But, could the Red Hair Pirates be so easily defeated?
Obviously not.
If the Red Hair Pirates were truly so easy to defeat, they wouldn't be worthy of being called one of the Four Emperors.
As the clay exploded, the Red Hair Pirates reacted swiftly, each deploying their own defensive abilities.
Though the explosion seemed fierce, it did little damage to the Red Hair Pirates.
“Captain, it’s Deidara of the Akatsuki… ”
The Red Hair Pirates finally noticed Deidara in the sky.
“Akatsuki member!? It seems his goal is also to overthrow the World Government... to cause chaos in the world…”
Seeing Deidara in the sky, Shanks furrowed his brow.
He had relied on his overwhelming power to intimidate all the surrounding pirates, preventing the battle from escalating. But, he never imagined that an Akatsuki member would arrive.
In the air, Jiang Yu was surprised to see the Red Hair Pirates easily withstand his clay explosion.
“Blocked it!?... Then try this…”
“Detonating Clay - Little Bird…”
Jiang Yu, holding the clay in his hands, kneaded it, and quickly formed numerous bird-shaped clay figures. He tossed them, sending them flying towards Shanks' crew.
“Be careful, the enemy is attacking…”
“These white creatures will explode, don’t let them touch you…”

The Red Hair Pirates reacted swiftly, quickly dodging the incoming white birds.
But, these white birds seemed to track them, turning and attacking again after the Red Hair Pirates evaded them.
“BOOM... BOOM... BOOM…”
Soon, a series of explosions rang out.
Several members of the Red Hair Pirates, unable to dodge in time, were blown away.
“Damn it… Shanks can’t be defeated like this…”
“We have to stop that guy in the sky…”
Beckman, while firing his flintlock to shoot down the charging clay birds, said to Shanks.
“Leave it to me!…”
Hearing Beckman’s words, Shanks raised his longsword towards Jiang Yu in the sky, slashing with all his might.
“WHOOSH…”
A giant, powerful sword energy erupted, swiftly attacking Jiang Yu. The attack was incredibly fast, leaving Jiang Yu no time to react. By the time he realized it, the slash was already before him.
“Damn!… Quick, dodge…”
Faced with the slash already in front of him, Jiang Yu was shocked. He immediately controlled the clay bird he was riding to dodge, but it was too late. The sharp sword energy tore through the bird’s wings, destroying the clay bird Jiang Yu was standing on.
Fortunately, Jiang Yu had dodged the attack beforehand and wasn’t injured. However, without the clay bird, he plummeted towards the ground.

In the air, Jiang Yu, falling rapidly, reacted quickly, kneading a clay bird with his right hand. He held it in his palm.

After a puff of smoke, the clay bird grew larger, allowing Jiang Yu to land safely on it.
“Close one! This is the strength of a Yonko…?!…”
Jiang Yu thought with a sense of dread.
Although Jiang Yu was currently using the Akatsuki Deidara template and possessed formidable strength, Shanks was one of the Four Emperors, a top-tier power in this world. So, against Shanks, Jiang Yu had to be on his guard.

Upon seeing the gigantic clay dragon, the Red Hair Pirates were immediately on alert.

Under Jiang Yu's control, the clay dragon opened its maw and launched a clay cannonball towards the Red Hair Pirates.

Seeing the massive attack approaching, the Red Hair Pirates scrambled to dodge.

A mighty explosion rang out, the shockwave spreading outwards in a powerful blast. Even the Red Hair Pirates, who had already retreated to a safe distance, were thrown off balance by the powerful force of the explosion.

The moment Deidara's attack ended, Shanks raised his longsword and swung again. A gigantic slash flew towards Jiang Yu in the sky.

As one of the Four Emperors, Shanks’ strength was undeniably powerful. His Haki and swordsmanship were top-notch. However, Jiang Yu was currently in the air, using the clay bird to constantly dodge, making it incredibly difficult, even for someone as powerful as Shanks, to hit him.
