The Namboma Army...
After receiving the order, Mu Yaozi's men quietly continued their advance through the forest.
Most of this group of Namboma soldiers wore green camouflage uniforms.
Some wore clothes of the local people.
After all, Mu Yaozi's unit was originally from the relatively impoverished Namboma region.
At the same time, they didn't have any decent industries.
They just relied on plunder to replenish themselves.
So not everyone had military uniforms to wear.
But Mu Yaozi's group of Namboma soldiers were well-equipped in terms of weapons.
At the very least, everyone was equipped with rifles, and even a few key members carried rocket launchers and other assault weapons.
The group quietly left the forest outside of Maniu Town and headed towards the Grinding Mill Mountain.
After leaving the forest, Mu Yaozi and his men behaved as normal Federal Government soldiers.
And the impression they gave was similar.
After all, except for their relatively neat uniforms, there wasn't much difference between the Federal Government soldiers and ordinary warlords.
"Boss, there's a Federal Government army outpost ahead."
Mu Yaozi's younger brother suddenly reported.
Mu Yaozi frowned slightly after hearing the report: "Did the Federal Government soldiers eat the wrong medicine? In this remote area, it should be hundreds of kilometers before you see a single person."
"Now there's an outpost every ten kilometers, whatever. Let's take it out!"
"Yes sir!"
After speaking, some of Mu Yaozi's men quietly walked into the forest beside the road and headed towards the outpost.
Over here, the confidant said to Mu Yaozi: "It seems the Federal Government army is really afraid of the Bobai Army."
Mu Yaozi nodded: "Yeah, otherwise, they wouldn't be so cautious."
"But boss, I always feel that the Bobai Army is a bit strange."
The confidant expressed his concern: "Logically speaking, they don't have to have such a big conflict with the Federal Government army."
"They still have a large number of Namboma warlords behind them."
"Aren't they afraid?"
Mu Yaozi snorted: "The Bobai Army is strong in combat, we've had experience with them for many years."
"Those warlords only care about fighting for their own territory, they're loose and scattered, one or two of them are no threat to the Bobai Army."
"But if they unite... Who would be the leader of this united force? Who would dare to be?"
Mu Yaozi's younger brother smiled knowingly: "Yeah, if anyone becomes the leader, they'll probably be killed the same night."
"Alright, why are you thinking about this?"
Mu Yaozi said impatiently: "We just need to mind our own business."
"As long as Li Ding keeps his word, we can successfully take over those gambling houses, I'll be his thug for once!"
"Ah!"
A scream rang out from the checkpoint not far away.
Followed by a few gunshots.
After that, a few of Mu Yaozi's men carrying several captured guns ran back.
"Boss, it's done!"
Mu Yaozi didn't even wrinkle his brows, he ordered: "Keep going."
Then the group quickly passed through the checkpoint.
When Mu Yaozi and his men entered the checkpoint, they could see the bodies of several Federal Government soldiers lying on the ground.
They were mostly shot several times, and two of them were lying face down on the ground, their backs riddled with bullet holes.
Obviously, they tried to escape but were shot dead.
Da-da-da!
Gunfire erupted!
Mu Yaozi's men showed no reaction at all when they saw the corpses.
As if the dead were nothing more than wild boars or rabbits.
They were used to this life and death.
Because in Bopang, if you don't kill others, others will kill you.
Half a day later, Mu Yaozi's troops reached the Grinding Mill Mountain.
Upon arriving here, they no longer concealed themselves, and their actions became reckless.
Because Mu Yaozi knew the Federal Government army had limited military strength.
Since they had set up so many checkpoints in Maniu Town, the defenses in other areas would naturally be weaker.
Sure enough;
The checkpoints near the Grinding Mill Mountain were scarce, and there were hardly any soldiers in them.
The group smoothly passed through the external checkpoints of the Grinding Mill Mountain and arrived outside Wu Haishan's mine.
"Boss, when do we start?" Mu Yaozi's younger brother asked.
Mu Yaozi thought for a moment before saying, "Set up camp nearby and scout the area first."
"Didn't Commander Li Ding say we were going to deal with Wu Haishan's mine and his gambling stone market?"
"The mine is nothing, the gambling stone market has too many people coming and going, and Wu Haishan is Chinese, there will inevitably be a lot of Chinese tourists inside."
"These are very sensitive, we should try to strike when there are few tourists, that way we can avoid some trouble."
Mu Yaozi's younger brother nodded, then went down to arrange for his men to set up camp.
Looking at Wu Haishan's mine in the distance, Mu Yaozi knew that they didn't have much time, they had eliminated so many Federal Government army checkpoints on the way, they would eventually become alert.
"The sooner we strike, the better," Mu Yaozi thought to himself.
······
Maniu Town
"A Xing, how's the smuggled goods doing?"
Originally, Cai Shu and the others were all living in Daban's estate.
But because of the current situation, Daban's estate was still under the control of the Federal Government army.
Although Cai Shu and the others didn't think the Federal Government army had the guts to move against them.
But it's always better to be safe than sorry.
They moved out of Daban's estate and temporarily set up a base in Maniu Town.
Ai Suo naturally didn't dare to disagree, and specially found a few decent houses for Daban and the others to live in.
Even though they left Daban, the smuggling business continued.
With Mu Yaozi's defection, the Bobai Army gained access to some of the roads used by the Namboma army.
Daban's smuggling business also had new transportation routes and sources.
But Daban hadn't fully recovered yet.
"Cai Shu, is there something else you want to tell me?" Shen Xing saw that Cai Shu's words had a hidden meaning, so he asked.
"Yan Bai Mei, do you still remember him?" Cai Shu asked.
Shen Xing frowned slightly, pondered for a moment and replied: "Oh! I remember, there were two bosses at the gathering a few days ago."
"One was Xia Wenjing from Lanqin Gambling House, the other was Yan Bai Mei."
"Isn't he the owner of the Century Gambling House?"
Cai Shu nodded with an indifferent expression: "Yes, but not entirely."
"The Century Gambling House has five gambling halls, Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, Yan Bai Mei only owns three of them."
Hearing Cai Shu mention the Century Gambling House, Shen Xing quickly figured out that Cai Shu was looking for him because of this Century Gambling House.
He asked: "Is there something wrong with the Century Gambling House?"
"Not exactly."
Cai Shu explained: "A Xing, hasn't our smuggling business resumed?"
"We have some spare money now, I originally wanted to invest it in the Lanqin Gambling House, after all, the Lanqin Gambling House is entirely ours."
"But today, Yan Bai Mei came to ask me for a favor."
