Chapter 33
Two Gods Who Don't Follow!

“Baa-aaah…”

The enormous goat roared with a high-pitched voice, suddenly bringing forth a raging storm.

Another bellow echoed, summoning thunder that crashed down onto the earth. Thankfully, most of the nearby town's buildings were not made of wood, and it was raining, so there was no need to worry about a major fire. This was a stroke of good fortune in this misfortune.

Just then, a powerful gust of wind swept by, and a massive black shadow flickered across the sky.

It seemed as though it was summoned, or perhaps it was in pursuit of something.

“Caw-aaah…”

The monstrous bird's piercing cry assaulted their ears. Elrika looked up into the sky, and this time it was a golden "Phoenix"!

Giant wings glided through the vast, overcast sky, belonging to a colossal bird of prey with golden feathers.

From wingtip to wingtip, it spanned a length of fifty or sixty meters.

The massive bird of prey, powerfully flapping its wings in the air, soared in bold circles, a perfect match for the legendary name "Phoenix."

Each time the newly emerged Phoenix in the sky flapped its wings, a vortex of wind was created.

Strong winds turned into whirlwinds, then into gale-force winds, and then, with a surge of power, transformed into tornadoes.

In a matter of seconds, the wind generated by the wings had unconsciously become a tornado, sweeping across the land.

Objects of all shapes and sizes were lifted into the air. If a powerful tornado were to form right in the center of the bustling streets, it would cause massive destruction, far exceeding the impact of the goat's lightning.

“Thump-thump-thump…”

Meanwhile, a divine white light flashed through the rain and wind.

Elrika saw a sturdy white horse appear before her very eyes, lifelike as if it were real. But the young girl saw the white horse transform into a white light and dash away.

Its speed was so fast, even speeding vehicles couldn't keep up, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

One mythical beast after another appeared, and Elrika knew the situation was serious.

Don't forget, just a single wild boar caused a tremendous catastrophe at the port. Now, there were several mythical beasts converging!

Moreover, there was the even more terrifying Heretic God present.

Could it be that Sardinia was about to witness a war of the gods?

“Hum…”

Finally, in the midst of the thunderous rainstorm, the vehicle managed to navigate to a spacious area.

This was thanks to the maid's driving skills, although it was something that made one want to complain, and the ride was incredibly bumpy.

But, it had to be said, the maid, Eliana, was a skilled driver. She was definitely a veteran behind the wheel!

However, this didn't matter. What was important was that the road ahead was blocked...or rather, the road had become a battlefield, with the terrifying aura deterring any living creatures from approaching.

There was no choice but for the three people in the vehicle to get out.

“Eliana, you should leave first.”

“Yes, Miss. Then, you two masters, I need to find a place to hide quickly. After all, I have absolutely no skills in swordsmanship or magic. I'll be on my way.”

At Elrika's command, the maid immediately took off in her car, a vehicle that was shedding parts left and right, roaring through the storm, leaving a trail of debris and spare parts behind.

“…”

That driving skill was beyond ridiculous. Those so-called racing gods were nothing compared to this, and yet her car hadn't given out for so long.

It was like she had activated a cheat code!

“Come, my sword, Lionheart, the blade that guards the Lion's Jade Throne! Please, protect my chivalry!”

As Elrika stepped out of the vehicle, she instantly changed her attire, exuding a feeling of splendor like flames and gold.

A very brave and strong spirit resided in her beauty and eyes.

Like a top athlete before a competition, her serious demeanor made it difficult to engage in conversation. Elrika began to chant words that sounded like incantations.

Then, the familiar rapier and the red cloak she had seen for the first time appeared from thin air.

The young girl held the sword in her right hand and draped the cloak around her shoulders with a regal flourish.

The cloak was a vibrant red with a few bold black stripes. It was a design that perfectly complemented Elrika's beautiful appearance and golden hair, enough to capture anyone's attention.

The weapon the young girl summoned, though not a divine artifact or a divine implement, was nonetheless a powerful one, with top-tier abilities and attributes.

As the three reached a hillside, they looked out in the distance and saw that the towering giant, in the midst of the storm, had come to a standstill.

Opposite him, in the other direction, a youth like the wind was running with the speed of the wind. The wind around him suddenly started blowing in the opposite direction.

He was a handsome young man with long black hair that reached his shoulders and a slender face!

His eyes were like those that could see the future, and he had a quaint smile like that of a Bodhisattva statue.

It was the mysterious young man who had appeared during the giant wild boar incident.

He was small and not very tall.

Yet, he had a powerful presence. His delicate features gave the impression that he was an inexplicable, non-human being.

This was not a human face; it was simply modeled after a human face.

Therefore, it was a work of art even more beautiful than a human face. The sense of strength emanating from his slender body, the divine aura residing within his beauty.

Although his stature was completely different, and even though there was a distance between them, he had the same aura as Mecar. Such an extraordinary individual, another Heretic God!

The Heretic God, Veleslana!
