Chapter 9
Strong-Arming Sales, Business Prodigy

“Really? If you want to buy a house, you can take a look at the house my grandfather left behind.”

The blonde woman was delighted to hear that Lu Hao was looking to buy a house. She immediately began introducing her own property. “My grandfather’s house is not only a detached house, but it also has a yard and garden. The price is not high. If you’re interested, let’s schedule a time to view it together.”

“That’s great.”

Lu Hao chuckled and said, “If you have time, how about we meet here tomorrow at this time?”

“It’s a deal.”

The blonde woman happily agreed, then waved her hand and said, “See you tomorrow.”

“See you tomorrow!”

Lu Hao watched the blonde woman leave.

Not far away, two figures wrapped in Arabian headscarves were stealthily watching the blonde woman.

“That wooden doll she bought must have a problem.”

“No, I think the money is the problem.”

The two argued about this, then approached the stall.

By this time, the blonde woman had already left with the two wooden dolls. Jack patted Lu Hao on the shoulder and exclaimed, “You’re quite the player, kid. You just finished flirting with the little shop owner, and now you’re flirting with a blonde bombshell. I never thought you were so good at picking up women.”

Since Lu Hao and the blonde woman had been chatting in German the whole time, Jack didn’t know the exact content of their conversation. He just assumed that Lu Hao had flirted with her based on her cheerful demeanor.

“Envious? I can teach you!”

Lu Hao laughed and teased Jack, “Just call me Master, and I’ll teach you how to pick up girls.”

“Go to hell. Do I need you to teach me how to pick up girls? I was already flying all over Asia picking up chicks when you were still in diapers.”

Jack rolled his eyes, full of disdain.

“But you’re still single.”

“Being alone doesn’t mean you’re single… Besides, how can a bounty hunter be called single? I have money, I have women.”

Jack muttered unconvincedly, drawing a playful chuckle from Lu Hao. The air was filled with a lively atmosphere.

As the two were bantering, the two sneaky figures crept closer. Lu Hao recognized them immediately as the Arabs who were following Elsa, the blonde woman, in the movie.

“These two idiots, let’s have some fun with them.”

Thinking about what would happen next, he smiled inwardly. He held the banknotes that the blonde woman had just paid him in his hand, preventing the two from getting their hands on them.

Seeing that there was no opportunity to strike, they didn’t dare to snatch it in broad daylight and could only muster up the courage to approach. “Hello, we want to exchange some money with you.”

“Exchange money? Sure, how much do you want to exchange?”

Lu Hao agreed without hesitation.

“All the pesos you have.”

The two reached for their wallets. Lu Hao raised an eyebrow and chuckled. “Wait a minute, I’m exchanging money with you, what’s in it for me? I can’t just do it for free, right? I’m not doing it.”

The two widened their eyes. “What do you want then?”

Lu Hao pointed at the stall on the ground and said, “Just pick out two items and buy them. Support my business, then I’ll exchange money with you.”

“Fine, fine. I’ll take these two wooden dolls. How much are they?”

The two casually picked out two small items.

“That’ll be 3,200 pesos.”

“How come it’s so much?”

Lu Hao smiled slightly and explained, “These wooden dolls are from Africa. They are expensive imported goods. Each one costs 1,000 pesos. Two items are 2,000. Adding the money you want to exchange, the total is 3,200 pesos.”

“You’re playing us…”

One of them became furious when he heard Lu Hao’s calculation. He had witnessed the blonde woman selling two wooden dolls for only a little over 1,000 pesos. This was clearly treating him like a sucker.

Seeing the situation wasn’t right, Jack immediately stood up and stood beside Lu Hao, glaring at them. The two instantly hesitated.

“Don’t talk to him anymore, just get the money and leave.”

The other guy didn’t want to cause trouble and immediately paid to avoid further conflict.

After receiving the money, the two quickly left.

“Thank you for your patronage, welcome back again.”

Lu Hao smiled and took the money. Jack watched them leave and clicked his tongue, “You’re a real businessman, you managed to earn so much extra money from them.”

Lu Hao chuckled and changed the subject, “Those two have problems.”

“They definitely have problems, but it’s none of our business. On the other hand, that blonde chick you just hit on might be in trouble.”

Jack chuckled, those two were clearly after the blonde woman.

“So, does this mean I have a chance to be a hero and save the damsel in distress?”

Lu Hao stroked his chin, pretending to ponder.

“You’re so full of yourself!?”

Jack was speechless, you want to be a hero and save the damsel in distress? Take a look at those head coverings before you say anything. You’re going to end up with egg on your face.

“Just a joke, don’t be so serious. Come on, smile.”

Lu Hao shrugged, looking relaxed.

“Lu Hao, I’m back, thank you for watching my stall.”

Taozi returned from the bathroom and saw Lu Hao diligently watching her stall. She was immediately happy and smiled, bowing politely to express her gratitude.

“You’re welcome.”

Lu Hao waved his hand and handed the pesos he had just earned to Taozi. “This is the money from selling four wooden dolls. Take it.”

“Wow, so much!?”

Taozi was a little surprised to take the money. “You sold four wooden dolls in just a short time? Lu Hao, you’re amazing.”

She gave Lu Hao a big thumbs up. She couldn’t even sell one wooden doll after sitting there for a whole morning, but Lu Hao sold four in just a few minutes.

She felt a little ashamed comparing herself to him.

“Many people have said that.”

Lu Hao chuckled and crouched down to look at various African small goods, ready to support Taozi’s business.

Jack, standing behind Lu Hao, rolled his eyes. This kid really doesn’t know how to be humble.

“Beep, beep… Beep, beep…”

At that moment, a series of beeping sounds came from Jack’s pocket. He frowned and took out a sensor.

“What’s happening!?”

Noticing Jack’s unusual expression, Lu Hao immediately asked.

“Someone’s stealing a car. I’ll go take a look.”

After saying that, Jack immediately ran towards where his jeep was parked.

At this point, Lu Hao couldn’t bother with shopping anymore. He got up and was about to follow him to see what was going on.

“Hey, Lu Hao, please wait.”

Seeing that Lu Hao had something to do, Taozi hurriedly called out to him.

Lu Hao paused, looking at Taozi with slight surprise, “Anything else?”

“Here.”

Taozi directly threw the ocarina she had just blown at Lu Hao, her face full of a happy smile. “This is for you, thank you for watching my stall.”

“Thanks!”

Lu Hao took the ocarina, kissed it, then gave Taozi a smile. “This is a great gift, I love it.” Then he chased after Jack.

Seeing Lu Hao kiss the ocarina she had blown on, Taozi blushed slightly, smiled faintly, and waved her hand, “Lu Hao, see you next time.”
