Chapter 19
Nüwa's Curiosity

After returning to the Fire Cloud Cave, Fuxi told them everything without missing a single detail!

Seeing their stunned and shocked expressions, Fuxi found it amusing. His own mood had been the same just a moment ago.

"Unbelievable! Not only did he dare to debate with the Sage Laozi, he even won! I really want to see that letter."

"Speaking of which, who is he exactly? We don't have someone that powerful in the Human race, do we?"

The two of them had thought that his cause and effect with Laozi would only lead to two possible outcomes: either he would be killed by Laozi directly, or perhaps he would catch Laozi's eye and be taken in as a disciple of the Human Religion.

Below the Sages, all are mere puppets!

Especially the Three Sovereigns of their Human race, who were already able to slightly touch upon the level of Sages. They understood even better the might of Sages.

Otherwise, why would the Three Sovereigns have sold Shi Hao to Laozi when he came knocking.

Although a Quasi-Sage and a Sage are only separated by one realm, their strength differs by ten thousand miles.

But who would have thought that the final outcome would surpass the Three Sovereigns' expectations. Laozi actually had no way to deal with Shi Hao.

Out of curiosity about his identity, Xuanyuan even wanted to go out and see Shi Hao, but Shennong stopped him. Deliberately contacting the other party might make him unhappy. Fuxi alone was enough.

Then, Fuxi thought about the request the other party had made. Since he couldn't leave the Fire Cloud Cave, Fuxi used his divine sense to contact his sister Nüwa, who resided in the Nüwa Palace.

"I apologize for disturbing your seclusion, Nüwa. I have a matter I would like to ask your assistance with, Sage."

"Brother, it is rare for you to take the initiative to contact me. Just tell me what it is. There is no need for formality between us."

Although he would not come to the Three Treasures Hall without a purpose, Nüwa was still very happy.

Since her brother had been reborn as a member of the Human race and became one of their Three Sovereigns. Although he had awakened his past life memories, he had almost cut off his ties with her. Even when they did communicate, it was extremely rare.

Last time, for her birthday, she had even gone to the Fire Cloud Cave to see her brother. Even though her brother had been unable to leave the Fire Cloud Cave.

In his eyes, she was only the Sage Nüwa, the Mother Goddess of the Human race, not his sister.

But even after becoming a Sage, in Nüwa's heart, Fuxi was always her brother.

"I... I want to ask the Sage Nüwa to help me look at a friend's fate. To use the power of the Crimson Embroidered Ball to help him find a match."

Fuxi stammered, finally managing to get out his request.

Asking a Sage for help, just for a marriage, Fuxi found it difficult to even say.

"Brother, are you mistaken?" As expected, Nüwa on the other side was also speechless.

"No, he is a member of the Human race named Shi Hao. He has a good relationship with me. He asked me for help, but I can't calculate his fate. Thinking that you have the Crimson Embroidered Ball in your possession, I can only come and ask for your assistance." Fuxi explained.

"Really? With your divination abilities, you can't calculate it?"

With a sweep of her divine sense, Nüwa also received information about Shi Hao's name, appearance, and other details from Fuxi.

When Nüwa began to deduce Shi Hao's origins and background, she quickly discovered that everything about him seemed to have been erased!

"Strange, I can't even deduce and know anything about him."

Although the Primordial God Conflagration had caused the Heavenly Secrets to be chaotic, making it difficult to deduce the future.

But with the means of a Sage to deduce someone's past, there wouldn't be much of a restriction.

As long as the other party wasn't a Sage, or someone similar to the Three Sovereigns, to a Sage, most creatures in the Primordial World wouldn't really have any secrets to speak of.

"Even a Sage can't understand? I wonder what kind of existence he is." The more Fuxi understood, the more he felt the mystery of Shi Hao.

"Humph, I think you're deliberately fabricating him to deceive me. My divine sense just swept through the entire Primordial World, and I couldn't find him." Nüwa gave a light scolding, but she wasn't angry.

"How dare I deceive the Sage Nüwa, he's living behind the Fire Cloud Cave. But it seems like the surroundings can block divine senses, only I didn't expect that even a Sage's divine sense couldn't penetrate it." Fuxi suddenly understood, no wonder the Sage Laozi came to the Fire Cloud Cave to look for Shi Hao that day, it's likely that Laozi couldn't find him either.

"So strange, to be able to block a Sage's divine sense, his cultivation must be extraordinary, perhaps he has already broken through the shackles of a Quasi-Sage. I'm curious, how did you become acquainted with him? It actually made you take the initiative to ask me for help."

"Ahem, it was a matter of fate, I suppose."

He couldn't possibly say it was because of Laozi's mount, the ox, but Fuxi didn't hide anything from Nüwa.

From the strange happenings in the Fire Cloud Cave, Fuxi leaving the Fire Cloud Cave and meeting Shi Hao, being treated to Laozi's mount, Qing Niu, by Shi Hao.

Then Laozi personally came knocking, and he betrayed Shi Hao. Finally, their second meeting, where the other party asked him to help him divine his fate.

When Nüwa heard that the other party had actually treated her brother to Laozi's mount, Qing Niu, her beautiful eyes widened, almost bursting into laughter.

Then she heard that Laozi's senior brother came knocking to debate, and Laozi's senior brother actually lost to the other party. Knowing that among the Six Sages of the Primordial World, Laozi had the highest realm, Nüwa was stunned in disbelief.

If it were from someone else, Nüwa might not believe it, but from her own brother's mouth, it couldn't be false.

Nüwa finally understood why her brother had come to ask her for help in divining his fate, but for someone like him, how could his actions and thinking be like those of ordinary mortals?

"Hearing you say it like that, I'm quite eager to see him." Nüwa was even more curious about what kind of existence he was. He couldn't be a Sage, there would be celestial signs if someone became a Sage.

"Nüwa, you can't." Fuxi thought about Shi Hao's request before they parted, he had wanted Fuxi to introduce his sister to him. If he were to actually see Nüwa, who knew what kind of crazy things he would say.

"What's wrong? You don't want me to see him that much?"

Nüwa was quite puzzled. Only after seeing him could she see something about him.

"It's not that. I'm worried he might say things that are disrespectful to the Sage Nüwa. You know he acts like an ordinary person, and he doesn't know your true identity, it's not strange for him to do something out of line." Fuxi explained.

"I would never mind that. When you meet him again next time, remember to tell me, I'll accompany you."

Nüwa finished speaking, without giving Fuxi a chance to refuse, she immediately cut off the connection with his divine sense.

Fuxi was speechless. You say you don't mind, of course you mind! Didn't you arrange for the Nine-Tailed Fox to harm the current Human Emperor Di Xin? The Shang Dynasty is now shrouded in smoke and haze, all thanks to the Nine-Tailed Fox.

Then Fuxi sighed softly. Unfortunately, he failed to complete Shi Hao's request, and the Sage Nüwa was going to accompany him to see Shi Hao. The other party wouldn't think he was introducing his sister to him, would he.

He could only pray that Shi Hao wouldn't go wild when he saw his sister, otherwise, who knows what kind of mess he would create.
