Chapter 5
Eiriri and Megumi Kato

Sawamura Spencer Eriri panicked.

After returning from outside, she had been sitting in front of her drawing board for four or five hours.

But until now, the drawing board was still empty.

She suddenly realized that she couldn't draw anymore.

Or rather, after witnessing the boy's painting skills this afternoon, Eriri felt that the scenes she painted would never be able to achieve the heart-wrenching effect he did.

"What should I do, the deadline is coming soon, why did I have to meet that guy today!" The helpless Eriri once again used her ultimate move, the blame-shifting technique.

As long as there was no one else around, she was no longer the perfect and flawless young lady, but a somewhat willful and somewhat arrogant beautiful girl.

"Eriri, dinner is ready." A woman who looked eight points like the girl knocked on Eriri's door. If you only looked at their appearance, nine out of ten people would think that the woman was actually Eriri's sister or younger sister.

Forget it, let's just say she's the older sister.

After all, the size of her chest…emmmm, it's really hard to describe.

Of course, anyone who would think like that would surely not know that this woman, who seemed to have a large bust, was also flat-chested.

Sawamura Sayuri, who had just finished watching an entire BL anime on this rare weekend, was in a great mood. She was about to tease her daughter during dinner and bring this day to a perfect end, but then she discovered that her daughter was sitting in front of the drawing board with a blank stare.

The drawing paper was empty.

Next to the drawing board, there was a pencil drawing, but due to the angle, Sayuri couldn't see it clearly. However, this wasn't a problem for her, all she had to do was walk two steps forward.

As she approached, the pencil drawing came into her view.

"Eriri, this is..." Sayuri suddenly felt like she had lost her ability to speak.

Because from that simple, almost rudimentary drawing, all she saw was despair.

"Ah, Mom." Eriri finally snapped out of her daze, looking at her mother, her expression neither happy nor sad.

It was really a dilemma to see her mother's interesting expression at the moment when she was sad because she couldn't draw.

This mother and daughter pair truly loved and killed each other.

"Eriri, did you draw this?" Sayuri was a little worried. Although she knew her daughter wouldn't be so down, she decided to ask just in case.

What if her daughter had been going through something they, as parents, didn't know about? Don't wait until it's too late to regret and sigh that you didn't ask one more question back then.

"No, it was drawn by a boy I met today." Eriri told her mother about her encounter on the streets of Tokyo, and Sayuri listened with a mixture of wonder and teasing.

"No wonder Eriri has been in a daze since you got home, so you're in love." After listening to Eriri's story, Sayuri put her arm around her daughter's shoulders and said teasingly.

"Mom. Stop it, why do you always think about these strange things." The blonde girl pushed her mother away in disgust. Even though she's already a thirty-something-year-old auntie, how can she still be so love-brained?

Sayuri shook her head mysteriously: "Not at all, love is the most sacred and happiest thing in the world. Back in the day, your father and I..."

"Stop, stop, I don't want to hear about your past." Seeing her mother's nostalgic expression, Eriri knew that she was going to start showering them with love again.

Sayuri was a little unhappy to be interrupted by her daughter, but as a qualified mother, she wouldn't argue with her daughter.

At most, she would find a way to get back at her from somewhere else.

"Alright, Eriri is already starting to dislike her mother." Seeing Eriri getting ready to refute her, Sayuri quickly said ahead of her daughter: "But what I said about Eriri being in love wasn't a joke."

"You've been home for hours now, isn't his image the only thing in your mind?"

Even though she didn't want to admit what Sayuri said, Eriri couldn't help but admit it.

Since she got home, she had indeed been thinking about the boy who drew.

"But I'm not in love, I just admire his drawing skills!"

Eriri convinced herself.

Yes, this is not love, it's just admiration for the strong!

Seeing her daughter's appearance, Sayuri knew exactly what Eriri was thinking.

Just thinking about the incident her daughter had experienced in elementary school, she couldn't help but be on high alert.

She wouldn't be so soft-hearted towards those who wanted to take advantage of her daughter.

...

Kato Megumi was busy in the kitchen.

She was a sensible girl. Her parents were working hard for their family, providing her with a carefree upbringing.

In order to not make them work too hard, the young girl had already taken the initiative to take on household chores.

Cleaning the room, cooking dinner, making bento boxes, all these trivial tasks were all done neatly under the girl's nimble hands.

The girl even had time to hum a few of her favorite songs.

"Megumi, are you in a good mood today?" Seeing her daughter's appearance, Megumi's mother was curious.

How could her daughter, with her calm personality, experience such a happy thing?

"Of course, I met a classmate from my first year of high school when I went to the supermarket today."

"Is he your boyfriend?" Seeing her daughter smiling with her eyes closed, Megumi's mother had the urge to tease.

"No, he's just a regular classmate." Megumi shook her head.

"But Megumi, you've never been this happy about any regular classmate before." Megumi's mother was unwilling to let go of her daughter.

It's rare that she can think of her daughter once, how can she not deepen their mother-daughter bond?

"That's because this person is very interesting." Megumi pursed her lips, obviously thinking about Kasuga no Tetsu's funny expression when they met in the supermarket this afternoon.

This guy always liked to say weird things when he was at school before.

"I see, then invite him over for dinner next time you have the chance." Seeing her daughter's expression, Megumi's mother was even more certain.

Her daughter seemed to have developed a liking for someone.

Japan's attitude towards early love...no, in the eyes of Japanese parents, there's no such thing as early love.

Don't even mention high school students, even junior high school students, elementary school students...forget it, elementary school students are a crime, let's just say junior high school students.

Even if junior high school students are dating, their families usually don't object.

Megumi's mother was also a regular Japanese parent. If her daughter really fell in love, she wouldn't object, she would even give her blessings.

However, there was one thing that she couldn't compromise as a parent.

At least she had to screen her daughter for her, she couldn't let just any Tom, Dick, or Harry fool away her lovely and well-behaved daughter.
