Decades ago, the biggest power in Kowloon Walled City was led by a man named Lei Zhen Dong.
He was able to intimidate the entire city because of his right-hand man, the notorious killer Chen Zhan.
Later, a man called "Hurricane" appeared, and he gathered a group of like-minded individuals to challenge Lei Zhen Dong's authority.
To counter Hurricane, Lei Zhen Dong ordered Chen Zhan to kidnap and kill Di Qiu's wife and daughter, who were Hurricane's sworn siblings.
Di Qiu was completely devastated by this act and everything he did from that point on was driven by revenge.
In the end, Hurricane successfully killed Chen Zhan and overthrew Lei Zhen Dong. Di Qiu, heartbroken and disillusioned, withdrew from the gangs and became a landlord in Kowloon Walled City.
Though it seemed like things had settled, Di Qiu could never truly let go of his hatred. He knew Chen Zhan had a wife and son, but they disappeared without a trace.
He searched for them for over a decade, but to his dismay, he discovered that Hurricane was the one who let the mother and son escape mainland China.
And now, Hurricane had taken Chen Zhan's son, Chen Luo Jun, under his wing.
He wouldn't have known any of this if the Boss hadn't told him.
