Chapter 27
Vodka Lost Points in Front of Big Brother Again

BAM!!

Vodka’s body flew backwards, slamming into the hospital corridor wall. He was completely stunned.

What the hell just happened?

He hadn't even reacted before he was kicked away?!

“Is there an expert here?”

In the corridor, Gin narrowed his eyes, and without hesitation, tossed a flashbang.

Woooosh!!

The loud noise and blinding flash caused the three girls, Ayumi, Miyamoto Kazuko, and Yukiko, to faint instantly.

Maeda Satoshi rolled to the side, avoiding the potential shot, pressed himself against the wall, and quickly adjusted his posture.

But Gin wasn't going to give him that chance.

Bang Bang—

As an absolute backbone of the Black Organization, Gin had maxed out all his skills. Every bullet he fired was deadly.

“Hmph.”

Maeda Satoshi swayed, dodging most of the bullets. He quickly closed the distance, taking a bullet to his shoulder, and kicked towards Gin’s head.

If this hit, the only outcome was instant death. Gin’s eyes turned cold, he released the gun, raised his hand to grab Maeda Satoshi’s ankle, and threw him away with a sweeping motion.

“Who are you people?”

Maeda Satoshi landed with a graceful backflip, his face hardened as he looked at the two men in black.

“Dead men don’t need to know that much.”

Vodka stood up with a dark expression. Maeda Satoshi's kick had just cost him points in front of his boss again.

“Boss, leave him to me.”

Cracking his neck, Vodka’s massive, bear-like body lunged towards Maeda Satoshi. He lowered his center of gravity, and grabbed for his waist with both hands.

“Sambō?”

Maeda Satoshi glanced at Gin, who hadn’t moved from his spot, stepped forward, and kicked towards Vodka's right side.

“I was waiting for you.”

Vodka grinned, forcibly enduring the blow. His body swayed, and his hands firmly gripped Maeda Satoshi's leg, then he twisted and threw him!

Under the force of that immense strength, the 160-pound Maeda Satoshi couldn't keep his feet on the ground. He was thrown sideways, crashing into the wall.

But during the flight.

Maeda Satoshi’s legs twisted like flowers blooming. As his body slammed into the wall with a resounding boom, the other foot landed precisely on Vodka's face.

“Ugh——”

A low, pained groan sounded. Vodka released Maeda Satoshi's right leg, covered his face, and staggered back. His sunglasses shattered, and his nose bled.

“Damn it.”

Anger surged. Before Vodka could continue the attack, Maeda Satoshi, who had been slammed against the wall, bounced back and charged towards him.

His speed was as swift as a leopard. He darted past Vodka's side, dodged his grabbing hand, and seized the corner of his open jacket. With a quick twist of his hands, he folded the jacket in half, forcefully wrapped it around Vodka's neck, and tightened it!

“Ah, damn it——”

Another pained cry. A feeling of suffocation took hold.

Vodka reached out to tear at the jacket, but Maeda Satoshi, who was behind him, struck his hamstring. He knelt on the ground with a loud thud. Then, Maeda Satoshi pulled back with both hands.

Vodka's massive body was pulled into a V shape. He felt like his waist was about to snap.

“Boss!!”

He looked at Gin with a face full of grievances. Vodka knew he had lost points with his boss again.

“Don’t move.”

Of course Gin had more than one gun.

The black muzzle pointed at Maeda Satoshi. Gin’s face was cold, though he was a little surprised internally.

Vodka's fighting skills were among the best in the organization. He couldn't believe he was falling today.

“Who are you people?”

Maeda Satoshi’s face hardened. He used Vodka’s massive body to block himself as best he could.

Bang Bang—

Gin didn’t answer. The muzzle of the gun with the silencer spat out fire. Two bullets grazed Vodka’s face and hit Maeda Satoshi's abdomen.

“Hmph.”

Maeda Satoshi covered his abdominal wound and fell to his knees.

Vodka also broke free, stood up, and kicked Maeda Satoshi viciously before drawing his gun.

“Wait.”

At that moment, Yukiko woke up.

She listened to the commotion around her and said loudly, “Your target is me, right? Don’t kill Mr. Maeda, I’ll go with you!”

“Boss?”

Vodka turned to Gin.

Gin’s icy gaze met Maeda Satoshi's for two seconds. A faint curve appeared at the corner of his lips, and he put the pistol back in his pocket.

“Agree to it.”

“Chief.”

A few minutes later, a police officer rushed to Heiji Hattori, gasping for breath, “The officers we deployed at the hospital were all shot by the assailants, even Mr. Maeda was shot three times.”

“What?!”

Heiji Hattori stood up abruptly and asked in a low voice, “What about Yukiko?”

“She… she was taken away.”

The officer lowered his head in shame.

Heiji Hattori’s expression suddenly became much more serious. He looked at the spot where Ran and Yukiko’s father were standing, and muttered softly, “The beast is finally out of the cage. Get the snipers ready.”
