Chapter 2
A Date with Chizuru Mizuhara

“Well, can we start now…?”

Minamoto Chizuru stretched out her hand, palm up, her gaze and action filled with suggestive meaning.

Kazuya, not understanding the innovative gesture of the young lady, guessed that it was probably a money gesture.

“Yeah.” Kazuya took out money from his wallet and handed it to Minamoto Chizuru.

[‘Minamoto Chizuru, so cute, but isn’t acting tiring all the time?’

A former “life-role-playing” socialite, in a way, is a colleague of Minamoto Chizuru, sighing.]

“Thank you.” She took the money and smiled happily.

Kazuya and Minamoto Chizuru had some drinks and snacks at a cafe, chatted for a while, and then left.

‘Following the date plan written in the email a few days ago...’

“Actually, this is my first time visiting an aquarium.”

The perfect rent-a-girlfriend, using the perspective of a girlfriend, gave an ambiguous answer to sink someone’s heart.

If it were the original Kazuya, being recognized for his favorite hobby would have made his heart race nonstop.

However, even the current Kinosita Kazuya couldn’t tell if this was the kind of lie they called acting.

“Miss Minamoto Chizuru, would you believe me if I said this is also my first time visiting an aquarium?” Kazuya gave a mischievous smile, because teasing, was one of the best ways to entertain himself.

“Really, then why did Kazuya-kun choose this place for our date?” Minamoto Chizuru asked with a pure face, expressing her doubt.

“But, ‘I’ have been to an aquarium before, but the current me is visiting one for the first time.”

If it wasn’t about himself, no one would think that this tongue-twister-like statement was the truth.

“The previous you has been there, but the current you hasn’t? ” Minamoto Chizuru was thinking.

“Are you talking about the same aquarium, Kazuya-kun?” Minamoto immediately gave a common sense-compliant answer.

“No, I’m telling the truth, and I’ve been to the aquarium before, but I haven’t been to it before.” Kazuya looked at Minamoto Chizuru with a serious face.

“Been there before, but haven’t been before, been, not been…...” Minamoto Chizuru, who was quietly pondering, was completely different from her perfect girlfriend mode.

But if Kazuya had to choose, it would be the current one, because it’s tiring to interact with someone who acts and someone who’s acting!

[‘Miss Minamoto Chizuru, it’s easy to trip up if you act too much! Like I did before.’]

“Anyway, ‘I’ wouldn’t have two of me, right…?” Minamoto Chizuru said in a low voice, without the girlfriend’s tone, simply.

It seemed that after careful consideration, Minamoto had reached the correct answer, even though she herself didn’t believe it.

“Who knows?” Kazuya walked past Minamoto Chizuru, leaning against the glass, admiring the underwater world that belonged to fish, unseen by others.

Here, it was colorful and completely different, just like his previous life and his current life.

Reaching the dim underwater tunnel, they could vaguely see luminous jellyfish leisurely swimming in the dark water.

Minamoto Chizuru and Kinosita Kazuya walked side by side.

From the outside, the two were a mismatch.

One was a pure, beautiful and well-built young lady, definitely a favorite of Heaven.

The other was a university preparatory-level great magician, with nothing but a strange mature air.

Minamoto Chizuru gave the impression of a girlfriend out on a date with her boyfriend all the way, but when she saw Kinosita Kazuya, she couldn’t help but think of them as if they were just randomly meeting to go out and play.

“Kazuya-kun, later, let me go on a date with you as your girlfriend!” Minamoto Chizuru said seriously, feeling that her rent-a-girlfriend profession was not up to par.

Unintentionally, the rent-a-girlfriend, Minamoto Chizuru, reached out to Kazuya.

In an instant, Kazuya knew how soft the rent-a-girlfriend’s hands were, like silk, smooth like pudding, soft like a cat’s pink paws.

After holding hands with the beautiful rent-a-girlfriend, Minamoto Chizuru, Kazuya viewed her again from the boyfriend’s perspective.

Her brown hair was soft and beautiful, like a flowing chocolate river, elegant and yet tied with a crescent moon-like braid, highlighting her cute girlish charm.

Her skin was white, her figure tall, her waist slender, her chest full, and with straight, white long legs beneath her short skirt – she might be the perfect girlfriend that everyone has ever desired!

On top of that, all the way, you could hear things like “So beautiful,” “Is she a model?” “Being her boyfriend must be so happy,” which fulfilled men’s sense of being envied, truly a perfect date object from head to toe.

Both the original Kazuya and the current Kinosita Kazuya had had girlfriends before.

But they still felt uncomfortable with physical contact with the opposite sex, even though holding hands was no problem.

But completely unfamiliar men and women holding hands for only financial reasons…

This kind of contact bought with money, really…

So soft.

Even knowing that Minamoto Chizuru, as a rent-a-girlfriend, couldn’t act out of line, men are the kind of creatures who are prone to daydreaming.

Kinosita Kazuya wanted to deviate from this strange atmosphere.

“Miss Minamoto, how long have you been a rent-a-girlfriend?”

The current Kinosita Kazuya was different from the original Kazuya, he didn’t want to be that kind of man who would be continually depressed after breaking up with his ex-girlfriend.

(Break up is break up, if it’s not suitable, just reminisce about it, prepare yourself, and continue to face life; if you are reluctant, then try to win her back, do everything you can.

The most lovable and most deserving of love in this world is always myself!

Sometimes, selfishness is just to be good to yourself!

Whether it’s family, current girlfriend, or even future wife, even if you’re willing to do anything for your family, you should still love yourself the most.

Compared to loving others and loving yourself, you should love yourself and then love others; although it’s just a difference in order, but the difference is a more fundamental attitude towards life.)

“It’s been a little over a month, Kazuya-kun, it’s date time now, please don’t talk about such air-ignoring topics, okay?”

Minamoto Chizuru’s heart was tired, why couldn’t this guest just follow the procedures, couldn’t he just have a quiet date?

“I’m sorry, but… no.”

Although Kinosita Kazuya couldn’t resist the temptation of Minamoto Chizuru’s soft hands, but besides knowing when to act, men also need to know when not to act.

Inappropriate topics help to alienate the relationship between two people.

“Before me, Miss Minamoto Chizuru, how many clients have you met?”

Kinosita Kazuya was three parts curious, four parts tempted, and three parts self-control.

“That’s something I can’t talk about, after all, it’s about the clients’ privacy.”

Minamoto Chizuru was smiling very hard.jpg!
