Chapter 45
This Is How Men Fight (5/5)

A desolate wasteland lay shrouded in the darkness of night.

Seeing the monster Kiranbo, which had been knocked out of the spatial ripple, Captain Jujo and the rest of the Victory Team were anxiously debating whether to immediately call in fighter jets or how to deal with the monster.

Suddenly, a burst of colorful light erupted.

As mystical light particles ascended, a tall figure with a bluish-purple-red body and a head adorned with dart-like claws appeared on the wasteland, facing the now-gigantified Kiranbo.

“It’s that mysterious giant, Saiya! He actually intervened personally,” Shinjo, Hori, and the others couldn’t help but show expressions of astonishment.

After all, this giant had always been incredibly enigmatic. Apart from his appearance to guide Tiga against the Rigardon, he hadn’t been seen for some time.

Unexpectedly, he had chosen to personally intervene this time.

“Perhaps he’s judged that Tiga might have trouble dealing with this interdimensional Kiranbo,” Captain Jujo contemplated, guessing based on the message left by her husband, Kaigo, who had already learned the name of the monster.

Clearly, after his observation, her husband had drawn some conclusions.

“Indeed, he has the qualifications to make such a judgement,” Zong Fang, Rina, and the others nodded in agreement.

Previously, this mysterious giant had seemingly guided Tiga’s battle tactics against Rigardon.

This made Daigo turn towards Kaigo with some understanding. Could it be that the Senior was personally intervening for this reason?

He considered the abilities he possessed and realized that they might indeed be inadequate to deal with a monster that could manipulate space.

Naturally, Kaigo couldn’t tell him that he was merely eager to stretch his limbs and test a new skill he had acquired but hadn’t yet used.

Of course, he was also aiming to further establish his image within TPC.

With these thoughts, Kaigo beckoned to the old witch Kiranbo from a distance, prompting her to attack.

“Damn you, you ruined my entire plan, and you dare to provoke me like this!” Kiranbo roared at Kaigo in anger.

She instantly transformed into a magnetic light, disappearing in a blink and secretly relocating behind Kaigo. Her blade-like left arm immediately launched a sneak attack.

This Ultra Warrior’s speed seemed incredible, but no matter how fast, it couldn’t match their interdimensional instantaneous teleportation abilities!

As Kiranbo thought this, she discovered that Kaigo was suddenly gone. Her hand-blade landed on empty air.

“You might not believe it, but I’m actually better at instantaneous teleportation than you are.” Just as Kaigo’s voice rang out, Kiranbo hadn’t even managed to react when she felt a sharp pain in her back.

“Bang!!”

Sparks flew as Kiranbo was knocked flying backwards. Kaigo’s figure materialized like a phantom behind her, disappearing again and flickering thrice around her.

He tossed Kiranbo around like a giant ball, kicking her through the air before finally sending her crashing to the ground with a painful groan.

“Good heavens! Saiya can also teleport! And he seems much faster than this Kiranbo monster!” The Victory Team members, who had been about to exclaim in surprise upon witnessing Kiranbo’s teleport, discovered something even more shocking.

This most mysterious giant, Saiya, could also teleport!

Moreover, his teleportation ability seemed significantly more exaggerated than Kiranbo’s, almost as if he were toying with her completely.

“This teleport ability coupled with those incredible battle skills, it’s so cool!” Rina’s eyes sparkled as she spoke in admiration.

“This is what a man’s battle style should be,” Shinjo nodded in complete agreement.

Hearing this, Daigo felt a sudden sense of being slighted.

“The monster seems to want to escape!” Captain Jujo suddenly furrowed her brow and spoke. She saw that after Kiranbo had struggled to get back on her feet, she was now fearfully looking at Kaigo and retreating hastily.

“You’re not one of our interdimensional beings, why can you use teleportation? Ultras shouldn’t have this teleportation ability.” Kiranbo had heard of many Ultra abilities, and although there were indeed some abilities similar to teleportation, they were all akin to short-distance teleportation, requiring a tremendous amount of energy.

Even a single teleportation would cause the timer on their chest to flash red.

This was entirely different from their interdimensional teleportation, and it was even more distinct when compared to the mysterious Ultra warrior before them, who was even more proficient at teleportation than they were.

“As a legendary light, naturally, I should possess powers worthy of being called legendary. For instance… seeing through your little tricks.” The Saiya bracelet on Kaigo’s left arm flashed, and as he swiped his hand, it instantly transformed into a cold beam of light, targeting the direction in the air where there was no one.

“Ah!”

The next second, Kiranbo suddenly reappeared in the air, struck by the cold beam and solidifying in mid-air before crashing heavily to the ground.

This instantly shattered the Kiranbo clone that had still been speaking on the spot into magnetic energy, disappearing without a trace.

The Saiya bracelet on Kaigo’s left hand flashed again, and in an instant, another Saiya light wheel was thrown. In a blink, it sliced through the frozen Kiranbo, who could no longer move.

Kiranbo’s colossal body split in two with a resounding thud, slowly falling and exploding into fragments.

“Light skills are still too few,” Kaigo gazed at the defeated Kiranbo with some dissatisfaction. An inconspicuous light had already fallen into his hand.

After giving the Victory Team a true-to-form Ultra nod, Kaigo’s figure instantly dissolved into colorful particles and vanished, quietly returning to the Western-style house.
