Chapter 6
We Can Finally Move

“What? Nezha was cut down by Shi Ji with a single sword?” Shi Hao looked at his elder sister in shock, never imagining that his unintentional spoiler had altered the course of the Investiture of the Gods storyline.

But soon, he asserted resolutely, “We must move. Nezha won’t die that easily.”

Seeing that she couldn’t dissuade Shi Hao, Shi Ji could only sigh helplessly, “Where do you want to move to, little brother?”

“Ideally somewhere near a Saint's domain. Let’s check out Shouyang Mountain, the headquarters of the Ren Sect, first. If that doesn’t work out, then Kunlun Mountain.”

“Hmph. Why not go to my sect’s Jinao Island?”

Shi Hao shook his head, “Are you kidding? The last stage of the Investiture of the Gods calamity almost wiped out the Jie Sect. Are you trying to get yourself killed by moving to Jinao Island?”

Shi Ji: ???

“Impossible. The Jie Sect is thriving, its fortune and destiny are at their peak. How could it possibly fall so easily?”

Shi Hao continued, “Precisely because the Jie Sect has too many disciples, and they are of varying quality. The Jie Sect doesn’t have a treasure to suppress its destiny. The Saint Tongtian plans to use ten thousand immortals to stabilize its fortune, but this also means that the sect shoulders the karma of all its disciples. When the calamity arrives, it’s not something you can escape by shutting yourself off from the world. For example, Shi Ji, if I hadn't said anything, you might already be on the list now. So sister, you should leave the Jie Sect and run away with me. Otherwise, with your cultivation level, if you die, you won’t even be on the list. You’ll just turn into dust.”

Shi Ji’s face changed drastically. She didn’t believe it, but remembering Shi Hao’s previous predictions were incredibly accurate, could the Jie Sect truly be doomed?

“Elder sister, I’ve already sold most of my assets. I’ll find a way to handle the rest. Just bring me with you.”

“Little brother, I have something to attend to back at the sect. As for the relocation, I’ll ask Caiyun to help you.” After hearing Shi Hao’s words, Shi Ji had no desire to stay. She couldn’t wait to return to Biyou Palace and ask her Master for clarification.

“Hey, elder sister, you wouldn’t be planning to tell the Jie Sect about this, would you?”

“Little brother, I know what I’m doing.”

Shi Hao felt helpless. Thankfully, he left Caiyun, his disciple, behind. With her around, he could still contact his sister later on.

Even if he told Tongtian, the head of the Jie Sect, that the sect would be destroyed, he wouldn’t believe it. He would just call him a troublemaker. Besides, his sister is just an obscure disciple in the Jie Sect.

Even if he knew the outcome, it would be difficult to change destiny with the calamity pushing forward.

“Senior Uncle, should I use my Sleeve Universe to help you store your belongings?”

Seeing her Senior Uncle picking out vegetables from the garden that seemed to be as good as innate spiritual fruits, Caiyun immediately offered to help.

“No need, I’m almost done.” After picking the last plant, Shi Hao asked his niece to carry it, and they left the yard.

Two hundred feet away, Caiyun discovered that she had regained her spiritual awareness and cultivation. After recovering her power, Caiyun felt relieved. She was just about to bring her Senior Uncle to Shouyang Mountain.

“Wait a minute, let me put this house away first.”

“As expected, Senior Uncle is also a powerful being!” Hearing this, Caiyun wasn’t surprised in the least.

For them, it wasn’t even a big deal to put away a few acres of land, let alone a mountain, in their Sleeve Universes.

Under Caiyun’s gaze, Shi Hao threw out a transparent card?

It was surrounded by special rule barriers, separating it from the entire world. Caiyun’s spiritual awareness couldn’t detect what was inside.

Suddenly, the card emitted a dazzling light, and the energy contained within the barrier exploded, like an invisible giant hammer, smashing down forcefully. With it as the center, everything turned into a flat, two-dimensional plane.

But the dimensional collapse seemed to be limited to a radius of one kilometer. Everything inside twisted and deformed violently, like a two-dimensional scroll, before being folded back into a card.

“It’s not like a Sleeve Universe, and it’s not like the Mount and River Chart's storage method. What kind of technique did Senior Uncle use?” Caiyun was full of wonder.

“Haha, it’s too complicated for you to understand.”

When everything was done, the card returned to Shi Hao’s hand.

“Niece, let’s go.” Shi Hao was quite proud, seeing the cultivators stunned by his technique.

That was a controllable storage-type two-dimensional membrane. It could store everything within a one-kilometer radius by reducing it to two dimensions. It was a reward Shi Hao received from his daily sign-in. It was considered a relatively practical treasure.

It wasn’t a treasure from the cultivation side, but a true scientific product from the technology side.

If it was an attack-type two-dimensional membrane, it could even collapse the entire universe’s dimension into two dimensions. It was a terrifying weapon.

In the past ten years, Shi Hao had only received six or seven cards through his daily sign-in system.

“Yes.”

Caiyun recited a spell, and they instantly ascended to the clouds tens of thousands of feet high.

Experiencing the flying and teleporting abilities of the cultivation world for the first time, Shi Hao immediately grabbed Caiyun’s arm.

The sky was filled with immortal energy, mingling with the white clouds, making it feel like a fairyland.

Shi Hao was awestruck by the magnificent scenery, even seeing many divine mountains rising above the clouds, more than ten thousand feet high.

“啾!”

Suddenly, a sharp eagle cry came from above. Shi Hao felt like the sky had turned dark.

Looking up, he saw a massive bird demon looming in the sky. It had emerald green feathers like jade, it was incredibly majestic and beautiful. Its wingspan stretched out at least hundreds of feet.

“Hmph.”

Caiyun narrowed her eyes, glaring fiercely at the big bird above. She released a slight bit of her aura, scaring the demon cultivator so badly it wished it had two more wings to fly even further away.

After an unknown amount of time, Caiyun stopped above a divine mountain.

“Senior Uncle, we’ve reached Shouyang Mountain. Let’s pick a spot first, then go down. Otherwise, Shouyang Mountain is so vast, it would take forever to find a place.” Caiyun suggested.

“You’re right.”

This was going to be their future residence, so Shi Hao needed to choose carefully.

As expected of the human race’s holy land, Shouyang Mountain had no less than dozens of cave heavens and blessed lands. There were also countless scenic places, but unfortunately, most of them were occupied.

“Senior Uncle, I think the area five hundred miles behind Xuandudong, the Saint’s domain, seems to be unclaimed.”

Seeing the flat land on the mountainside, Shi Hao’s eyes lit up.
