The Nicolaus Flamel video ended, and everyone was still hotly discussing it.
The footage was simply too exciting; it was a pinnacle magical duel. While neither side could be called invincible, scenes like this were incredibly rare.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione looked at each other, their first clear understanding of their own abilities dawning.
After a long silence, Ron finally spoke.
“To be honest, I want to learn Fire Shield.”
“Isn’t it Fiendfyre? That’s the spell Aurors learn, right?” Hermione looked at Ron in confusion.
Ron shook his head. “Fire Shield is cooler! And, Percy knows Fiendfyre. He wants to join the Ministry of Magic. I’ll just ask him if I want to learn it.”
Seeing Ron like this, Zhang Dong sighed helplessly. It was no wonder that later, of the trio, you were the only one who left the Ministry of Magic.
In the official fan fiction, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the trio all joined the Ministry of Magic, Hermione became Minister for Magic, Harry became Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and only Ron left the Ministry.
Hermione’s eyes, however, lit up. She wasn’t interested in the destructive Fire Shield, but Fiendfyre intrigued her.
“Then! Can I ask your brother to teach me?”
“You can anytime, but he’s preparing for his O.W.L.s, he probably won’t have time. He’s aiming to pass five N.E.W.T.s in his seventh year. He’s totally focused on the Ministry.”
“Oh,” Hermione was a little disappointed. She really wanted to learn that cool Fiendfyre.
As for waiting for Defense Against the Dark Arts to teach it? That’s ridiculous! Quirrell doesn’t even teach Expelliarmus, how could he possibly teach Fiendfyre?
Seeing Hermione’s expression, Zhang Dong said helplessly, “Fiendfyre isn’t that hard. If you want to learn, I can teach you.”

Ron…
Hermione…
The three of them looked at Zhang Dong speechless. Well, you really do know everything!
Ron curiously leaned over to Zhang Dong and asked, “Tell us the truth, what level are you at now?”
What level? How could I tell you?
However, after a moment, Zhang Dong said, “Well, if we were to have a Wizard’s Duel, I’d probably be on par with Percy.”
This statement stunned the trio.
That’s Percy! Although he’s currently only in fifth year, not seventh year, given his talent, he would still be considered mid-to-upper-level if he were in seventh year.
So, what does that mean? You’re top five in Gryffindor? You’re only a first year!
Zhang Dong ignored their expressions. In terms of pure spellcasting ability, he was roughly at the same level as Percy. Percy was stronger in potions, astronomy, divination, and herbology... but Zhang Dong’s Animagus ability more than compensated for those deficiencies.
However, Zhang Dong also had two ridiculously powerful magic artifacts—the Death Eater's Hat and the World Tree Sprite. Plus, he had the defensive Twelve Trials, so he was guaranteed to win against Percy.
“Zhang Dong, I want to learn!” Hermione immediately rushed over. She was determined to learn Fiendfyre.
“Me too!” Harry Potter also crowded over. He was obviously eager to improve his abilities.
“Can I join in?” Ron asked softly. He wasn’t as hungry for power as the others, but everyone else was learning, so he felt excluded from the group if he didn’t.
“Sure. I’ve got nothing else to do these next few days anyway.” Zhang Dong said nonchalantly.
Fiendfyre wasn’t any secret. Teaching them wouldn’t hurt.
The trio was all excited, while Zhang Dong quietly checked his rewards. You’ve got to give me something good after a video that involved Nicolaus Flamel.

Zhang Dong was stunned for a moment, then he suddenly remembered where he’d heard that spell. Next year, Ron used it to try to fight Malfoy, but because his wand was broken, he ended up using it on himself and sneezed snot-like worms for a whole day…

Zhang Dong felt a little sick. Oh well, it might be useful for a prank.

Apparition, to teleport from one location to another, ignoring any obstacles, it’s truly the running away god-tier technique in the wizarding world! But this spell is extremely difficult to learn, which is why Zhang Dong never learned it. Otherwise, given his personality, he would have learned it a long time ago.

“Except Hogwarts has a protection spell. I can’t use this here.”
Zhang Dong shook his head, feeling a little regretful.

“Damn! This is even possible?” Zhang Dong hadn’t expected that. But then he felt a chill, thankfully, he was given an Animagus form instead of a blood curse, otherwise, Zhang Dong would have literally become a snake!
“This means the system automatically converts any potentially harmful rewards into something suitable for me.”
Wait, that means I can transform into two different animals as an Animagus?
It’s not uncommon for students to become Animagi. After all, just a dozen years ago, James, Sirius, and Peter all became Animagi to help Lupin, who was a werewolf, to not feel so inferior.
Three Animagi from a first year class is rare but not unheard of. These three were truly talented, but it goes to show that becoming an Animagus isn’t that impossible.
But being able to transform into two different animals is completely different.
Throughout history, Zhang Dong is the only one!

“How stingy. You’re the head Auror of the Ministry, and you only give this crap. Look at your brother, he gives out his treasured trunk right away.”
Newt’s Magic Trunk had an Undetectable Extension Charm cast on it. Essentially, it was just a normal trunk, but inside was a small world containing: forests, deserts, grasslands, lakes, and even a swamp, and many different environments!
I wouldn’t dare say how much space it had, but based on the movies, it was probably a few hundred acres at least. With this trunk, you wouldn’t just be able to pack your stuff, but you could even build a villa inside, because, frankly, Zhang Dong had always felt their dorm room was a little too small.
