Chapter 23
Plans Never Go as Expected

Plans never keep up with changes.

Originally, Jiang Tian Zheng was planning to make a move on Tuen Mun this month, but something unexpected happened.

"Mr. Jiang, something happened in Macau."

Early in the morning, Chen Yao came to see Jiang Tian Zheng with a serious expression.

"What happened?"

Jiang Tian Zheng looked at Chen Yao and asked.

"Our Hong Xing's casino in Macau was cleared out by that guy Sang Biao..." Chen Yao reported in detail.

Macau is a gambling city.

There are over a dozen legitimate casinos controlled by the major local gangs and families.

Outside gangs simply cannot get in, it's like trying to push water or stab a needle through a thick cloth.

Perhaps, they also know that if they keep outsiders out, it will cause problems.

So, Macau has a few non-legitimate casinos.

Macau police will occasionally raid these casinos, but most of the time, they turn a blind eye.

These non-legitimate casinos are controlled by small local Macau gangs, and they also allow gangs from outside to participate.

Hong Xing partnered with a small leader of the 14K in Macau, a guy named Sang Biao, to run a small casino.

This casino isn't very big, but it brings Hong Xing over 100 million in profit each year.

Just yesterday, Sang Biao kicked out all of Hong Xing's people from the casino.

The meaning is clear, he doesn't want to work with Hong Xing anymore.

"What's going on?"

Jiang Tian Zheng frowned and asked.

"I heard that the Wo Shing Wo found Sang Biao and offered him 30% of the profit." Chen Yao reported what he had found out.

Hong Xing's partnership with Sang Biao was facilitated by Jiang Tian Zheng's elder brother, Jiang Tian Sheng. According to their initial agreement, they were to split the profit 50-50.

"No wonder that guy Sang Biao wants to kick Hong Xing out." Jiang Tian Zheng snorted.

So it was the Wo Shing Wo who wanted in.

In Hong Kong, the Wo Shing Wo is no smaller than Hong Xing, and because of its longer history, its status is even higher than Hong Xing.

The key is that the Wo Shing Wo wants less; a 20% difference is more than 20 million a year.

"Mr. Jiang, what should we do now?"

Chen Yao looked at Jiang Tian Zheng and asked.

"We have to fight, but we need to figure out how." Jiang Tian Zheng started to think.

We definitely need to send people to Macau.

That guy Sang Biao cannot be left alive. He must be killed, and the casino must be taken back.

But before that, we need to get the local Macau gangs involved.

The rules of Macau are that whoever runs a casino in Macau has to have a local gang as the main stakeholder.

Right now, Hong Xing is not qualified to break this rule, so we have to do things according to the rules.

"Help me arrange a meeting with the 14K's Ban Dian Bao in Macau." After some thought, Jiang Tian Zheng instructed Chen Yao.

Ban Dian Bao is a small leader of the 14K in Macau, whose strength is less than Sang Biao's.

But it doesn't matter. What Jiang Tian Zheng wants is Ban Dian Bao's 14K identity in Macau.

"Here in Hong Kong, we need to teach the Wo Shing Wo a lesson." Jiang Tian Zheng snorted.

It must have been Deng Pangzi of the Wo Shing Wo who thinks we're easy to bully, so he's causing trouble for Hong Xing.

So, we need to teach the Wo Shing Wo a lesson and let them know that Hong Xing is not someone you can mess with.

"I remember the Wo Shing Wo has five streets of territory in Yuen Long, right?" Jiang Tian Zheng looked at Chen Yao and asked.

"Yes, Mr. Jiang."

Chen Yao nodded and said, "The Wo Shing Wo has five streets of territory in Yuen Long, and it's managed by Da Pu Hei of the Wo Shing Wo."

Chen Yao can be said to know everything about the major gangs in Hong Kong.

"Tell Ah Bu to clear out the Wo Shing Wo's five streets in Yuen Long for me. I'll take those territories." Jiang Tian Zheng's tone was icy cold.

"Mr. Jiang, but Hong Xing's territory in Yuen Long doesn't border that of the Wo Shing Wo." Chen Yao said.

"How far apart are they?" Jiang Tian Zheng frowned slightly and asked.

"One street away, it's the Sun Yee On's territory." Chen Yao answered.

"Sun Yee On!"

After a moment's thought, Jiang Tian Zheng instructed Chen Yao, "Tell Ah Bu to wait for my signal before he makes his move. Also, help me arrange a meeting with the Sun Yee On's Luo Tuo."

"Yes, Mr. Jiang."

Chen Yao nodded in response.

The 14K's Ban Dian Bao is in Macau, while Luo Tuo is in Hong Kong.

...

"Jiang Sheng."

At 8 pm, Jiang Tian Zheng and Luo Tuo sat facing each other in a tea house in Kowloon.

"Mr. Luo."

Jiang Tian Zheng nodded to Luo Tuo.

Luo Tuo's real name is Luo Bing Run, and his nickname is Luo Tuo (Camel).

After some casual conversation, Jiang Tian Zheng got straight to the point. He looked at Luo Tuo seriously and said, "Mr. Luo, I invited you here today because I want to ask you for a street of territory."

"Oh?"

Luo Tuo looked curiously at Jiang Tian Zheng upon hearing this.

Before coming, Luo Tuo was wondering why Jiang Tian Zheng had invited him.

"I want to trade with you for a street of territory in Yuen Long..." Jiang Tian Zheng then started discussing with Luo Tuo about the territory he wanted to trade for.

With Hong Xing's strength, they couldn't fight both the Wo Shing Wo and the Sun Yee On at the same time.

And right now, Jiang Tian Zheng wasn't able to completely control Hong Xing.

"That's no big deal, no problem."

Luo Tuo said with a smile on his face, but in reality, he had already guessed what was going on.

There are very few things in the underworld that can be kept secret.

He had heard about Sang Biao kicking Hong Xing out of Macau and planning to partner with the Wo Shing Wo.

‘I wonder if this will lead to a huge battle between Hong Xing and the Wo Shing Wo.’ Luo Tuo felt a bit of anticipation in his heart.

The fiercer the fight between Hong Xing and the Wo Shing Wo, the happier he would be.

Then the Sun Yee On could just sit back and watch, eventually reaping the benefits.

...

"Come for a walk with me."

After leaving the tea house, Jiang Tian Zheng casually said to Chen Yao.

To be honest, ever since his arrival, Jiang Tian Zheng had never walked the streets of Hong Kong in over a month.

Compared to the current situation in mainland China, Hong Kong is indeed very developed.
