Chapter 26
Is Dad Bullying the School? (1/5)

“Because it’s too obvious.”

The change in his emotions was too obvious. He showed malice when he saw his face.

But when he saw his eyes, he showed…

The only thing he looked like his mother was his eyes.

Harry really didn’t want to gossip about their emotional entanglement, but Snape was indeed a master potioneer.

He benefited greatly from the little bit of knowledge that Snape casually revealed. If he could learn more, it would be a huge help in increasing his own strength.

Who would know about their relationship?

Basically, all the professors who stayed at the school for a long time knew.

But Harry didn’t want to ask them about it.

Maybe Snape would know.

If he secretly inquired about Snape’s love life, he would never be able to learn from him about potions.

But there was one person who had been at the school for a long time and rarely had the opportunity to interact with Snape.

“I’m going to Hagrid’s for a bit. Do you guys want to come?” Harry asked the two who were following him, secretly eating melons.

“Go.” Ron was the first to agree.

“Hagrid is the big guy who took us through the path and onto the boat when we were admitted to Hogwarts.” Ron introduced Hagrid to Hermione.

Hermione nodded.

She carried her bag and followed Harry.

Hagrid was very happy to see Harry again.

After all, he didn’t have many friends at Hogwarts, and few people would come to see him.

Fang rushed at Ron and licked his face with his drool-filled tongue.

Ron couldn’t break free.

“This is Hermione, my classmate and also a Gryffindor.” Harry simply introduced Hermione to Hagrid.

Hagrid poured them three cups of black tea and took out his rock-sized ‘small’ cookies.

He warmly entertained them.

“After you came last time, I asked the professors about you. They all think you’re very outstanding and performed very well.” Hagrid said with a chuckle.

“It’s okay.” Harry calmly nodded.

Ron couldn’t hold back his curiosity and asked Hagrid, “Hagrid, do you know about Professor Snape and Harry’s parents’ relationship?”

“Harry’s parents?” Hagrid was suddenly startled by the question.

The ‘small’ cookie in his hand slipped and landed on Hermione’s foot.

Hermione’s face instantly contorted in pain. She hugged her foot and hopped to the sofa to sit down.

“Harry said that Professor Snape might be Harry’s father’s rival, that Professor Snape liked Harry’s mother.”

“My goodness, Harry, who told you this?” Hagrid looked at Harry in shock.

“No one told me this. Anyone with a normal brain can see it.” Harry took a sip of black tea and said calmly.

“What did my father do to Professor Snape?” Harry asked Hagrid.

This was what he wanted to ask. It was just a simple rivalry, which wouldn’t make him show such malice.

“Cough, cough, I don’t know much about that. You know, I’m just the keeper of the Hogwarts keys and the gamekeeper.” Hagrid looked away, lowered his head, and took another ‘small’ cookie.

Harry’s emerald green eyes stared at him.

Hagrid felt uncomfortable under his gaze.

“Well, I have heard some things. Your father used to do some things that were a bit too much for Snape, uh, once he almost killed Snape, but Snape also created some nasty curses specifically to deal with James!” Hagrid said.

They both did some things that went too far.

Harry’s eyes drooped.

【Pranks are pranks, school bullying is school bullying, and it almost killed someone. 】

Was his father like this?

Harry thought back to his experiences of being bullied at Stonewall High.

It didn’t feel good.

“Your mother, Lily, was very good friends with Snape before, but they suddenly went their separate ways in year five. Don’t look at me, I really don’t know why.”

“Then in year seven, she got together with James, and they got married after graduation.” Hagrid said.

Oh, Hermione and Ron’s two ears perked up, their eyes shining.

Harry glanced at them.

Seeing that Harry was silent, Hagrid hesitated and said, “Harry, although Snape may be very rude to you, believe me, he would never hurt you. In fact, he is the one who least wants you to be hurt in all of Hogwarts.”

Harry didn’t say anything.

Ron complained, “Hagrid, you know what? We just finished Potions this morning. Anyone who isn’t blind can see that Snape is clearly targeting Harry.”

Hagrid said seriously, “Dumbledore believes him. Professor Snape is trustworthy.”

Harry nodded in agreement, “He hates my face. Maybe if my face was disfigured and my hair fell out, leaving only my eyes, he would like me.”

Um...

Ron didn’t know how to respond to this.

Hagrid was clearly also baffled. The ‘small’ cookie fell from his hand.

It landed on Hermione’s little feet again.

Hermione shed tears of grievance.

She was just here to eat melons, why did she have to get hurt?

The first-year curriculum was not heavy, it was very easy. The little wizards had a lot of free time.

But Harry had a sense of urgency.

Damn it, his mortal enemy was right next to him, ready to give him a surprise attack at any time.

He didn’t feel the security Dumbledore gave him at all.

He could only frantically learn the knowledge system of the wizarding world while his Game Magic was temporarily unable to improve.

He would chase after the professors to ask questions after every class. Whenever he had free time, he would go to the professor’s door with his book, even on weekends, to find out which professor was free.

All the professors were very enthusiastic about him. Which professor wouldn’t like a diligent and intelligent good student?

But Snape was an exception.

Except for asking him a few questions after every class, Harry never went into his office.

Even when asking questions, Harry would retreat and leave when he felt Snape was about to erupt in anger, not giving him the chance to vent his anger.

It made him very angry.

But he had nowhere to vent it.

Harry suggested that he brew a pot of herbal tea to cool down. If he didn’t know how, he could do it for him.

This made Ron, who had been following Harry, extremely frightened.

The bottle containing the Gryffindor house points was also equally frightened.

Every Monday to Thursday, the points in his belly increased every day, and then on Friday, they were suddenly emptied.

He was tired of going back and forth like this.

In the first few weeks, with Harry and Hermione’s leadership, and their enthusiasm for newly acquired magic, they were all studying diligently. But as time went on, their childish nature was exposed.

Playfulness and laziness were their nature.

But Harry and Hermione were like the Ravenclaws of Gryffindor, going to the library to read every time they had free time.

After going to the library with Harry a few times, Ron finally decided not to go anymore.

Harry and Hermione went to the library to read, he went to sleep. Madam Pince had already reminded him many times.

Once Ron cautiously wanted to borrow Harry’s Transfiguration paper to refer to.

Professor McGonagall said it had to be 5 inches long, and he couldn’t write it.

Harry generously threw it to him.

To avoid disturbing Harry.

Ron took it to the common room to do his homework, but for some reason, more and more people gathered around him.

When Harry found out, he simply threw his homework to the common room after finishing it and went off to do other things.

Hermione found out about this.

She said to Harry unhappily, “Harry, you can’t spoil them like this. It won’t help them at all. They need to write their homework themselves to improve.”

The other little lions just wanted to copy the classics, pretending not to hear her. Ron muttered a few words under his breath, only audible to himself.

After lunch, a message was posted on the tattered notice board in the Great Hall.

The first-year little wizards were finally able to take Flying lessons.

Flying, what a magical thing. Whether it was a little wizard who grew up in the wizarding world or a little wizard from the Muggle world, they were all eagerly looking forward to it.
