Chapter 6
We Never Punish Students with Transfiguration

Chapter 6 Gryffindor Should Be Deducted Ten Points!

“The screen has appeared again?”

Snape looked at the screen in front of him, instinctively taking out his wand and pointing it at it.

It was fine in the Great Hall before, they had a lot of Hogwarts people. But now, he was alone here, and the screen suddenly appeared. The danger level began to increase exponentially.

Snape had made up his mind. As soon as the screen showed any sign of trouble, like someone climbing out of it, he would hit it with a Sectumsempra!

However, the scene he imagined did not happen. Instead, it was a video.

[In Transfiguration class, the bell had already rung, and all the students were quietly studying with their heads down. However, two figures burst in at this moment, it was Ron and Harry, who were late.

Looking at the empty podium, "Finally made it! If we were late, Professor McGonagall's face could scare us to death!"]

Seeing this scene, Snape couldn't help but smile slightly, because he saw a tabby cat standing on the teacher's desk in the classroom. He knew who it was, of course.

"Five points from Gryffindor for being late on the first day of the first class!"

Then…

[Ron and Harry had just breathed a sigh of relief when the tabby cat on the podium leaped down and transformed into Professor McGonagall!

Seeing this scene, Ron's mouth wouldn't close. He was even more surprised than Harry, who was just getting to know magic.

"That… That's amazing!"

"Thank you for your assessment, Mr. Weasley." McGonagall smiled kindly, responding to Ron's praise. But the next second, her expression turned serious again.

"Perhaps I should turn Mr. Potter and you into a pocket watch, so at least one of you can keep track of time."

"We got lost," Harry said sheepishly.

"Then turn into a map. Well, go back to your seats. You don't need a map for this, do you?"]

The first video ended.

"Minerva McGonagall!" Snape widened his eyes. "This is blatant favoritism! I dare say, if it were any other professor, Gryffindor would have lost at least five points! If it were me, these two would have each lost five points!"

Was there a problem with deducting points for being late to class? Absolutely not!

But on second thought, he seemed to be a little bit biased occasionally…

"Forget it, Harry Potter didn't lose points. I will make up for Minerva."

Snape calmed himself down, then slowly sat down. Every time he saw Harry's face, he would think back to the time when he was bullied by Potter and Sirius Black. That feeling made him feel an irresistible disgust for Harry.

But his eyes…

"Lily…"

Snape took a deep breath, then looked back at the screen in front of him.

In Zhang Dong's dorm

"Whew… Thank goodness, Professor McGonagall didn't turn us into a pocket watch or a map." Ron breathed a sigh of relief. He knew Professor McGonagall's strength, it would be easy for her to turn him into a pocket watch.

Looking at Ron who was relieved, Zhang Dong, who had just returned from the bathroom, smiled and comforted him, "Don't worry, Professor McGonagall was just trying to scare you. She never uses Transfiguration to punish students."

"Really?" Ron didn't believe it.

"Really, if you don't believe me, you can try being late tomorrow."

"No need!" Ron quickly shook his head, then he pleaded with Neville beside him, "Neville, make sure you wake up Harry and me tomorrow, we have to go to class together."

"Okay." Neville nodded.

Seeing this scene, Zhang Dong shook his head regretfully. If he wasn't mistaken, Professor McGonagall should also have a screen there. If Ron and Harry were late again tomorrow, McGonagall might really take action.

Zhang Dong really wanted to know if the statement "We never use Transfiguration to punish students" was true.

[The second class, Potions class, began]

[Excited little wizards were chattering amongst themselves. Suddenly, the classroom door swung open, and then, Snape, wearing his cloak, floated in.]

["My class doesn't need you to foolishly wave your wands or mumble spells."

Snape tightened his cloak, then looked around at his students before continuing, "So, I doubt many of you will understand the precise and complex craft of Potions. But for those few, I will teach you how to confound the mind, how to deceive the senses, and how to brew glory, even… immortality." ]

At this point, Snape's eyes fell on Harry Potter, who was diligently taking notes on the side…]

Seeing this, Harry visibly breathed a sigh of relief

I'm being so attentive, this scary guy shouldn't give me any trouble, right?

Then, he saw the next scene

["Mr. Potter… our new generation of celebrities, tell me, what would happen if you add powdered Dittany to an infusion of Wormwood?"]

"Huh???"

Harry stared blankly at Snape in the video.

Are you kidding me, it's only the first class! How could I possibly know this?
