Chapter 22
The Saintess Under Surveillance

“Karavana, what did you find? Is there a ghost here?”

The golden-haired gothic lolita Fallen Angel Mitrutte looked at the stern-faced 御姐 Fallen Angel Karavaro, couldn’t help but show a trace of fear, and looked nervously at the dark church hall illuminated by the moonlight.

“Mitrutte, you are a Fallen Angel after all, is it really appropriate for you to be afraid of ghosts?”

The male Fallen Angel said speechlessly.

“I’m a girl after all, isn’t it normal to be afraid of ghosts?”

The golden-haired gothic lolita Fallen Angel Mitrutte said as a matter of course, and then she looked timid again: “Besides, this abandoned church is the most likely place to produce those evil spirits.”

“Donasik, you go ahead and scout the way, see if there are any evil spirits born in the church in the few days we’ve been gone. I heard that someone died in this church before, which is why it was abandoned.”

“That’s why I told you to watch less horror movies produced in the human world. You are really too embarrassing for a Fallen Angel.”

The male Fallen Angel Donasik could only shake his head helplessly.

They, these Fallen Angels, control the power of light, and they are the nemesis of ghosts.

Besides, Fallen Angels are such noble creatures. It’s embarrassing to be afraid of something that is produced by souls absorbing evil energy.

“Karavana, is there anything wrong?”

Donasik stopped arguing with Mitrutte and looked at the 御姐 Fallen Angel.

“Someone has been to the church.”

Karavana stared at the ground and said: “We used this place as a meeting point, and I specifically cleaned up the place before we left.”

“Karavana, you cleaned the church before to prevent anyone from coming, didn’t you? I didn’t expect you to think of this step, you’re so amazing!”

Mitrutte looked up in admiration.

Seeing Mitrutte’s adoring look, Karavana pursed her lips, as if she had something to say, but in the end she just nodded.

Could she tell the two that she just couldn’t help but clean up because she used to do a lot of cleaning when she was not yet fallen, it had almost become an instinct.

Seeing this messy, abandoned church, she couldn’t help but give in to the genes hidden in her blood, so she started cleaning.

Karavana thought that if she told the truth, the image she had been cultivating might collapse.

To maintain her image, it was better to admit to Mitrutte’s assumption.

“You are really meticulous, Karavana.”

Donasik also praised.

“After all, this isn’t our Fallen Angel’s territory. It’s a good thing to be careful.”

Karavana lowered her head, feeling embarrassed, and didn’t dare to look directly at the two. She pretended to be observing the traces left by outsiders on the ground.

Don’t praise me! Don’t praise me!

If you praise me any more, I won’t be able to take it!

“How about it, Karavana?”

Mitrutte looked at the 御姐 Fallen Angel with interest, as she searched for evidence on the ground.

“Only a few shallow footprints were left. Besides, judging from the traces, it should have been several days ago.”

The 御姐 Fallen Angel said her findings.

“Then what? What happened next?”

Mitrutte’s eyes lit up. This kind of decryption was really able to pique people’s curiosity.

Karavana twitched her lips.

Then?

Then what?

It’s been days, it’s good enough that a few footprints were left.

As for the rest?

Heh!

Ask the ghost!

“It should just be ordinary people. Although it’s an abandoned church, people still come here from time to time.”

Donasik also looked at the few footprints on the ground. There was nothing special about them. There were no other traces left in the church.

Of course.

Installing a bug doesn’t require any magic, just a few pieces of listening equipment.

This can actually fool the Fallen Angel’s senses.

“That’s probably the case.”

Karavana adjusted her mood and kept a straight face.

“What a bummer, I thought there would be something fun. It was just an ordinary person, I got so excited for nothing.”

Mitrutte complained.

“It looks like you two are really relaxed. I told you to get things done, did you get it done?”

A woman’s voice came from the sky. A Fallen Angel dressed very revealingly, wearing only a bikini, with a very hot figure, descended from the sky and landed at the entrance of the church.

“Linaly-sama.”

The three turned around and said in unison.

“How is Europe going?”

Linaly walked with a seductive gait. Her majestic chest trembled as she walked past the three, strolled into the church, without a care in the world, sat down on the bench, then smiled at the three.

“That lost priest, Fried·Selzer, has already signed a contract with us and is willing to become our subordinate.”

Donasik answered calmly.

According to the Fallen Angels’ information.

This lost priest named Fried·Selzer became a genius exorcist at the age of thirteen, and he had made tremendous achievements in eliminating demons and monsters one after another, but he didn’t even spare his own people. His faith was non-existent from the very beginning. What he had was only an antagonistic attitude towards monsters and a desire to kill, as well as an abnormal obsession with combat.

It was because of this distorted personality that Fried was expelled from the church and could not use the power of light.

It was also because of this that they, the Fallen Angels, were willing to travel all the way to Europe to sign a contract with this lost priest.

“Just him?”

Linaly raised an eyebrow.

“And the exorcist team he led before, they are all willing to follow Fried and become our affiliates.”

Karavana added.

“Where is he then? Didn’t he come with you?”

Linaly didn’t sense the presence of the lost priest and his followers.

“Hi! Linaly-sama, I, Mitrutte, will answer this question.”

Mitrutte raised her hand and Linaly nodded.

“Fried wants to persuade a saint expelled by the church to come to our side, as a token of his joining us.”

Mitrutte explained: “He is still trying to persuade the saint and is forging some documents so that the saint can leave the country.”

“A saint? Aren’t there countless saints in the church?”

Linaly sneered: “Besides, a saint who was expelled by the church doesn’t seem to have any value.”

If it were a current saint, she might be interested.

After all, as Fallen Angels, they love to see those devout followers in the church become corrupted.

But a saint who was expelled by the church doesn’t have any value for observation.

“Linaly-sama, this saint is a bit different.”

Karavana spoke up.
