
Xiao Bei Chang Tan looked puzzled. In his understanding, if a small animal can eat it, he can too.
"Dog food is specially made for dogs. We're humans, we can't eat it."
Xiao Bei Chang Tan was confused, "Brother, why can't we eat the doggy's food?"
"It has additives. Dogs can eat it, but if we eat it, we won't digest it. You've seen duck mothers eating mud, right? It's the same principle." Xia Tian explained to Xiao Bei Chang Tan using an example.
"Oh!"
After that explanation, Xiao Bei Chang Tan understood. But he was still a little reluctant to let go of the dog food in his hand.
It smelled so good, he wanted to taste it.
"Tan Tan, be good, go wash your hands. We're going to eat too."
"Okay~ Brother, I'm coming right now~"
Xia Tian shook his head with a smile,
This little guy wants to try everything.
Maybe he hasn't fed her enough, haha.

As the night passed,
another day arrived.
With the ingredients ready, Xia Tian once again drove his tricycle at "lightning speed" towards the Soubu High School.
Today, he brought his left and right protectors - Xiao Bei Chang Tan on the left, and the little Shiba Rice Bowl on the right. They turned heads wherever they went.
To cater to his student customers, he deliberately arrived 20 minutes early today. However, he found a long line already formed at the school gate.
Upon closer inspection,
he saw they were all students wearing school uniforms. Tsumabuki Taihei, in his suit, was sandwiched in the middle of the student crowd, looking small, pitiful, and helpless.
Xia Tian was dumbfounded. How come his target audience suddenly changed?
The first day only had one student, the second day was half and half, and the third day was just a salaryman.
"He's here! He's here! The boss is here with his buns!"
"Move aside, move aside, don't block the way!"
"Boss, hurry up, I'm starving!"
"I didn't even have breakfast, I just ran here, waiting for the boss to feed me."
Hearing everyone's shouts, Xia Tian couldn't help but laugh.
Who said Japanese people are cold and unapproachable? They're quite enthusiastic, aren't they? They're all eagerly waiting to be fed, how can they be called cold?
