Chapter 35
Minister Park's Cultivation

After finishing his morning routine, Cui Enhao walked into the living room, and a wave of home-cooked aromas greeted him.

His gaze fell on the dining table, where breakfast was already laid out.

Zhang Suxi was standing in the kitchen, dressed in a Tiffany blue knitted long dress, with an apron tied around her waist and her hair styled in a lively ponytail.

Her neck was fair and slender, and the gold-rimmed glasses accentuated her intellectual and elegant demeanor.

When Zhang Suxi saw him, she gently pursed her lips, revealing a warm and subtle smile.

Cui Enhao's heart brightened involuntarily, a surge of desire to wake up early and exercise welled up within him.

She looked even more like a good woman.

Cui Enhao realized that he seemed to have a particular fondness for women with a wholesome aura; the more virtuous their demeanor, the more he felt admiration for them.

In contrast, he found it hard to muster much interest in those flashy and provocative women.

"Oppa, breakfast is ready."

"Mm, thank you."

As Cui Enhao enjoyed his breakfast, deep down, he was immersed in constructing plans.

"I need to go to the District Prosecutor's Office later. If you have time, feel free to arrange things; we can discuss our matters in detail after this busy period."

After breakfast, he took the initiative to clean up the dishes and walked into the kitchen. In that moment, he couldn't help but steal a kiss from Zhang Suxi, and then, with her gentle push, he stepped out of the kitchen. He pondered to himself how difficult it was to grasp a woman's thoughts; they wouldn't let him peck, nor would they let him grind!

Despite that, he still enjoyed such mornings, filled with the warmth of family—a feeling he had never experienced in his past life, making it all the more precious.

Perhaps people always yearn for what they lack, seeking to fill the void within their hearts.

At the entrance of the residence, Zhang Suxi handed Cui Enhao a solemn prosecutor's robe and a thick coat.

She helped him put on the coat, her lips moving as if she had a thousand words to say, yet in the end, she only tightly pressed her lips together and said with a slightly stiff expression:

"I hope you are innocent and just."

Her voice carried a barely perceptible tremor, her eyes flickering with hope and worry.

Cui Enhao did not respond, merely smiled slightly and turned to walk towards the garage. The reality was that the original owner's actions were not just, and he could not wash away the stigma on him. This was not what he wished, but it was an unchangeable fact.

Inside the house, after Cui Enhao gently closed the door, Zhang Suxi leaned weakly against the wall by the entrance and slowly slid down to sit on the cold floor.

She painfully patted her face, her heart filled with confusion and contradiction.

Last night, when she saw Cui Enhao standing in front of her bare-chested, it felt as if an invisible force had drained her of strength, leaving her frozen in place.

Until he gently picked her up and tucked her into the warm blanket.

And she, unexpectedly, couldn't help but nuzzle against his chest.

It was all that little junior's fault!

When she woke up this morning, she found herself unconsciously making breakfast for two and ironing his robe, helping him into his suit.

Clearly, they had been questioning each other and arguing just yesterday.

Zhang Suxi let out a long sigh, covering her face, leaning weakly against the wall.

She emitted a low, hoarse groan, startling even herself.

"Ah~ Ying~"

She felt utterly embarrassed.

She didn't know what was wrong with her, her heart filled with bewilderment.

She just hoped the press conference would come soon; regardless of whether Cui Enhao was good or bad, there would be a conclusion, and she could make her own choice.

………

………

Inside the grand building of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, a venue specially set up for the press conference and prosecutor briefing appeared solemn and dignified.

At this moment, numerous reporters and photographers crowded outside the building, anxiously waiting to enter the venue. The noise of voices filled the air, creating a lively and passionate atmosphere.

"I heard Minister Park Jeong-won will announce some significant news," one reporter said excitedly.

"I heard the main character isn't Minister Park Jeong-won," another reporter mysteriously revealed.

"Come on! Stop keeping us in suspense; just spill the news!" someone urged impatiently.

"We're all media people here; if I tell you, what else could I have?" a reporter joked.

"Stop fighting, stop fighting!"

The scene became chaotic for a moment as Cui Enhao, clutching documents and carrying the robe, hurriedly entered the building.

He went straight to Park Jeong-won's office, and after placing down the robe, Cui Enhao respectfully bowed and greeted Park Jeong-won:

"Minister, the affairs officer has prepared the materials, and the media has been notified; we are just waiting for you to host the press conference."

Park Jeong-won took a sip of coffee and replied cheerfully, "No rush, no rush, just wait a moment, Deputy Minister."

Cui Enhao's actions yesterday not only achieved merit but also unexpectedly brought him a considerable income.

The thirty million won offered by Kim Hyun-bin, while not a huge amount, was still an unexpected gain.

His praise for Cui Enhao grew day by day, and his satisfaction was evident.

When Park Jeong-won mentioned the Deputy Minister, Cui Enhao couldn't help but freeze; the Deputy Minister's involvement caught him off guard.

"Your recent performance has been widely recognized, and your abilities have gained everyone's acknowledgment."

Seeing Cui Enhao's expression, Park Jeong-won couldn't help but explain, "I think it's time for you to receive more recognition and encouragement, so I discussed it with the Deputy Minister, hoping he could provide you with some guidance and advice."

Oh? Is this an intention to cultivate me?

Cui Enhao was quite surprised; however, at the moment, he could not discern Park Jeong-won's true intentions and could only express his gratitude first.

Cui Enhao excitedly bowed in thanks: "Thank you, Minister, for your cultivation! I will definitely fulfill my duties and do my utmost for the Minister, no matter the cost!"

"Hahaha, we are all working for a glorious tomorrow for the peninsula's justice; we have full confidence in you."

Park Jeong-won clapped the table and stood up, his hearty laughter echoing in the office, his mood seemingly exceptionally cheerful:

"Alright, let's head to the Deputy Minister's office."

"Yes, I am ready."

Park Jeong-won led the way, and Cui Enhao tightly clutched the documents, closely following behind him.

They quickly arrived upstairs and found the location of the Deputy Minister's office.

Park Jeong-won reached out and gently knocked on the door.

"Come in."

From inside the office came the voice of Deputy Minister Zhang.

Park Jeong-won gently turned the doorknob and walked into the office with a light step.

"Deputy Minister Zhang!"
