Chapter 46
To Haishi, the Third Saint Mother of Mount Hua?

Ao Qing was being teased on the face by Xiao Qing's hair.

He felt a bit itchy and slowly opened his eyes.

What met his gaze was a sea of white; Xiao Qing was propped up on her elbows, twirling her hair to amuse him.

She was just full of playful spirit.

Completely oblivious to the fact that such actions could lead Ao Qing to instinctively catch something with his mouth.

“Mmm~”

Xiao Qing's face turned red.

“What are you doing? Are we going to the Sea City today?”

Ao Qing rolled over and pinned her down.

“The Sea City only appears at night; right now, I have something to do.”

Xiao Qing let out a soft hum, giving Ao Qing a helpless yet charming glare.

……

A golden flying boat was darting through the high skies.

The flying boat had two levels.

The upper level was filled with beautiful women, as Ao Qing had brought all his lovely companions.

The lower level housed the group from Lingyin Temple.

Except for the Dragon Subduing Monk, who was still asleep in the cabin.

Everyone else had come up to the deck.

The abbot, Yuan Kong, stayed behind to handle temple affairs, so he did not join them.

Guang Liang and Bi Qing were a bit afraid of heights, huddled together, trembling as they looked down.

Zhao Bin and Chen Liang, one wielding a sword and the other carrying a bow, each held a jug of wine, drinking heartily while gazing at the vast sea of clouds and the brilliant sun.

Ao Qing went over to check on the Dragon Subduing Monk's condition.

The good news was that his injuries had not worsened, and he was temporarily out of life-threatening danger.

The bad news was that if they waited for him to recover on his own, it might take until the next lifetime.

However, the opening of the Rakshasa Sea City was imminent.

Ao Qing reassured the people from Lingyin Temple to relax and wait.

After watching Ji Gong, Ao Qing returned to the upper level.

As soon as he went up, he was greeted by a flurry of colorful skirts and the sweet scent of cosmetics.

“Why did you turn off the formation?”

Ao Qing glanced at the control panel of the flying boat.

Someone had disabled the wind protection formation, causing everyone on the deck to face the strong winds from above while enjoying the view.

A girl in a light yellow dress, Hua Yun, smiled and raised her hand.

“I did it, so everyone could feel what it's like to fly.”

Among the women present,

Jin Se was once a celestial maiden from the heavens.

Xiao Bai and Xiao Qing were both accomplished snake demons.

Hua Yun was a dragon.

Only Xie Gu, who had changed into a sky-blue outfit, along with Jiang Xue and Xiang Yu, were unable to fly.

Xie Gu was actually an ordinary person.

Her father, the Golden Dragon King, was a deity transformed from a mortal.

Xie Gu had only learned some simple spells from her family, but she couldn't fly at all.

Usually, she relied on water-based spells for travel and had never flown before.

Jiang Xue and Xiang Yu, the two little fairies, were even less capable.

They didn't know any spells and were currently holding each other's hands, too scared to open their eyes, looking frightened.

Ao Qing understood that their current state was partly due to their fear of heights and partly due to their apprehension towards the women around them.

Since leaving Laoshan, they had been living in the Dragon Lord Temple and had never met other women; it was natural for them to feel nervous on their first encounter.

Ao Qing winked at the other girls, cleared his throat, and drew Jiang Xue and Xiang Yu's attention to his arrival.

He wrapped his arms around the two from behind, holding their equally cold hands.

Ao Qing gently channeled his inner energy to the two of them.

“Don't be afraid; they are all your sisters. The one who just spoke is Hua Yun; she's very cheerful and warm-hearted.”

After introducing everyone, Jiang Xue and Xiang Yu's emotions eased significantly.

Xiang Yu, with a red nose, gently bumped her forehead against Ao Qing's.

“If you were a tree, you would definitely be a big banyan tree.”

Xie Gu, standing beside Hua Yun, asked what that meant.

Hua Yun lazily stretched her arms.

“It means your husband has many legs and is stepping on many boats.”

Jiang Xue looked around, gently shrinking away from Ao Qing's embrace, and whispered:

“There are too many people; don't show favoritism.”

Xiang Yu turned her head and glared at her.

It's precisely because there are many people that they should let their husband show favoritism, right?

If he doesn't, who knows how they might be bullied later?

Wood is just wood; truly clueless.

Ao Qing knew that these two were used to being alone and didn't force them to get along with the others immediately.

Just then, the sky began to darken, and the orange sun hung between the sea and sky.

Ao Qing lowered the flying boat, and in front was a magnificent sunset glow.

In the midst of countless rays of sunset.

A city formed by countless sunken ships slowly rose.

Streams of light passed by the flying boat, and among those lights were the celestial cultivators coming to visit the Sea City.

Some were stepping on swords, some riding clouds, and others transformed into rainbow lights.

Before long, the flying boat landed.

A massive, towering city appeared before everyone.

With a soft pop,

Endless flames ignited from every corner of the city, and in an instant, the entire city was illuminated.

Everyone was left in awe.

The people from Lingyin Temple stared blankly, unable to utter a word as they gazed at the gigantic city.

Ao Qing clapped his hands and laughed:

“Don't be dazed; someone is here to greet us.”

As he spoke, a figure in red and gold armor dashed across the street, waving at Ao Qing from afar.

“Qing Di!”

Ao Qing smiled and rushed over, spreading his arms to embrace the leaping girl.

“Sister Ting Xin, I came to see you.”

Ao Ting Xin reached out and playfully flicked Ao Qing's nose, teasing:

“Came to see me? Or came to get pills?”

Ao Qing was not embarrassed and extended his hand to introduce:

“The women above are all my concubines, oh right, Jin Se is not.”

On the upper deck, Jin Se shot Ao Qing a glare, looking helpless.

Ao Qing ignored her and pointed below.

“These are the disciples and apprentices of the Dragon Subduing Arhat; the Arhat is gravely injured and unconscious in the cabin.”

Ao Ting Xin listened quietly, smiling as she led everyone toward the center of the giant city.

“Since they are all your friends, Qing Di, just have fun here for the next few days; I'll cover the expenses.”

“As for the pills you wanted, the alchemist from the Dragon Palace is currently refining them, and they should be ready in a day or two.”

Ao Qing accompanied Ao Ting Xin, listening to her gentle voice as she spoke.

Suddenly,

his peripheral vision caught a glimpse of a blue figure.

When he turned to look, he only saw the hem of a skirt disappearing around the corner.

Ao Ting Xin also noticed and covered her mouth with a light laugh.

“Good brother, your eyes are sharp.”
