Chapter 23
I'll Just Take a Look, Not Go In (3/5)

Classes ended at 3:30.

Harry walked out of the Herbology greenhouse.

He felt a little confused for a moment.

Classes ended so early, where should he go? What should he do?

Professor McGonagall had classes in the afternoon, so obviously, he couldn't go to her for more lessons.

He should go see Hagrid.

Harry still had a good feeling about the one who first led him into the wizarding world.

Even though Hagrid always insisted he wasn't a wizard, he denied his identity.

He asked a few older students for the direction to Hagrid's gamekeeper's hut.

Harry and Ron walked over.

Hagrid was feeding the chickens. Seeing Harry and Ron arrive made him very happy.

"Harry, are you done with classes?" Hagrid smiled at Harry.

"Yes, Hagrid, this is Ron Weasley." Harry simply introduced Ron.

"Hello." Ron saw Hagrid's build and gulped.

When he first got off the train, Hagrid came to pick up the new students. He was also scared by this gigantic giant.

"Hello, Ron." Hagrid seemed very enthusiastic.

He tossed the remaining food into the chicken coop, clapped his hands, and led Harry and Ron to his small wooden house.

Of course, the word 'small' in front of this small wooden house was relative to Hagrid.

He opened the door.

A huge Neapolitan Mastiff excitedly crawled onto Hagrid's body with its forepaws, sticking out its tongue full of saliva and trying to lick him.

"Oh, ho, ho, good Fang, get down, get down." Hagrid touched its little head.

Fang got down from Hagrid's body and then discovered that there were new guests.

It ran towards them, drooling.

Ron immediately hid behind Harry in fear.

To be honest, he might not be able to beat this big dog.

Harry didn't hide. He could feel that the big dog didn't have any malice.

The dog wanted to jump on Harry.

But Harry grabbed its two forelegs.

He stopped its leaping action.

Hagrid obviously wasn't the kind of person who liked to be clean, and he didn't often bathe his dog.

"Its name is Fang, isn't it cute?" Hagrid introduced his dog to Harry and Ron.

"It's pretty cute indeed." Harry dropped its forelegs to the ground and then touched its head.

Fang obediently lowered its head to let Harry touch it.

It made a comfortable humming sound from its mouth.

Seeing Fang like this, Ron slowly came out from behind Harry and tried to touch its fur.

Fang let out a purring sound.

"Wow, you're really big." Ron was no longer afraid. He squatted down and said to Fang.

As Ron played with Fang, Harry sat down on the chair.

Hagrid poured two cups of black tea and placed them on the table, then enthusiastically took out biscuits to offer to Harry.

Harry reached out to grab one to try, but feeling the hardness of the biscuit, his face froze, and he silently retracted his hand.

Damn, he just forgot about Hagrid's bloodline.

He casually picked up the black tea and took a sip.

"Hagrid, where's your gamekeeper's hut?" Harry put down his black tea and asked Hagrid.

Gamekeeper's hut, from the name, you knew it was a place for hunting.

Harry wanted to hunt now.

"The gamekeeper's hut is the Forbidden Forest, I have to protect the students, lest they get lost in the Forbidden Forest." Hagrid said with a smile, he took a piece of rock biscuit and chewed it easily.

"Can you take me to have a look?" Harry said.

"Well, Hogwarts shouldn't let students go in." Hagrid seemed a little embarrassed.

He didn't want to refuse Harry's request, but he couldn't break the school rules.

"I'll just have a look, not go in." Harry obviously didn't want Hagrid to be embarrassed.

"Alright, I'll take you for a walk outside." Hearing Harry's words, Hagrid nodded in satisfaction, just walking outside and not going in wouldn't violate the school rules.

Harry is such a kind boy, and he cooks delicious meals too.

If only he could have Harry's cooking again.

The three of them and the dog walked towards the Forbidden Forest. Ron was clearly interested in the Forbidden Forest.

Fred and George often told him that the Forbidden Forest was a lot of fun, but they didn't have many chances to go in.

Dumbledore also said not to enter the Forbidden Forest, but who is he?

He is a Gryffindor.

He doesn't lack the adventurous spirit of the traditional Gryffindors.

"Harry, the Forbidden Forest is ahead. We can only look here, not go in." Hagrid brought Harry and Ron to a place full of trees.

This is obviously untouched by anyone. It's exactly like a virgin forest, the trees are very tall and lush, the scenery is beautiful, there is no sign of human beings, it's full of the scent of nature.

There was not a single ray of sunlight that could shine into the Forbidden Forest.

The outside of the Forbidden Forest and the inside of the Forbidden Forest were divided into two worlds by sunlight, as if.

Harry's emerald eyes were glowing.

Under his perception, there were a lot of magical creatures in the Forbidden Forest.

His perception range was very small, it might be related to his power attributes.

But even with such a small range, he could already perceive so many magical creatures.

