Chapter 9
A Tiger Cub Herding Pigs? Are You Kidding Me?

A "逢圩" (xu), is basically a rural custom.

Following the lunar calendar, there are those that fall on the ‘1, 4, 7’, and others that fall on the "3, 6, 9".

Here in Su Ze, it falls on the ‘2, 5, 8’.

In other words, on the lunar calendar, if there are the numbers ‘2’, ‘5’, ‘8’, there will be a market.

Like today, it is the fifth day of the lunar month, which means it falls on the ‘5’.

Every time there is a "逢圩".

The village market will be bustling with activity.

Some villagers will bring out the chickens, ducks, geese, vegetables and fruits they raise and grow, and set up stalls to sell them.

And those who need something at home will also come to the market to buy what they need today.

As for Su Ze, he had pre-ordered a batch of wild pigs some time ago.

So he came to pick them up.

Unlike in the city, where they will deliver to your door, you have to pick up certain livestock yourself.

Driving his battered pickup, Su Ze soon arrived at the village market.

After parking his car, Su Ze found the seller.

He first took a look at the batch of wild pigs he had pre-ordered.

The quality was pretty good, and the breed was the famous ‘Two-Headed Black’ in this area.

As the name suggests, except for the head and tail being black, the rest is white.

It is said that this breed of pig was once a tribute pig.

After briefly checking the quality, it was time to transport the pigs home.

“Boss, where's your car?”

The pig seller was from a breeding farm in the next city. He was around forty years old, with a typical plain face of a rural person. His skin was dark, his fingers were rough, and he had a pig smell about him.

“In the parking lot, it's not easy to get here.”

Su Ze looked at the pigs in front of him and frowned slightly.

He had ordered eight pigs.

One sow for breeding, and seven piglets.

He thought that only eight pigs, his pickup truck would be able to fit them.

But looking at them, just the sow alone was a tight fit.

After thinking for a moment, Su Ze said: “Boss, will you be free later?”

“My pickup probably won't fit.”

“I'll have to trouble you to help me deliver them.”

The pig seller was taken aback by the request, "I still have to do business today."

"It's not that I won't help you deliver, but it's likely to be very late."

Su Ze nodded, “That’s a bit tricky then.”

Looking at the eight pigs in front of him, Su Ze was also a little uncertain.

If nothing else, he would have to make two trips.

It wouldn't be a big deal anyway.

At that moment, a shout came from a distance.

“Hey!”

“Brother Su Ze!”

A figure rushed towards him, shouting from afar.

It was Wang Jian Bo.

Su Ze didn't hesitate and drove off. He couldn't bear to be alone in the yard with the tigress.

Without saying a word, he drove his car and went looking.

The market was bustling on "逢圩" day, with so many people.

He searched for a long time before finally finding him.

“Brother Su Ze, I finally found you.”

Wang Jian Bo finally found Su Ze, and his face lit up with joy.

Seeing Wang Jian Bo, Su Ze's face also lit up with joy.

He slapped his thigh and said, “You came just in time!”

Then, Su Ze turned to the pig seller and said:

“Boss, you don't need to deliver them.”

“Come on, let's load them up.”

Wang Jian Bo: “???”

“Wait!”

“Brother Su Ze, what are you doing?”

“Damn it, this is my new car!”

“Boss, no, I don't even know him...”

...

The sound of "吭哧吭哧" came from the end of the field.

A white battered pickup led the way.

Followed by a crimson Great Wall Cannon.

In the cargo beds of both pickups, a few ‘Two-Headed Blacks’ were loaded.

When they reached the yard, they stopped.

Su Ze opened the car door and took Little Yellow and Little White out of the car.

He put them on the ground, letting them play by themselves, while he looked at the driver's seat of the crimson Great Wall Cannon.

Wang Jian Bo was looking aggrieved at the moment.

He looked like a bullied little wife.

“Wang the Veterinarian, why do you look like that?”

“It's okay, it's just transporting pigs.”

“I'll let you wash your car later, my water pressure is great.”

Wang Jian Bo: “I helped you transport pigs.”

“Can't you just take it to the car wash in the county and get it washed?”

Su Ze: “It's okay, we don't spend money we shouldn't.”

“I thank you!” Wang Jian Bo didn’t want to talk.

Su Ze: “Alright, stop dawdling, let's herd the pigs first.”

Su Ze opened the tailgate of the pickup, ready to herd the sow into the yard first.

He had arranged the pigsty a few days ago.

Now he could just herd them in.

With a "吱呀", the yard gate was opened.

Hearing the noise, the tigress stood up.

Her gaze swept over.

Immediately.

“叽叽——”

“叽叽叽叽——”

The sow, which had been quiet in Su Ze's hands, suddenly started squealing.

It was squealing and trying to run.

Su Ze glanced at the tigress in the yard.

Then he looked at the squealing sow.

Then he looked at the piglets on Wang Jian Bo's car, jumping up and down, and was stunned.

“Damn!”

“I completely forgot!”

“I have a postpartum tigress at home!”

Wang Jian Bo: “Should I apply to the Forestry Bureau for you?”

“This batch of pigs...”

“Just be a snack for the tigress?”

Su Ze: “Are you kidding me?”

“I bought these pigs to raise, not to feed the tiger.”

“What if she eats them?”

“Will the farm become a postpartum center?”

Su Ze was in a panic at the moment, he didn't know what to do.

To be honest.

He had ordered the pigs as soon as he got home.

It had been half a month now, and he had completely forgotten about it.

Besides, the tigress had already moved in.

It's obviously not feasible to drive her away.

And he couldn't just raise a tiger.

His farm had to operate!

What about the pigs?

Su Ze looked at the sow that was originally squealing beside him.

For some reason, two cubs were on her back.

Little Yellow and Little White climbed onto the sow's back, '嗷嗷叫', they were having a good time.

And the sow that had been squealing, was no longer squealing and was exceptionally docile.

Seeing this magical scene, Su Ze looked at Wang Jian Bo and asked:

“Wang the Veterinarian, do you think...”

“This Siberian tiger and domestic pigs.”

“Is it possible for them to co-exist harmoniously?”
