Chapter 12
One Wave After Another, A Riot Triggered by a Blizzard

The black limousine quickly drove out of the campus.

And, in the teacher's office.

"Teacher Hiratsuka, if there's nothing else, can we leave?"

Gu Cheng stood up, stretched, and said to Hiratsuka Shizuka.

"Um, no… there’s nothing else." Hiratsuka Shizuka nodded, her expression complex.

She watched Gu Cheng and Takanashi Rikka leave the office.

After their figures completely disappeared from her sight.

Hiratsuka Shizuka let out a long sigh, her whole body slumped back onto the chair again, limp.

At this moment, her heart was filled with mixed emotions.

She had thought that Gu Cheng was just a newcomer who had just awakened his super power.

Even if the strength of his awakened super power was strong, it should still be in the nascent stage.

At most, it’s comparable to a B-rank hero.

Therefore, she was worried that the parents of those "privileged children" would retaliate against Gu Cheng.

She planned to ask the leader of the largest group in the Hero Association, ‘Fubuki Group’— the B-rank first place "Hellish Fubuki", to be Gu Cheng's backer.

After all, both of them were superpowered.

Moreover, Fubuki had founded the superpowered club “Abnormal Ability Research Society” when she was a student.

She should be more caring towards Gu Cheng, who is also a superpowered individual.

But what happened?

After what happened just now, Hiratsuka Shizuka finally understood.

She didn’t need to worry.

Not to mention worrying about Gu Cheng.

Now, it seemed that her previous understanding of Gu Cheng was simply too superficial!

She even began to wonder if those "privileged children" would be beaten by their families after being beaten up by Gu Cheng!

Imagine, these "privileged children" who have been pampered and spoiled, go home and cry that they were beaten up at school.

If it was just a normal student fight, their parents might comfort them and then go to the school to complain.

But, the person who beat them up was Gu Cheng.

In this situation, how would the parents of these “privileged children” feel after learning the truth?

Would they still bother the school and Gu Cheng because they care about their children as usual?

The answer is obviously no!

The more likely scenario is that these “privileged children” will not only not get comforted after being beaten up, but will also be scolded and even beaten up by their families for provoking someone they shouldn't have!

After all, in this world where the strong are respected, strength is everything!

Thinking of this, Hiratsuka Shizuka couldn’t help but imagine Gu Cheng’s harmless smiling face.

After all, who would have thought that behind such a harmless smile, there was a terrifying power comparable to that of an S-rank hero!?

"S-rank hero…"

Hiratsuka Shizuka muttered to herself, a complex look flashing in her eyes.

Since a few decades ago, various kinds of monsters began to appear in this world. Some of them are incredibly strong, some are as swift as the wind, some can control fire, and some can control lightning...

In short, these monsters all possess powers far beyond ordinary people!

And these monsters brought great disasters to human society.

Some of them burn, kill, rob, and do all kinds of evil; some simply enjoy the pleasure of destruction, razing cities to the ground...

For a while, the whole world was plunged into chaos, and the survival space of human beings was squeezed as never before.

And, to deal with the increasing number of monster disaster incidents, an organization called "Hero Association" was born.

The Hero Association is an organization established by super wealthy individuals to maintain world peace. They have the most advanced technology and powerful military strength. Their purpose is to fight monsters and protect humanity.

The Hero Association will assess the danger level of the appearing monsters, which are divided into five disaster levels: Wolf-level, Tiger-level, Demon-level, Dragon-level, and God-level.

Wolf-level disaster: equivalent to the danger level of one monster.

Tiger-level disaster: equivalent to the danger level of a group of monsters, posing a certain threat to towns.

Demon-level disaster: equivalent to the danger level of a city, posing a significant threat to a city.

Dragon-level disaster: equivalent to the danger level of multiple cities, posing a serious threat to human society.

God-level disaster: equivalent to the danger level of human extinction. Its threat level is immeasurable and can destroy humanity.

Based on the heroes' strength, the Hero Association divides its members into four levels, from low to high: C, B, A, and S.

C-rank heroes: most are newly registered newcomers, their strength varies, and they usually handle trivial things such as finding lost pets and helping old ladies cross the street.

B-rank heroes: start to take on some combat missions, usually responsible for dealing with Wolf-level monsters, and occasionally participate in the extermination of Tiger-level monsters.

A-rank heroes: all are battle-hardened elites with extraordinary fighting strength. They are usually responsible for dealing with Tiger-level monsters, and sometimes form teams to participate in the extermination of Demon-level monsters.

S-rank heroes: the super powerful beings at the pinnacle of humanity. Each of them possesses terrifying power that can destroy the heavens and the earth, and can single-handedly fight against Demon-level, even Dragon-level monsters.

Each S-rank hero is humanity’s ultimate weapon against monsters!

So Hiratsuka Shizuka knew very well.

S-rank heroes are the super strong beings at the pinnacle of humanity!

And, Gu Cheng, at only 17 years old, who just awakened his super power, already possesses terrifying power comparable to an S-rank hero!

How high will his future reach!?

Hiratsuka Shizuka didn’t dare to imagine, nor did she dare to imagine.

"Bang bang bang—"

Soon after Gu Cheng and Takanashi Rikka left, a hurried footstep sounded from afar, getting closer and closer until it stopped at the door of the teacher's office.

Then, the office door was pushed open violently.

"Teacher Hiratsuka! It’s not good! It’s not good!"

A beautiful woman with a tall and slender figure rushed into the office in a panic.

The person who came was the world history teacher of Totsuka High School— Kiryuuin Satsuki.

She had long, jet-black hair that reached her waist, and below her straight bangs was a pair of sky-blue eyes that seemed to see through people's hearts.

However, unlike the depiction of Kiryuuin Satsuki's eyes in the comics, which is obviously different from other characters, her pupils have no obvious light and dark changes. They are just like two pure blue gems carved, exuding a unique charm.

However.

At this moment, her fair face flushed with an unhealthy redness, and a few drops of crystal-clear sweat rolled down from her forehead.

Kiryuuin Satsuki’s sky-blue eyes were filled with anxiety.

"Teacher Hiratsuka, why are you still here!?"

Kiryuuin Satsuki said breathlessly.

There was even a hint of crying in her tone.

"It’s not good! Something big happened!"

"The teaching building, I don’t know why, suddenly started shaking violently!"

"Now the whole teaching building is about to collapse!"

"You hurry up and come with me! It’s too late if we don’t go now!"

Kiryuuin Satsuki said as she hurriedly ran to Hiratsuka Shizuka’s side, grabbing her hand without hesitation, ready to leave.