Then, in such a large Forbidden Forest, how many magical creatures existed, it can be imagined.

The Forbidden Forest is a good place!

Harry unconsciously licked his lips.

"Harry?" Seeing Harry staring at the Forbidden Forest, Hagrid asked in doubt.

"Oh, I'm fine, is the Forbidden Forest dangerous?" Harry looked at the Forbidden Forest with longing, wanting to go in and explore it now.

"Very dangerous, in fact, many dangerous animals in the wizarding world are in there, except for dragons." Hagrid obviously wanted to scare them with these words, so they wouldn't enter the Forbidden Forest.

"Really?" Harry blinked when he heard Hagrid's words.

The Forbidden Forest is so dangerous.

Damn, he wants to go in even more.

"Let's go, Hagrid, we should go back." Harry took a deep look at the tempting Forbidden Forest, turned to Hagrid and said.

Hagrid nodded and took them away.

Another day passed, this morning was Charms class.

The Charms professor is Filius Flitwick, the Ravenclaw Headmaster, who has obvious goblin bloodline.

Harry looked at his stature and thought of Hagrid's contrasting stature.

It's said that Hogwarts is not a school without discrimination, even the professors are mixed blood.

This class will learn the first spell for little wizards, the Lumos spell.

The little wizards were obviously very excited, even the theoretical knowledge was learned with great interest.

"Take out your wands." Professor Flitwick said.

The little wizards excitedly took out their wands, and they were in their favorite practical session again.

"Pay attention to our gestures and incantations." Professor Flitwick reminded them of the key points again.

This kind of low-level magic was simply no challenge to Harry. This kind of magic, as long as a person's brain is normal, can be learned by self-study.

But seeing the students around him, they kept swinging their wands.

Trying to use brute force to make light appear.

Harry remained silent.

Brains may not be something everyone has.

Harry casually waved his wand. Without reciting the spell, a bright light appeared from between his wand.

"What a beautiful silent spell!" Flitwick clapped his hands in approval.

All the students in the classroom fell silent, they looked at Harry with both surprise and envy.

Then applause came from the Gryffindors.

"You're so amazing, Harry!"

"The Lion King, Harry is our Gryffindor Lion King!"

"Lion King."

"Lion King."

The fame of the Boy Who Lived made them naturally worship Harry.

Coupled with his superhuman talent, these Gryffindor little wizards immediately surrounded Harry and put him on the top.

Miss Granger was a little unconvinced.

She could also do this spell, but it wasn't as good as Harry's.

"Lumos." Miss Granger recited the spell. Her wand also emitted light, but it wasn't as bright as Harry's.

"Wonderful, Miss Granger has succeeded too." Professor Flitwick also didn't hesitate to praise her.

"Give Mr. Potter 10 points, Miss Granger 5 points."

Miss Granger's face, which had been smiling because of Professor Flitwick's praise, froze.

She got fewer points again.

The otter lady once again bit her lips with her rabbit teeth.

After class, Harry found Professor Flitwick.

Professor Flitwick was overjoyed to see Harry coming.

He smiled warmly at Harry and said, "I heard from Minerva that you're a very ambitious learner. You should be in Ravenclaw."

Harry nodded and said, "Professor, actually, I've learned some simple spells before I entered school. If I follow the classroom's progress, I'm afraid I won't make any progress."

"Well, for a child with such excellent talent as you, it's possible to learn more knowledge in advance. If you have time on Saturday, you can come to my office to find me." Although Professor Flitwick is the Dean of Ravenclaw, he is not biased.

As long as the child is ambitious, he will never be stingy with his knowledge.

"Thank you." Harry's eyes lit up and he bowed his head in gratitude.

After thinking for a while, he took a bag of Galleons out of his pocket and handed it to Flitwick.

"What's this?" Professor Flitwick was obviously stunned, he didn't understand Harry's actions.

"It's a little token of my appreciation for you spending extra time tutoring me." Harry said.

In the memories of his dreams, taking tutoring classes always cost money.

"Take it back, Hogwarts is a place to educate young wizards. You're an ambitious kid, how could I let you pay?" Professor Flitwick shook his head, without even taking his wand, he waved his hand and the money bag automatically returned to Harry's pocket.

What a great spell, wandless and nonverbal.

The afternoon was History of Magic.

History of Magic is still an interesting course.

But the professor who taught it was Professor Binns, a ghost. He used the ghost's unique hoarse, cold, and emotionless tone to read the textbook.

Harry felt a little like the earliest AI audiobook.

It was also emotionless, and it didn't even understand the changes in polyphones.

It's a kind of fun to close your eyes and listen to books.

Most people are listening absentmindedly, dozing off.

The only people who could listen attentively were Harry and Hermione.

Wednesday night was Astronomy.

Thursday was Defence Against the Dark Arts.

This class disappointed Harry.
