Chapter 5
I Will Change My Destiny! Become Someone Extraordinary!

Sunlight bathed the athletic field, brimming with the vibrant energy of youth.

But amidst this lively campus, one figure stood out as exceptionally jarring.

It was Qi Tongwei, standing in the center of the field, his hands clenched tight, shouting loudly: “I will change my fate! I will become a man of power!”

His voice echoed across the field, drawing the attention of the students around him.

They turned their heads with curious gazes, their murmurs rising in a wave.

Yet, Qi Tongwei paid no heed to their looks or whispers, continuing to shout with unrestrained fervor: “I will make everyone look up to me!”

Just then, Chen Hai and Hou Liangping arrived, alerted by the commotion.

Upon seeing Qi Tongwei standing in the center of the field, shouting at the top of his lungs, both of them were stunned.

They never imagined Qi Tongwei would do something like this.

“What’s going on?” Chen Hai asked in bewilderment.

“I don’t know either,” Hou Liangping shook his head, “but he looks really agitated.”

Chen Yang, with a look of worry, said to Qi Tongwei: “Let’s go over and take a look.”

They approached Qi Tongwei.

Seeing Qi Tongwei’s flushed face and sweat-soaked hair, they were taken aback.

“Are you alright?” Chen Hai asked with concern.

Qi Tongwei glanced at them and said, “I’m fine, don’t worry.”

Chen Yang, the campus sweetheart of Han Dong University, was beautiful and intelligent. Each of her smiles was enough to captivate countless boys.

Qi Tongwei, a brilliant student in the Law Department, was not only exceptionally talented but also possessed a tenacious spirit that refused to be defeated.

Their relationship had become a striking landscape on campus, regarded by everyone as the epitome of a beautiful romance.

But behind this seemingly perfect love story lay the struggle within Chen Yang’s heart.

She did have feelings for Qi Tongwei, but whether those feelings were strong enough to warrant entrusting her life to him was uncertain.

This uncertainty caused her to maintain a subtle distance when she was with Qi Tongwei.

Qi Tongwei, although seemingly confident on the surface, was actually under immense pressure.

It wasn’t just the gap in their status and background but also the uncertainty deep within his heart.

He feared that he wouldn’t be able to bring happiness to Chen Yang and even more feared that he would choose to give up due to the unbearable pressure.

Just when both of them were filled with apprehension, Liang Lu’s arrival disrupted this delicate balance.

Liang Lu, also a student in the Law Department, was no less beautiful or talented than Chen Yang.

Moreover, there seemed to be a certain subtle attraction between her and Qi Tongwei.

This attraction made Qi Tongwei even more hesitant in front of Chen Yang, and it also made Chen Yang start to question the relationship between her and Qi Tongwei.

This intricate emotional entanglement not only affected the relationship between Qi Tongwei and Chen Yang but also intertwined with the competitive relationship between Chen Yanshi and Liang Qunfeng.

Chen Yanshi was Chen Yang’s father, a heavyweight figure in the legal circles of Han Dong.

Liang Qunfeng was Liang Lu’s father, who also held significant power in the legal field.

The rivalry between them had become an open secret on campus.

Qi Tongwei, as their shared student, his choice would undoubtedly have a profound impact on this competitive relationship.

But amidst this complex web of emotions and political entanglements, a sudden incident shattered the peaceful campus life.

One evening, Chen Yang was attacked by a group of unidentified individuals on her way back to her dorm.

Though she eventually escaped harm, she was deeply traumatized both physically and emotionally.

Upon learning of his sister’s ordeal, Chen Hai was enraged.

As Chen Yang’s brother, he couldn’t accept anyone harming his sister.

When he learned that the attackers might be connected to Qi Tongwei, he stormed into Qi Tongwei’s dorm in a fit of rage.

“Qi Tongwei! You bastard! How dare you hurt my sister!” Chen Hai roared with fury, landing a punch on Qi Tongwei’s face.

Taken aback, Qi Tongwei stumbled from the force of the punch.

But he quickly regained his footing and grabbed Chen Hai’s collar with his other hand.

“Calm down! This has nothing to do with me!” Qi Tongwei argued loudly.

But Chen Hai wouldn’t listen to his explanations, continuing to rain blows on Qi Tongwei with his fists.

Soon, the two were brawling in the dorm.

The students around were shocked by this spectacle and rushed to break up the fight.

But both of them had lost their reason and were deaf to any pleas.

It wasn’t until the dorm supervisor arrived, alerted by the commotion, that they were separated.

Chen Hai was consumed by rage, while Qi Tongwei felt incredibly wronged by the misunderstanding.

But it was too late, the rift between them was irreparable.

Qi Tongwei knew that his relationship with Chen Yang had reached its end.

Seeing the conflict between her brother and Qi Tongwei, Chen Yang felt a sense of helplessness and disappointment.

This sudden incident not only shattered the relationship between Qi Tongwei and Chen Yang but also sent shockwaves throughout the entire campus.

The peaceful campus life was thrown into disarray, and Qi Tongwei’s fate took a dramatic turn.

He didn’t know how to face all of this, nor did he know what his future held.

“Qi Tongwei, come on!” A clear voice rang out from the crowd, breaking the surrounding silence.

Pei Qianqian, an unassuming girl, had always silently observed Qi Tongwei’s every move.

Her admiration and affection for him were like the rising sun, warm and intense.

Qi Tongwei paused for a moment, turning his head towards the source of the voice.

Pei Qianqian stood not far away, her eyes filled with encouragement as she looked at him.

He smiled faintly and nodded, as if in response to her encouragement, and as if to give himself a pep talk.

At that moment, a series of hurried footsteps shattered the tranquility.

A tall and burly boy rushed onto the field, heading straight for Qi Tongwei.

His face held a hint of defiance and disdain, his eyes radiating contempt for Qi Tongwei.

“I heard you’re just a poor kid from the countryside?” the boy asked arrogantly, his voice dripping with provocation.

Qi Tongwei frowned slightly, but he didn’t respond.

The boy was the school bully, Li Hu. He often bullied his classmates, taking advantage of his wealth and physique.

He didn’t want to pick a fight with Li Hu, but he also didn’t want to be bullied.
