Chapter 11
Screening (1/5)

Under Derek’s command, Jenny’s truck slowly reversed into the ranch, stopping right in front of the wooden house.

Then, Jenny took over, instructing the Milktank, Mareep, and Tauros to get off.

Derek led these Pokémon to their designated areas.

The Mareep were on one side, while the Milktank and Tauros were on the other.

After settling these Pokémon, Jenny said to Chu Mu, “Chu Mu! Count the number! If there’s no problem, I’ll leave!”

While busy, Chu Mu raised his head and said, “No problem! Jenny! I already counted them!”

“Okay! I'll deliver your ordered riding lamb when it arrives!”

“Okay! Thanks!”

“See you later!”

“Beep beep beep!!”

Jenny honked her horn a few times and drove out of Chu Mu’s ranch, heading back the way she came!

With Derek’s help, Chu Mu quickly finished setting things up!

“Alright, Chu Mu! Let them stay in the wooden house for one day, and then release them early tomorrow morning. They will go out to eat grass on their own,” Derek said.

“Understood! Uncle!”

It was time to rest.

First, Chu Mu and Derek fried some frozen steaks in the kitchen for lunch.

As for Little Diamond, it was full after eating a few energy cubes.

As for Charizard, Chu Mu checked the freezer and found some beef sirloins, which he cooked and fed to Charizard.

It was while Charizard was eating that Chu Mu had the chance to check its information.

“Charizard: Level 76, Dragon/Flying”

Seeing Charizard's high level of seventy-six, Chu Mu felt a surge of security.

After lunch, Chu Mu planned to go to the wooden house and use his cheat code to take a look at the Milktank, Mareep, and Tauros, one by one!

Although there was an element of gambling involved, Chu Mu decided to try it since it was a no-loss situation.

However, Chu Mu was quickly disappointed.

“Milktank: Level 22, Normal”

“Milktank: Level 20, Normal”

“...”

“...”

“Tauros: Level 21, Normal”

“Tauros: Level 23, Normal”

“Tauros: Level 20, Normal”

“...”

“...”

“Mareep: Level 23, Electric”

“Mareep: Level 24, Electric”

“Mareep: Level 22, Electric”

“...”

“...”

“...”

After going through them all, Chu Mu shook his head in disappointment, “As expected, finding bargains like this is rare.”

Just as Chu Mu was feeling disheartened and about to leave, a sudden glance made him pause.

“Silage (Level 1)”

“Is this the silage I made the other day?”

Seeing the cheat code’s evaluation of the silage he made, Chu Mu knew that this silage must have some special effect.

Because Chu Mu had already used his cheat code to check the harvested pasture grass before, and there was nothing special about it.

But after Chu Mu’s own processing, the cheat code actually gave the silage a rating!

Chu Mu knew what this meant!

“Maybe it’s because I made it!” Chu Mu guessed.

Whether it was true or not, Chu Mu could find out by trying it himself later!

Similarly, the specific effect of the silage rated by the cheat code would also need time to show.

However, judging from the current eating situation of the Mareep, Milktank, and Tauros, they seemed to really like it!

He had only added silage (Level 1) to their food at noon, and now, after only an hour or so, they had already eaten almost all of it!

After finishing their meal, they lay leisurely on the hay meadow, sleeping.

They no longer had the tense emotions they had when they arrived!

“This is a good start!” Chu Mu cheered himself up.

Chu Mu knew that for the next few days, he would need to personally make more silage and observe the Mareep and the others.

At the same time, he would need to experiment to see if other things would be different after going through his own processing!

Seeing that the Milktank and the others were no longer anxious, Chu Mu decided to let them go to the ranch directly!

More exercise would be good for them! It would help with digestion, and it would also be good for milk and wool production!

As Chu Mu opened the fences one by one, the Mareep, Milktank, and Tauros walked out along the path!

Tauros loves running, so as soon as they arrived at the ranch, they ran out quickly!

Their spirits were noticeably better than when they came!

Moreover, Chu Mu wasn't worried about Tauros getting lost because, from observing their consumption of silage (Level 1), he could tell it had an extraordinary appeal to them.

He didn't think he would even need to call them; when Tauros got hungry, they would just run back on their own!

As for the Milktank and Mareep, they were more relaxed!

Milktank likes to lie on the ranch and rarely moves!

While Mareep prefers to stroll leisurely around the ranch.

Seeing that they were all doing fine, Chu Mu was ready to return to the villa.

He wanted to try if other things would have the same effect!

Walking into the kitchen, Chu Mu picked up a few fruits!

These were some wild fruits he had picked up around the area a few days ago.

As for the fruit trees he planned to plant, they hadn't arrived yet!

So, his plan to plant fruit trees around the ranch hadn’t started yet!

The reason Chu Mu took out these fruits was to make a simple fruit salad!

This would allow him to quickly test if the cheat code rating was related to his involvement!

Chu Mu was a little anxious now. He hurriedly washed the fruits and then placed them on the cutting board, cutting them randomly with a knife.

Then, he placed the cut fruit in a bowl and squeezed some mayonnaise and other salad dressing on it!

After mixing it evenly, Chu Mu’s special fruit salad was ready!

Chu Mu quickly checked the fruit salad he made and laughed!

“Fruit Salad (Unrated)”

Although this was just an unrated fruit salad, the fact that it was marked as unrated by the cheat code made Chu Mu happy!

Because this fruit salad confirmed Chu Mu’s guess!

As long as something was processed by Chu Mu himself, the cheat code would give it a rating!

As for what the effect was, he couldn't tell for sure, but it was definitely attractive to Pokémon.

After all, Little Diamond, without Chu Mu noticing, had already hopped onto the table to eat the fruit salad that Chu Mu had hastily made.

And Chu Mu believed that as long as he paid a little more attention, this fruit salad would definitely be rated Level 1.

But this wasn't important anymore. All he had to do was make it again!

After all, Chu Mu still had another Pokémon that hadn't tasted this fruit salad!
