Chapter 17
Cedric and the Weasley Twins

Woo~!

Not long after Wien sat down, the train whistle sounded again, starting punctually at eleven o'clock.

After exchanging names, they started chatting.

Cedric was a quintessential Hufflepuff, kind and enthusiastic.

Learning that Wien was a young wizard born into a Muggle family, he shared a lot of common sense that new Hogwarts students should know.

"Don't be too nervous. The professors at school are all very nice, well, most of them."

Cedric thought of a certain greasy middle-aged Potions professor and quickly added, "What if Wien comes to me for revenge later?"

Next, he introduced Wien to the school's different houses.

Cedric spoke eloquently: "Professor McGonagall, though she may seem strict, is a very reasonable person as long as you pay attention in class and don't disrupt the order. All her anger is directed at Gryffindor students."

"Professor Flitwick is even more interesting. By the way, it's rumored that he has fairy blood, don't discuss his height."

"As for our house's Professor Sprout, she's also a very gentle lady. The only taboo is the plants in the greenhouse, she doesn't even care about deducting house points."

"Professor Snape... let's skip him, just stay away from him."

"Wien, do you have any houses you like?"

"Hufflepuff, I think. I've read Hogwarts: A History, Muggle-born wizards are usually sorted there." Wien didn't hide his thoughts and stated his destination.

Between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, he ultimately chose Hufflepuff.

Although outstanding intelligence is the greatest wealth.

But... Hufflepuff's common room is right next to the kitchen!

As long as you want to study hard, knowledge will be within reach no matter which house you are in, but the kitchen won't.

Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are both located in the towers on the top floor of the castle. If he ever gets hungry, Wien will have to go all the way to the basement to find food, which is too inconvenient.

Hearing this, Cedric was visibly happier.

"That's a wise choice. I can guarantee your school life will be incredibly happy, because Hufflepuff is the best house!"

"We can't let those words go unheard!"

A teasing voice came from the doorway, and the compartment door opened, two young wizards walking in one after another.

They looked exactly alike, both with fiery red hair, and even their facial expressions were indistinguishable.

"Fred, George." Cedric greeted them awkwardly, "Long time no see."

He didn't say anything bad about other houses, but being praised for his house being overheard still made him a little embarrassed.

"Ah!"

One of the twins spread his arms wide, his expression exaggerated.

"Let me see who this is?"

The other immediately took over: "You idiot! You don't even know him!"

"This is Mr. Diggory, the top student in the whole year for two years running, the model student in the eyes of all teachers and parents!"

The two of them were like a stand-up comedy routine, one after the other. Wien watched with amusement, while Cedric, as the person involved, felt his ears turn red and wished he could find somewhere to hide.

He quickly grabbed the two who were about to say something more, gritting his teeth and whispering: "What are you two trying to do? Give me some face in front of the underclassman!"

Yes, Cedric had also determined that Wien was highly likely to go to Hufflepuff, and naturally, he wanted to maintain his image.

"Cut it out." Fred rolled his eyes, "Now you care about face, it's because your dad bragged about your grades in front of our mum."

"You know how hard it was for me and George to get through this summer!"

Cedric sighed in distress, releasing Fred's sleeve. It was his fault.

Who told his dad to brag about his son's grades to everyone he met? Now the whole Ministry of Magic knew that a genius young wizard had emerged from the Diggory family.

"Alright, how can you let me go?" Cedric asked resignedly.

The twins looked at each other and excitedly slapped each other's hands.

Plan successful.

"Hand over your summer homework, we'll collect it before class tomorrow."

"We've been looking for you for half a month, but you've been out of the house. Mum said you went to America to become a vampire, is it true?"

"Of course it's not true." Cedric retorted angrily, taking his bag from the luggage rack and handing the homework to the two.

After getting their things, the twins had no intention of leaving.

The Diggory family and the Weasley family both lived in the same village, separated by a mountain, but they were considered neighbors.

Therefore, even though they weren't in the same house, they were quite familiar with each other.

At this time, they finally had time to look at Wien.

"Hi, I'm Fred Weasley, this is George Weasley." Fred introduced himself, then gave a thumbs-up, "You're really good-looking, much better than our brother, he's also a first-year this year."

George added, "Red hair, full of freckles, that's our brother Ron. Hope you get sorted into Gryffindor, that's the best house."

Wien didn't agree or disagree, "Everyone will brag about their own house, but I don't think there's much difference."

With the twins present, the compartment instantly became much livelier.

These two had a unique charm, even when they were loud and boisterous, they wouldn't make people feel annoyed.

Except for those who were the targets of their pranks.

But they wouldn't randomly prank Wien.

Firstly, they had just met, they weren't that familiar yet. Secondly, Wien hadn't even started school yet, there wasn't much satisfaction in bullying a kid.

The train's speed increased, and after a while, the trolley witch pushed her cart over.

Wien bought Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Fizzing Whizbees, Chocolate Frogs, and a few pumpkin pasties.

It only cost him ten Sickles and six Knuts.

The train departed at eleven, and it was already evening when they arrived at Hogwarts. This was both his snacks and lunch.

The trolley witch placed the items on the table, and Wien invited them to eat together, don't be shy.

Cedric and the twins couldn't refuse, so they had to eat with him.

But this also quickly brought Wien closer to the three of them.

The twins, in perfect harmony, were ready to power up Wien.

Cedric sensed something different and wanted to stop those two guys.

But hearing George's question, his face became strange.

"Wien, do you know? You're not actually a real Hogwarts student yet."

"You only become a real student after passing a rigorous test."
