Inside the dining hall, everyone had just finished watching the video and were discussing it while eating. However, they noticed that the screen did not disappear after the video ended, instead, a new title appeared.
[Hagrid, the Tight-Lipped One]
“There's another video?”
“Quick, quick, stop eating! There's another video to watch!”
“Hagrid, the Tight-Lipped One? Is this video about Hagrid?”
The younger wizards in the audience were naturally unaware of the Philosopher's Stone, but on the stage, Hagrid caught Dumbledore's eye and then flashed a proud little smile.
“Tight-lipped, what a wonderful description! Yes, I, Hagrid, am indeed a man of few words!”
[Midnight. Three small figures walked through a dimly lit room, Filch's trophy room, due to Malfoy's daytime provocation.
Harry carefully tiptoed through the room, wary of a possible Malfoy appearance. However, time ticked by, and Malfoy still didn't show up.
Ron breathed a sigh of relief and lowered his wand, muttering, “He's late. Maybe he's too scared to come.”
However, Hermione had already discovered they had been tricked and said, “Malfoy never came to Filch's trophy room. You've been fooled!”]
Watching the beginning of this video, Harry, Ron, and Hermione's faces instantly turned pale. They had already heard Professor McGonagall's voice.
“Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, and Miss Granger, please explain why you are outside the common room at this time.”
“Ah...this...” Harry stammered, unable to speak. What could he say? They hadn't even left their dorm yet, and they were already caught. This feeling was too frustrating.
Hermione, however, reacted quickly and said, “Professor McGonagall, this video must be of something that will happen in the future. Maybe we won't even go out tonight.”
“Won't go out? What a pathetic lie.” Snape looked at McGonagall, he didn't believe these little lions would break their promise after making a date to fight.
“I believe the punishment for wandering at night doesn't need my reminder, Professor McGonagall.”
“Of course not, Professor Snape. But I think we can't deduct points from innocent students for something that hasn't happened, right?”
Professor McGonagall wouldn't deduct points for this. She was fair, yes, but she wasn't stupid. Nothing happened, so why would I deduct points from my students?
However, why do I feel like these three little guys won't let me have a moment's peace even after seeing this video?
Phew!
Seeing Professor McGonagall not holding them accountable, the three little wizards breathed a sigh of relief and then simultaneously glared at Malfoy across the table.
Malfoy was also quite embarrassed and lowered his head to eat.
After all, breaking a promise to fight after making a date is quite humiliating, especially now that his plan was exposed. Those guys definitely won't go now.
Sigh, getting ridiculed for no reason, and not even getting any points deducted from the other side. What bad luck.
However, Ron quickly reacted and asked, “Why are only the three of us? Where's Zhang Dong?”
Before Ron finished his sentence, Hermione rolled her eyes at him and said, “It's obvious. Malfoy's little trick was seen through by Zhang Dong long ago. And, if I didn't want to stop you two from getting points deducted from our house, I wouldn't have run out with you, you know.”
“Okay, we were wrong.” Ron admitted his mistake helplessly.
They wouldn't think Zhang Dong didn't show up because he was afraid of Malfoy. After all, Zhang Dong could fight three of them at once in the daytime, there's no reason he would be afraid of them three at night.
[Knowing they had been tricked, the trio prepared to return to Gryffindor Castle. However, as they reached the stairs, the stairs happened to change at this time, and they were sent to a door.]
“Oh, we're going this way, otherwise the stairs will change again.”
Harry said, pushing open the door and leading the two into it.
Fred: “It's over! You were caught sneaking into the Forbidden Forest!”
George: “We’re so jealous. We've always wanted to go in but never had the chance.”
The Weasley twins looked at Harry and the others with envious eyes, leaving Harry confused.
The Forbidden Forest? Why the Forbidden Forest?
However, he soon found out.
[At the end of the corridor, a mountain-sized giant dog was staring at them with its lamp-sized eyes.
More importantly, it had three pairs of these eyes, each one on a different head, all identical. Three noses twitched simultaneously, and the gooey saliva dripping on the ground made a sizzling sound.
The three-headed dog! Fluffy!!
“Ah!!!”
The trio shouted in unison and turned to run. The three-headed dog also noticed their presence and charged towards them like a truck!
“The door back is locked!” Harry shouted nervously.
In a critical moment, Hermione reacted quickly. She quickly took out her wand, stood in front of the door and said
“Let me do it! Alohomora!”
The lock instantly opened, and the trio quickly ran out, leaving three dog heads barking wildly at the narrow doorway.
“Harry! Ron! Hermione!” McGonagall couldn't stand it anymore. She felt a headache coming on. These three little guys were really giving her a hard time.
The trio also lowered their heads in embarrassment, not daring to look at Professor McGonagall's expression. They knew it wouldn't be pretty.
“What was that!” Ron whispered quietly underneath the table.
Hearing Ron's words, Zhang Dong explained, “A three-headed dog, also known as the Cerberus. It's said to be the guardian of the underworld and was later defeated by a hero called Heracles and brought to the mortal world. Of course, this three-headed dog isn't Cerberus, maybe you can ask Hagrid, he should know something.”
“Okay, but I don't think he'll tell us. Don't forget the title of this video: Hagrid, the Tight-Lipped One.”
Ron didn't believe Hagrid would tell them about this. After all, the title of the video said so.
