The eyes of the surrounding crowd converged, and the noisy discussions rose and fell.
“Find him immediately.” The manager hastily agreed, leading the group into the hotel.
He strode towards the front desk and shouted loudly, “Quickly, check, Yuan Xin Yan—immediately give the spare room key to the prosecutor.”
Panic flashed in the eyes of the front desk receptionist. She caught sight of a group of police officers accompanied by two well-dressed men approaching, and her heart skipped a beat.
Despite her nervousness, her eyes couldn't help but steal glances at the young prosecutor, Cui En Hao.
He was so handsome and charming, it was captivating!
She secretly wondered what they were inspecting here.
If they were inspecting her, how wonderful it would be!
Within a minute, a spare room key was handed to Cui En Hao.
He examined the card, which showed room number 404.
Cui En Hao's gaze, like that of a sharp hawk, swept over the hotel manager, his eyes filled with a warning.
“Don't even think about notifying anyone.” His voice was cold and firm, leaving no room for negotiation.
“Absolutely not!”
The hotel manager, terrified, bowed low, frantically assuring him, his expression frightened and humble.
“Park Bu Chang, let's go up.”
Cui En Hao turned his head, offering a faint smile to Park Zheng Yuan.
Park Zheng Yuan nodded silently, saying nothing, and followed Cui En Hao towards the elevator.
Cui En Hao's finger lightly pressed the button on the elevator, and then his eyes fixed intently on the flickering shadows in the elevator gap.
………
………
When the door slammed open, a wave of police officers armed with guns rushed into the room.
They searched meticulously in the dimly lit room, finally focusing on the messy bed.
Get up! Police!
An officer shouted loudly, his voice echoing in the confined space.
The sudden roar startled the sleepers on the bed, causing them to jump up.
The women widened their eyes in terror. Seeing the dark muzzles pointed at them, they screamed, their voices sharp and shrill, like the distress calls of startled dolphins.
Don't move!
Get down, put your hands on your head!
Get down now!
The police officers shouted in unison, their commands echoing.
Who are you? Get out! All of you!
How did you get in?
Two men, bare-chested, leaped from the bed, their faces filled with panic as they roared at the police, pointing their pistols at them.
Cui En Hao followed Park Zheng Yuan into the room, his gaze immediately drawn to the sight of the two men pointing their guns.
Cui En Hao glanced at them, a smirk of disdain curling at the corner of his lips.
Such tiny guns, are you going to war with them? Can they even pierce through a body.
His laughter resonated with the other police officers and investigators present, instantly filling the room with a cheerful atmosphere.
As Cui En Hao's gaze swept across the room, a familiar figure caused him to freeze—Zhang Tai Shan was still there.
Cui En Hao couldn't help but curse in his heart. That damn Zhang An Tai, couldn't he even make a simple phone call?
He furrowed his brow in annoyance, strode forward, and kicked the bed hard with his foot, shouting loudly,
“Get down! Put your hands on your head, get down!”
His voice was filled with the authority of command, leaving no room for resistance.
Perhaps due to the imposing presence of a prosecutor, the women instantly quieted down and all got down from the bed, squatting by the edge, holding their heads.
“I am Cui En Hao, a prosecutor from the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, Criminal Division Six. We now have evidence to prove that Yuan Xin Yan, the Chief of the Surgical Department at Seoul Paradise Hospital, is suspected of human organ trafficking. He is currently under arrest and being investigated.”
Cui En Hao spoke solemnly, then waved his hand and ordered, “Get dressed, take them away!”
“En Hao! It's me, I'm your older brother!”
Upon hearing that he was about to be taken away, Zhang Tai Shan leaped up anxiously. He broke free from the police's control and lunged towards Cui En Hao, shouting loudly.
“I know!”
Cui En Hao stood tall, his gaze seemingly indifferent as he surveyed the room. Finally, he glanced at Park Zheng Yuan, his face cold as he said,
“However, as a prosecutor, my most important duty is to uphold the law, and the law shows no mercy. Take him away!”
He then cast several glances at Zhang Tai Shan, but ignored whether he understood his meaning.
The police officers, who had been puzzled, immediately looked at Cui En Hao with admiration.
They sprang into action, handcuffing Zhang Tai Shan, wrapping him in a blanket, and quickly pulling him out of the room.
Zhang Tai Shan's face was as pale as paper. He knew in his heart that his fate was sealed.
Yuan Xin Yan was arrested by the police for suspected human organ trafficking. As his accomplice, he could not escape the law.
Just yesterday, they had just struck a deal!
Today, the prosecutor came to arrest them!
Who leaked such swift and accurate information?
Was it Che Zai Zhen's report?
Or had Cui En Hao deliberately allowed them to join forces, together staging this play?
